I don’t do apples but I know that some phones can be a PITA with this. I have HTC phones which force turn off whether I like it or not. Usually I don’t mind it except for certain situations, one of which is when the phone is plugged in. The only way that I know of is using an app called SCREEN ON. There are a few options out there but I don’t know how else to do it. It is really up to the mfg to put that control into the phone so I don’t know why they refuse to do this.
