How Do You Purchase The Food From James Wellbeloved

What do you think about James Wellbeloved cat food?

James Wellbeloved is a decent dry food compared to so many other supermarket brands although the amount of grains/fruits and veggies are really substantial. If you check the label, the first ingredient is white rice? Hmm..and on top of that, you have maize gluten, potato protein, (vegetable protein is the cheapest form of protein in cat food and does not provide any benefit to your cat) and tomato, carrot, cranberries and vegetable gravy. Again, cats are carnivores and does need not rely on any vegetables and fruits. It's just a marketing ploy to attract human because we often associate vegetables and fruits as beneficial to our own health. We are purchasing food for our carnivorous cats, that we will have to keep in mind.

And a cat do much better on a wet diet. I am sure you can get this from the UK. It's called Bozita Chunks and the ingredient is awesome! No animal deriatives, no soy proteins or grains, free from artificial aromas and preservatives and no meat meal. It is also a complete cat food for all life stages.

You can feed wet food without animal derivatives. You only need to know where and how to look for it.

Hope I helped!

James Wellbeloved dog food?

Never believe everything you read (in terms of what's said on the outside of the bag) hahaha. They are not going to say this is a rubbish food now are they!! Basically I understand it is a good food, but it didn't suit my hounds. If your puppy is doing fine on it, carry one!!

What's the best commercial dog food brand to feed to my gassy indoor dog?

My suggestion is to really evaluate what you feed your dog. If you feed kibble, what ingredients are in it? If you also feed canned food, what’s in that? Do you feed treats? Any table scraps or people foods? How old is your dog? How active? At what point did your dog begin to be gassy? And is your dog a brachycephalic breed (flat-faced/smooshed-face, like a bulldog or Pug) - they are gassy because they have to breathe through their mouths. There is no 1 food that can be recommended to everyone. One of my current dogs has bad reactions to some of the best foods on the market! Breed, age, allergies/ sensitivities, activity level, how fast they eat, how often they eat - lots of factors.Have you discussed this with your vet? Not all vets are knowledgeable about nutrition, but it is worth getting feedback from her/him.Most of the lower-quality foods have corn, soy and wheat as their primary ingredients, and then meat by-products and meat meal as their animal protein ingredients. This is not the diet dogs should be eating. It isn’t that dogs can’t have any grains, and a little bit of wheat isn’t a horrible thing - but corn and soy are foods for ruminants and other vegetarians, not for dogs.Dog foods should have an identified meat/fish/fowl as the first ingredient, because even though dogs are obligate carnivores, and can and will eat vegetables, fruits and grains/legumes, their primary dietary need it meat. The carbohydrate in a dog food should be brown rice, maybe millet, barley - much easier to digest, and more like what a canid would encounter in their natural diet. (For example - when a dog, wolf, coyote, dingo, jackal kills an animal, one of the prize things to eat is the stomach, which contains partially digested grasses, seeds, grains of the herbivore’s diet)Some dogs benefit from having high-quality, multi-organism plain yogurt once or twice a week. Like us, they need the beneficial bacteria in their intestines to properly digest their foods, and it can help mitigate gassiness.

What is the best quality cat food on the market? U.K?

I feed my cats on Sheba - the premium luxury tins - they do tuna (in a blue tin), chicken (in a yellow tin) and chicken and duck (in a pink tin). It is purely meat in a light clear gravy, not reconstituted ears, noses and arses (!!), which is what Kitekat, Felix, etc is. It looks like human food, and you can actually tell what it is, instead of looking like crap. Basically, if the food has ingredients that you can't recognise (like EU permitted colours/preservatives) or wouldn't want to eat yourself, don't give it to your pet - if you love them! I also give them Ollie dry food, which is organic, I think. The good stuff is not that much more expensive than the cheap stuff, and it makes me feel better to know that they're not eating anything bad for them.

My boxer dog is passing loose yellow stools?

The change in diet is most likely the cause. When my dog would have yellow runny stools it meant the food was too rich for her.

Stop with the James food for today. Here's what my vet always had me do: If you have some lean hamburger meat (75% lean or better), boil one pound in water (nothing else, just the hamburger). Drain and rinse to get rid of the fat (the grease will give the dog diarrhea)

Separately, make some white rice -- don't rinse it before making it, because you want it to have sticky starch in it.

Give the dog small meals of rice and hamburger, maybe one cup of rice and 1/4 cup hamburger, mixed together. The starch in the rice will help to bind the stool.

When you're at the vet, ask how long you should continue to give the boiled hamburger mix.

What is the best dry food for a 10-year-old cat with IBD?

There are a lot of websites now available that have caught up with the science of biologically appropriate diets for felines. Please refer to those rather than inquire here where you will receive conflicting information some of which is outdated by decades and downright dangerous.Start with these and you'll be on the right track.Feeding Your Cat: Know the Basics of Feline NutritionFeline Nutrition Foundation

What is the best food for Siamese cats and how can you prepare it?

The best food for Siamese cats is the same as that for other cats: a balanced diet of high quality animal protein, “wet food”, canned food, a nutritionally balanced diet of home-cooked food, (or a balanced raw diet if you prefer). Cats do not flourish on carbohydrates; they frequently develop all sorts of serious health problems from dry food; they need lots of water IN their food, as their physiology is designed for that.

My alaskan malamute won't eat her food?

I have an 8 month old alaskan malamute and she won't eat her food! I've tried giving her bakers, pedigree, james wellbeloved, science plan and wainrights. She is her normal self , running, playing but she wont eat her food. She will eat 'human food" and treats however. Has anyone had any simular experiences with their dogs?
