How Does Mobile Advertising Work How Do Companies Like Admob Work

Is there any mobile ad network company like Tap Joy, or AdMob in China? How much is the average CPI of a normal game app?

What might be the best ad companies (anything besides Admob) to work with on an ad revenue modeled start-up?

Is this an app you are trying to monetize? What formats are you using? Your choices come down to ad networks (there are many of them on the market, some get you high eCPM, some get you great fillrate, some work better in tier one countries, and worse in other regions, and so on - you would have to test and pick a few), RTB exchanges (they are difficult to integrate with, you would have to jump through a lot of hoops, but they pay more than networks). If you go down this road, you will need a bunch of providers to get optimal fill rate and to get different ad formats, and you would have to test them daily to build waterfall and ensure optimization. Or you can bypass these players, and use mediation. I definitely recommend mediation as this is a tool that combines all of the major providers mentioned above, tests them for you, and displays an ad that pays the highest eCPM. There are a bunch of them on the market. Check out Appodeal (all formats; one SDK - all networks by default; performs auction for you to get the highest paying ad; automatic optimization; one account - all networks; Net 0 payment terms), Fyber (offer walls and video format; you will have to test and pick a few networks you want to work with; manual optimization; automated waterfall; separate accounts for each network; Net 30 terms), Supersonic (videos and interstitials only; you will have to test and pick a few networks you want to work with;  will ensure fillrate, but you'll get whatever eCPM is being offered by third party networks; you will have to test and pick a few networks you want to work with; automated waterfall; manual optimization; Net 30 terms).Check out some online posts - How programmatic ad mediation benefits app publishers, Programmatic Ad Mediation Is The Next Step for App Publishers , Android ad networks performance report in United States for Apr 18 - April 24, 2016,  iOS ad networks performance report in United States for Apr 18 - April 24, 2016.

How do mobile advertisers like AdMob & Jumptap capture iPhone UDIDs via HTTP?

Interested in the same thing, but trying to work out if it's fully allowed by Apple following T&C's change last year (see thishttp://mbarclay.net/2010/06/19/s...)Basically just want to track whether a user installing my app had clicked on an ad link for the product at any point. No danger of the Jumptap / Adfonic style tracking getting me rejected by Apple? Assuming not, anyone have any experience of how successful the tracking is and under what circumstances it may not produce a fully accurate result?

How does Google AdMob work?

AdMob is a Google-owned network and one of the largest and most popular tools for app advertising. It was acquired by Google in 2010 and was restructured to incorporate many of the core functionalities of the Google advertising network. This resulted in the deep pool of advertisers, which generally leads to very good fill rates and competitive eCPMs. The network has an extensive support guide with numerous forums dedicated to solving any technical issues that arise. Basically, AdMob is a mobile-oriented version of AdSense. The network functions across all major platforms, including AdMob Android, AdMob iOS, and Windows 8. AdMob is allowing developers and publishers to monetize their mobile apps through app advertising with relevant ads from a huge inventory of advertisers that runs into their millions. What a developer needs to do is sign up for a free account and install the SDK into their app. Revenue is usually earned on a CPC basis, though there is also some CPM advertising available. This network does not require any specific language. AdMob can be used by both basic and advanced app publishers. The simplest way to use AdMob is to create standard-sized ads to appear in your app and to be filled using the Google mobile advertising network. Google AdMob mobile advertising platform prohibits content that contain violence, pornography, excessive profanity, hacking/cracking, illicit drugs, drug paraphernalia, sales of beer or hard alcohol, sales of tobacco or tobacco-related products, sales of prescription drugs, sales of weapons or ammunition, sales of products that are replicas or imitations of designer or other goods, sales or distribution of coursework or student essays, programs which compensate users for clicking ads or offers, performing searches, surfing websites, or reading emails, any other illegal content.

How is Adsense different from Double Click or Admob?

Generally:AdSense is a publisher network that allows almost any publisher to signup. Google AdWords is the biggest buyer network on the AdSense network.Doubleclick is subsidiary of Google, which develops and provides Internet ad serving services. Their biggest products are DFA (Doubleclick for Advertisers) and DFP (Doubleclick For Publishers). AdMob is essentially a mobile ad network also owned by Google. They allow app developers to monetize their apps and also promote them. In layman's terms:AdSense is where you make money for your blog or website.Doubleclick is a big advertising company that works with the biggest advertisers and publishers. AdMob allows mobile developers to make money by selling ads via their SDK.Adsense is essentially for small to medium sized publishes looking to monetize their website. Doubleclick's publisher products interface with AdSense directly e.g. via backfill.Roughly you should think of these products in Web vs Mobile World. Here is a simplistic view.Note how AdMob is both acting as a publisher ad network and also a buying ad network.

What is the best alternative to AdMob for an Android ad platform?

There are a lot of advertising possibilities. Here is an (incomplete) list:  I have an idea about Admob I'm writing this post so that it might be useful for u in some way Google's AdMob, by far the most used ad platform, easy to integrate into your apps, supports house ads, good analytics, but pays less than others. There have also beenreports on accounts being closed for no good reason.
