It started about a month ago. When I was signing up for an apprentiseship for a computer store. I knowtest i was sluring a little every-so-often. Then a week after that i slered when ever i was trying to make up a story. A week later whenever i stood up fast i would become blind for a few seconds and then i would be fine. But now this week i cant spell very well. I spell playses for the other word and i spell knowtest as knowtest. Also my spelling has droped about 5 WPM in the past 2 months. And i dont know what to think. My dads friend died of brain cancer 2 months ago and i dont want to be in pain.
Im a 14 Y/O Male weighing 156 LBS and i dont get much excersise but i am very strong. (If that helps) I used to live in North Caroline for 12 years and then i moved to Oregon 2 1/2 years ago.

If you can think of anything i would appreciate it. and if you have more questions my email is TieRein@ G mail .co m

Does thinking you have cancer actually cause cancer?

Original question: Does thinking you have cancer actually cause cancer?NoAt least not directly.Although our thoughts and the consequent worries can change levels of all kinds of stuff in our bodies, from stress hormones to signalling peptides to sugar and ions, I believe it's save to say that there is no direct link between worrying about cancer and actually developing one. There are, however, indirect mechanisms that could possibly lead to higher cancer incidences in peoply who are constantly afraid of getting it. It is possible that your worrying and the type of personality you are, will have an effect on your lifestyle: you might drink more than usual (alcohol is a carcinogen), you might smoke (smoking is a very strong carcinogen), you might have the wrong nutritional habits (processed meat is a (very) weak carcinogen), etc...Cancer is a frightening topic and many people live in fear of it. However, it is not caused by just one 'thing', it is always the result of many different factors (genetic, environmental, behavioral, ...) coming together, combined with a good deal of bad luck, which is often the biggest factor, that ultimately result in a cancer.I’ve heard an epidemiologist once say during a lecture, after having given an overview of all the different causes of cancer: "If you smoke, forget everything I have said." What he wanted to say is that smoking is by very far the cause n° 1 of cancer. If you smoke even one cigarette a day, you are already doing your best to get yourself a decent cancer in the years to come so you shouldn't worry about any other possible cause.Don't smoke or quit smoking and you will be fine.Worrying about getting cancer is far worse for your health than your standard risk of getting cancer. So don't bother... really…

I think I might have cancer im 14!?

Your symptoms do not describe cancer . . and one big reason is that cancer refers to tumors that you can actually see and feel. If you are talking about your colon . . there are tests that can be done to check for tumors . . so it is doubtful that you have cancer or they would have found it by now . . also colon cancer almost never occurs in children your age . .it is a disease of old adults. That does not mean you do not have medical issues, it just means that cancer will probably be ruled out. What you describe sounds more like ulcerative colitis or Crohns disease or even Celiac disease . . no one here can really tell you what is happening . . so it is good that you are going to see a specialist. Hopefully he will be able to come up with a diagnosis and you will get effective treatment.

I think I might have breast cancer. Im a 14 year old boy.?

oh boy,,,its nothing..every boy hv this lump like thing under his breast going throug puberty...its normal with puberty..dont worry

Can you start having cancer if you're constantly thinking about it?

No, you cannot get cancer or a heart disorder or anything else by constantly thinking that you may have that condition. You can get depressed and anxious though, and that is very unhealthy. There is a reason why you think about being sick all the time, you just don't know what it is because the cause is buried deep inside you. You are a potential budding hypochondriac. These thoughts you have now will continue into adulthood and you'll never be completely happy or healthy, always suspicious and afraid. You can't enjoy and appreciate your own natural good health .You need to begin therapy now, talk to a professional and get help. This is a psychological disorder. You can beat it, but it won't go away on it's own. The only way to stop thinking about it is to find out why you do think about it.

BREAST CANCER at 18 years old??....?

You likely have an infection, and yes, it is unusual for someone 18 to get Br. Ca. If you are given antibiotics, take them, and if it does not clear up during the time you are on the meds, go back. If you don't like what you hear, ask for a mammogram. If you are not satisfied, ask for a sonogram. See another obgyn too, if you're stilll not satisfied. Remember, it is YOUR breast!!!! and money is cheap when it comes to your health..... Mammograms in young women aren't really of much use, since the breast tissue is quite dense in young women. My dad was a doc, and his comment was that he considered anything unusual or any lump as cancer until proven otherwise. I am sure there were lots of unnecessary biopsies from his office, but he probably saved lots of women too. Send me your address, and I will send you a video on inflammatory br. ca. I'm: swan_silver2000@yahoo.com, and I don't care if others find my mail box, if it helps you.
