How Does Mike Vicks Overall Rating Go Up To A 83 But

Where did Michael Vick go to college at and what degree did he recieve?

Vick left Virginia Tech after his sophomore season, so he did not finish his degree in his major of sociology. He has stated he has plans to go back and finish the degree after completing his NFL career.

How far, hypothetically could the average NFL quarterback throw a football?

Flat footed, a pro quarterback can toss a ball 60 yards.
I know a player that can throw it 100...endzone to end zone.
But distance isn't what makes a QB desireable; it's ability, on field poise, and how he utilizes his assets.

What grades play JV basketball?

Well yea, but it's not necessarily always a good thing to be a junior and play JV. Especially if you've been playing since 9th grade and your still on JV.

Running quarterbacks are the new thing. Should pocket passers be forced to evolve?

NO.Every QB has their own unique advantages. their own strengths and weaknesses. Good Offensive Coaches do a gret job of maximizing the advantages and minimizing the weaknesses…developing game plans that exploit their opponents weaknesses and take advantage of what the QB they have actually does. You can’t teach someone who runs a 5 flat 40 to run a 4.2 40. While you can improve on certain attributes a QB has, you are rarely going to turn a passer that has been a pocket passer into a running QB…. just not going to happen. The statues you mention would be great QB’s in any era. Accuracy, ability to handle pressure, good decision making and a work ethic that gets them improving every year will always be the measures of greatness. Mobility just adds another tool.IN the NFL, running QB’s don’t usually last. It’s rare, even today for one to last very long. By running QB, I’m talking about someone that runs as much or more than they throw. Great QB’s use mobility to extend plays and give them more time to find an open receiver to throw to. You call Manning a statue, but go back and watch his old tape. He was never a runner, but he had a sixth sense about when to slide around the pocket to extend plays. That was a great weapon. There have always been more mobile QB’s in the league as Jay Stark points out, but the good one’s used mobility to enhance the passing game.I think you see more mobility today because of the offenses many of them have been running in HS & college that emphasize run/pass options because that gives offenses a large advantage when the talent levels are not as even as they are in the NFL.

How much horsepower do a 250cc dirt bike have?

15.64 hp is not unreasonable for a 250cc 4-stroke trail bike.

However, this looks like a cheap chinese knockoff of a '70's Honda XL250. I wouldn't take that bike if it was $100. They are of notoriously terrible quality and when something breaks, and something WILL break, parts are almost impossible to get. This bike is a throw-away motorcycle.

Better you buy a used brand-name dirt bike. You can get one cheaper and you will be able to get parts for it.

Is Eli Manning (football player) right in saying that he's "in the same class" as Tom Brady (football player)?

Here's my prediction for the Manning side of this argument (courtesy of Mr. T in Rocky III):I am really concerned that Eli Manning may have been concussed in the Giants first preseason game. Here are Eli's stats: http://www.nfl.com/player/eliman... Here are Brady's: http://www.nfl.com/player/tombra... Last year Eli threw 31 TDs and 25 INTs. Tom Brady has thrown 114 TDs.... against his last 25 INTs... over the last four seasons.  Just saying.  So, basically: Other than the 83 extra touchdowns, it's really close between them. Manning had one big postseason -- 2007 -- but even in that Super Bowl year, he wasn't lights out in the playoffs, throwing for under 255 yards in all four games:http://www.pro-football-referenc... Keep in mind, he doesn't even win the Super Bowl is Asante Samuel doesn't drop an easy INT with 1:20 left... see it: OR if David Tyree, the fourth receiver on the NYG, doesn't make a ridiculous catch on an ill-advised prayer / quacking duck Manning throws totally up for grabs into coverage on the very next play: History has been rewritten as if Eli Manning went all Joe Montana on the Pats.  It wasn't that way, people. The Manning play was reminiscent of: But at least everyone agreed Bradshaw got lucky on that play! The NFL Network had the players vote on the best players in the NFL.  Brady was voted #1.  Eli Manning didn't make the top 100! Here's how Manning stacks up vs. other QBs currently starting in the NFL: Clearly better QBs:Brady, P. Manning, Rodgers, Brees, Roethlisberger, Rivers, Vick. At best, he's #8 at QB in the league right now. And even at that spot, Matt Ryan, Tony Romo, Josh Freeman, Joe Flacco, Donovan McNabb, Sam Bradford, Jay Cutler and maybe even Ryan Fitzpatrick, Mark Sanchez, Matt Cassell and Carson Palmer could grumble. My closing argument is easy: Tom Brady is better because Giselle thinks so.Who could possibly argue?
