How Do You Prevent Android Phones From Loosing Battery

How can I stop my phone from losing so much battery?

Here are the things I follow to keep my Battery optimized :Avoid using unnecessary features. If you know it will be a while before your phone’s next charge, don’t use the camera or connect to the Internet. Flash photography can drain your battery especially quickly.Turn off Bluetooth. It will drain your battery very quickly.Same goes for WIFI, GPS, and infrared capabilities, if your phone has these features built in. Keep them off except when you need them.Turn the brightness of the display to the lowest setting possible.Use GSM rather than 3G - Using your phone in 3G / Dual Mode will drain the battery quicker than if you just use GSM modeWith a smartphone, avoid using moving or animated pictures or videos for your background. Animated backgrounds will drain the battery faster.Avoid fully discharging a lithium-ion battery! Unlike Ni-Cd batteries, lithium-ion batteries' life is shortened every time you fully discharge them. Instead, charge them when the battery meter shows one bar left.Turn power saver on and charge the phone while it is on. Also be sure to not charge the phone too much; it may reduce the life of the battery, requiring you to buy a whole new battery.Check to see if your phone has a "Battery Save" option. If so, you can turn this on to increase the life of your battery.Upload and sync only on Wi-Fi--If you're a keen Dropbox user or rely heavily on music syncing services, you'll benefit greatly from only doing your uploading through Wi-Fi.Don't use vibrate---Prefer to have your phone alert you to incoming calls by vibrating rather than playing a ringtone? We understand the inclination; unfortunately, vibrating uses much more power than playing a ringtone does.I also use DU Battery Saver & DU Speed booster - DU Battery Saver丨Power Doctor   -DU Speed Booster丨Cache Cleaner ---                     Hope this helps ..:)

My phone's battery is draining so fast. What can I do so that my phone's battery doesn't drain so fast?

Is this a new condition for an old phone? If so, you may need a new battery. Typical smartphone batteries last 1–3 years depending on your use. There are some good answers here, so I’m not going to repeat everything. Let’s take a look at what eats a phone’s power the fastest, and see if you can at least understand what’s going on.First is your cellular modem. A typical phone can transmit at very low power, or it can transmit at 350mW or more. When your phone transmits, the cell tower analyzes the power it’s receiving (dubbed Receive Signal Strength Indication, or RSSI) and instructs your phone to increase or decrease transmit power, depending on how it’s being heard. You have no control over this.If your signal strength is weak, 1 bar or less, you might see your battery dying before lunchtime in a typical day. At full power, you might well have a 75% charge by the end of the work day. It’s that important. What can you do about it? Not much. Turn off cellular and just use WiFi, if its available. Change carriers. Bring a big USB battery or get a wall plug and keep your phone charged.Next one is your screen. After the celluar radio, the screen can be the biggest power hog. To save power, dial down the brightness, or at least set it in auto-bright mode. And finally, what do you do with the phone? If you’re playing games, that’s going to eat phone battery. That runs the CPU faster than normal, kicks in all some or all of the high-performance cores in your multi-core CPU, and turns on the GPU. There’s nothing you can do to reduce high power use of your phone other than to not run the higher power applications, or only do that when plugged in.Use the battery meter (or whatever the equivalent of this is in your OS, if you’re in the 20% of the world that isn’t using Android) and see how your phone’s power is being used. This will help you find out where the power is going, and at least understand what you need to change to save battery power. But you still may need that charger or extra battery. If your cellular signal isn’t strong where you use the phone, the phone will die fast.

Why is my phone charger draining my battery?

If it is the original charger that came with the phone, then the charger might be faulty or the current is not enough. If the phone is old, then the battery is on it’s way to the grave. Buy yoursef a 5 volt 2.1 amp output usb/wall charger, that will solve any amp current problems. I recommend MP charger from streatham high road sw16.Ps. A charger does not drain a battery, any charge in a battery can be slowly lost when a charger is off and the + is attached to a circuit.Update: 08/04/2019. When a battery gets old and you are online with the screen on the battery will slowly lose charge because the phone is taking more current than the charger and battery can supply to charge and operate the phone at the same time. This happens to my phone and I have 2.4Ah battery. If you plug in a higher amp charger the problem should be solved. Minimum should be 1Amp charging current.Robert.

Why does my phone battery decrease even when it's turned off?
