I have some dress pants which are too tight in the crotch. Is there any way I can expand that area?
Better made pants (dress and casual) have sufficient material to let out the crotch and the seat a good 2–2.5 inches each. If the pants do not have this extra material or if you need more room, it may be possible for the tailor to sew in some other material to complete the necessary alteration. But it would be expensive.If you don’t have the necessary material, I suggest buying new pants. It is very uncomfortable to wear pants tight in the crotch. They might be tight in the upper thigh also.Whenever I buy slacks (dress or khakis), I always check to see if there is room to let out the waist, seat and crotch.
What is the difference between crotch depth and crotch length?
If I remeber right from design school, the DEPTH takes into account the stomach and ease of movement when the wearer sits/stands. These motions have to be accounted for, or you would split your pants when you sat down! (lol) The length is uses to calculate the RISE or distance between the 4 seams that come together at the crotch and the top of the pants/waistband. These also come into play with movement...you would risk falling out of your pants when you stood up, or went to reach for something. These measurements are important when you consider wear, or how the pants are intended to be used (formal vs casual, for example) or what material the pants woud be made from (knit vs woven, for example). Both measurements used together make comfortable, dependable pants. I hope I helped...that was a VERY good question!!
I have reduced the crotch length of my pants by 6cm but I still have excess fabric in d crotch area. Pls help!?
I am trying to get a perfect fit for my jeans but my major headache is getting the crotch area right without the excess fabric that folds in the crotch area. I have amended the pattern so many times and reduced the crotch length by 6cm already but I still have that fold though it is not as bad. I'm worried if I keep reducing it, I might not have much of a front left. Does anyone have the solution to getting rid of this annoying excess?!

How can I alter my scrubs, which are high-rise to low-rise without cutting the waistband off?
Hey! I bought these scrubs at a thrift shop, hoping to alter them a bit. So far, I've done the sleeves and shoulders of the top. I'm stuck on the pants! They're really high-waisted and they kind of narrow at the bottom like skinny jeans. I wanted to make them low-rise, so they're sitting on my hips by cutting off from the bottom (because I also wanted to make the leg wider). So what it comes down to is this: How do I alter the crotch and legs to fit And will it look ok if I trim the legs of the pants a little? I appreciate ANY help!! :) Thank you!
Extremely large penis (serious question)?
Well, I'm a little embarrassed about this issue,but it's not something that I can talk about with "real life" people,so maybe you guys can help me out. Anyway,my problem is that I have a very big penis. I know that everyone thinks it's great, but it's not necessary the case.I'm getting nonstop stares from people,and from time to time some rude comments that really embarrass me.It's especially uncomfortable in school where everyone knows me.I've developed some tricks of my own in order to deal with my situation, but I still got a long way to go :( maybe you guys can help me out.. Also, I got a question to the ladies around here - Will you get intimate with a guy with a very big penis,who is gentle and caring during sex,or is a big penis a big no-no no matter what?
