My best friend proposed to me two years back. I was a nerdy-type of a girl belonging to a conservative family. I had no idea how to respond. He mailed me a love letter and I freaked out after reading it. My mum read it too (it was unexpected and my mum was sitting right next to me while I opened my mail). I ignored him and deleted the mail.I pretended like nothing had happened, so did he. But it had. The barrier surrounding our uncomplicated but hidden friendship had been shattered. And the worst part was, while I was unaware of his feelings, the girls I used to hang out with used to tease me about him. They knew that he liked me, I don't know how.Needless to say, it was awkward. We didn't talk for almost a year, until the school farewell. I was starting to miss him and I wanted to talk to him. Well, my friend, you do have to tell, her, because you do like this guy. If you don't want to tell her, that's up to you, but if you don't tell her, chances are this guy may move on. And if she's really your friend, then she should understand, and that if he really makes you happy and that's who you want to be with, then you should be with him. Ever since i can remember i knew this girl. We were always best friends, now im 15, i had some times when i liked her and she liked me but somehow now i'm different. I'm not striving to date her, i just want to her to know i care for her. i always make her laugh, no matter what i say. we can basically talk about anything. Her little siblings always run around saying that she likes me or that i like her. I asked her friend if she likes me and she said that she likes me a little. Is there a chance she likes me back. I would die for her. she regards me as her Best friend and that whenever she was in trouble she could always rely on me. a year ago she said that she liked me like a brother but now i can sense something there in between us and if her friend tells me she has some feelings then maybe she starting to fall in love. Yes you can have more than one best friend. It is not abnormal to have more than one best friend. It really depends on you definition of a best friend, or any other title you want to name. I consider a best friend a close friend. A best friend is someone you can rely on no matter what. You can count on them through the ups and down. I have 2 best friends, they are the same friends that I have had since high school. They both share the title of best friend. I do not put one before the other. One is not first or second, they are both first in my life. I am close to both and can depend on them. They are there when I need a shoulder to cry on or even when I need someone just to talk to. So if you have more than one friend that fits this description, then you are a lucky person. And if any of these so called friends are telling you you can only have one best friend than they are really not your friend. Good luck with all that you do.
