How Do You Smoke Out Of An Albumin Pipe

What do pipe smokers mean when they say they don’t "inhale" and therefore, pipe smoking isn't as bad as cigarette smoking?

Q: What do pipe smokers mean when they say they don't "inhale" and therefore, pipe smoking isn't as bad as cigarette smoking? Most pipe smokers do not take the pipe smoke into their lungs. They only sip the smoke into their mouth and sometimes expel it through their nose. This is how we enjoy the taste of the burning pipe tobacco.Look at it this way, our lungs are intended to process air in order to exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide. Lungs are not intended to process smoke of any kind. So moving anything other than air in and out of our lungs will stress the tissues inside of the lungs. While cigarettes can be smoked without inhaling the smoke into the lungs, they rarely are used this way. Most cigarette smokers inhale the smoke directly into their lungs. This provides a quicker and more intense hit of nicotine to the brain. It also introduces the particulate matter that is in the smoke into contact with the lung tissue. Having these components of tobacco smoke in our lungs is considered to be harmful. To conclude; while there is some slight risk of mouth cancers from just having smoke in our mouths, we pipe smokers are willing to face that risk in pursuit of our hobby. Everything if life has some degree of risk. You decide what risks you’re willing to take.

Is pipe tobacco more or less dangerous than regular cigarettes?

I'm not sure if you're ready for this answer. I'm not sure if anyone's ready for this answer. But before I shock you, I have to make sure we understand the terminology the same way. What I'll be talking about is pipe tobacco smoked in a pipe. I don't know if there's a difference between the health risks of pipe and cigarette tobacco when both types are smoked the same way. They are certainly not the same product. (Tobacco prepared for pipes is almost exclusively chemical-free, with the exception of propylene glycol, a preservative deemed safe for consumption. Tobacco intended for cigarettes, even though often called "pipe tobacco" for tax purposes, is loaded with chemicals.)So now that we're talking about real pipe tobacco smoked from a pipe, here's the report I'll be citing.http://profiles.nlm.nih.gov/ps/a...It's the Surgeon General's report from 1964, one of the few studies to distinguish the affects of different delivery systems. Remember, this was at the height of tobacco hysteria and the tobacco senate hearings. It says that there is an increased risk of disease over non-smokers but that cigarettes resulted in an even greater risk. But you guessed that already. Here's the kicker.Pipe smokers lived slightly longer than non-smokers.You read that right. You can, statistically, buy yourself a little bit more time on this planet by smoking a pipe and not inhaling.Don't believe me? You can look for yourself in that link I posted earlier. It's on page 91-92. Pipe smokers who inhale live about the same number of years as non-smokers. Those who don't inhale live a little bit longer. So fire up a bowl and relax, preferably with others smoking from pipes of their own. Oh, and did I mention that pipe smoke smells oh so much better than cigarette smoke? You can do your own study on that one.

Does smoking out of aluminum foil have any increased health risk compared to just smoking out of a glass pipe?

This is what happens to aluminum foil when it is exposed to the flame of a small pocket torch for less than 10 seconds. A standard lighter will have the same effect, but slightly slower because of the reduced temperature. The aluminum begins to oxidize, and will crumble away. If you are inhaling hard enough to capture the smoke, you are also inhaling hard enough to capture the aluminum dust. It does not matter if the aluminum does not appear to be deteriorating like in the picture. The aluminum is still oxidizing, and you are still inhaling small particles. The major short term effect is that aluminum is a lung irritant, and the effects may be similar to the short term effects of inhaling dust and smoke. The possible long term side effects of inhaling aluminum include increased risk of cardiovascular disease, cerebrovascular disease, and Alzheimer's disease.Long-term effects of aluminium dust inhalation.Relationships between alumina and bauxite dust exposure and cancer, respiratory and circulatory disease.https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc...You likely won't experience these side effects from the relatively small amount of aluminum inhaled while smoking. However, the more often you do this, the more likely you are to suffer side effects, so why take the risk. Smoking off aluminum foil is also much more common with drug abusers than drug users, and to the public eye actions like these reflect poorly on all drug users.A cheap glass marijuana pipe can be had for less than $5. This video is not of a pipe, but of a straw to hold over another sheet of aluminum while chasing the dragon. Oil burned pipes are used for the same types of drugs, and can be found for $1–2. A glass rose is similar, and can also be found for $1–2. If you can afford drugs to smoke, you can afford to buy properly made smoking utensils. If you can't afford, or can't be bother to spend a few dollars for harm reduction, then you should rethink your drug use and priorities.

Should doctors get paid less if they don't keep their patients healthy?

This movement is already afoot.  In Manitoba, Canada where I work and in other parts of the country there are payments that relate to performance.  It is not quite as sophisticated as you suggest in your question but there are the so called Chronic Disease Management Tariffs (CDM's).  Certain criteria are laid out and if we meet those criteria our pay is bumped a bit.  So for example, for diabetes the patients must have had a height, weight, BMI, blood pressure, cholesterol profile, HgbA1c, Creatinine, eGFR and Albumin/Creatinine ratio (off the top of my head I think that is it) done annually.  I believe the Creatinine, Weight, Blood Pressure and HgbA1c must be done twice a year.  Now, there is an assumption that if they are done that the results will be dealt with.  There is no proof that I didn't just ignore them all once they were done.  Common sense tells you though that is I did the test just to get the money but didn't act on the results I would leave myself open to disciplinary action and lawsuits when the heart attacks and strokes occur.   One of the benefits of this in addition to paying for a better quality of medicine is that it also pays more to the doctors looking after older and more complicated patients.  In a walk in clinic in the suburbs where the patients are mostly 30 year old moms and 8 year old kids that are generally healthy the doctors will not make much through the CDM stream.  In my clinic where the population is quite elderly we feel rewarded for the complexity of our patients and the evening and weekend time spent managing all those test results. It's not perfect but I think it is a step forward.

How many calories are in a gram of weed?

Marijuana, hemp, and cannabis are three words that refer to the same plant. Cannabis is a fairly oily plant, so it is higher calorie than most other plants. You may have heard of hemp oil, which is also called hempseed oil. It is made by squeezing the hemp seeds and collecting the liquid fat (oil) that seeps out. It is chemically similar to olive oil.Cannabis is called hemp when the context is referring to the fibers (for making rope) or the oil.Cannabis is called marijuana when the context is referring to it as a psychoactive drug.If you smoke marijuana, it provides zero calories. It is possible to absorb calories through your lungs, such as if you inhale ethanol vapor (which is very bad for your lungs), but there are no calories in marijuana smoke. This is because calories, in general, come from things that are flammable. Sugar, fat, and protein are all flammable. They burn in the pipe, so there are no calories left in the smoke. A fair amount of the THC burns in the pipe as well, usually 50% to 90% of the THC either burns in the pipe or escapes in smoke that doesn't reach your lungs. If you eat marijuana, it provides a few calories, but not many. Marijuana bud is mostly just fiber (cellulose), which has zero calories. There is extremely little sugar. There is a little protein and fat, but really not much.If you are actually considering dried marijuana bud, I guarantee it is less than 2 kcal/gram. It is probably less than 1 kcal/gram. Compare to sugar, which is 4 kcal/gram. Compare to olive oil, which is 9 kcal/gram.

Did Einstein use LSD?

I hate to burst anyone's bubble that believes Einstein did LSD. But there is no credible evidence of it. Sad to say, there is a lot of speculation coming from various websites, but nothing close to actual proof. What we do know is that Einstein was a heavy smoker, and frequently was seen with his favorite tobacco and his pipe. He did not drink much.I did read online and other sources that LSD and DMT were found in his blood after he died. Given that LSD is taken in microscopic doses, it seems extremely unlikely (I personally believe impossible) that the technology in 1955 could detect traces of it in autopsy samples. Also, the body rapidly removes LSD, eliminating it within 24-48 hours. As for DMT, today there is currently no available data for how long DMT stays in the blood (maybe because the body produces it naturally) Although dmt can be detected in urine with special drug test for 2–5 days.Einstein died in 1955. From what I can tell, Albert Einstein did not use drugs but he did believe that the ban on drugs should be repealed.

JWs.:. Is the use of blood fractions against Jehovah's will?

You believe that Jehovah's laws forbid the use of whole blood for transfusions, right? How do you know that the life force isn't actually in hemoglobin, platelets, or any other blood fraction? If this is true, then you are TECHNICALLY following Jehovah's rules (by refusing whole blood), but going against his will all the same ... kind of like a tax loophole.

Let me illustrate. I tell my daughter that she may not smoke cigarettes. So she buys some at the store, removes the tobacco from them, and smokes the tobacco in a pipe. Technically, she is obeying the rule I established (Thou shalt not smoke cigarettes!), but - in reality - she is going against my will which is for her to NOT smoke the tobacco! Isn't it inappropriate, JWs, to guess what Jehovah's will is rather than obeying his rules?
