How Does My Body Look So Far

Do my pecs look too far apart or does it look like i have man boobs?

Your pecs look absolutely fine (I'm gay, I like the male body - you look fine, don't worry).

If you are worried that they protrude too much, maybe swim more -- I think it streamlines you.

Be full of happiness.

Kind thoughts,

Does my body look boyish to you?

Yes, I'm in a bathing suit. No, I'm not a slut. People wear bathing suits in public. Also, I realize I have stomach flab, and I am enrolling in the next session of kick boxing classes to get rid of it.

I want to know if my body is boyish. I think it is, and I'd rather have a curvy, more womanly body. Any idea on how to achieve that? By the way, I'm the only girl in my family that looks like this. All the rest of them (even my YOUNGER sister and cousins) have Kim Kardashian type bodies.

How can I have a curvy body but still not look fat?

Assuming you are female, any woman past puberty is, by nature “curvy” Look at the difference between how a man and a woman holds a toddler. The man will hold the toddler with his arms and after 10 minutes will say, “woo, I have to set you down and give my arms a rest”. The woman will flip out that hip, plop the child down and carry it around for hours, while she paints a wall! Why? Because she is naturally curvy. Now if you are want more curves use resistance (barbells, dumbbells, machines, bands, kettle bells, etc)! to broaden your shoulders and lift you muscles under you breast. For hips, legs butt: squats and/ lunges. As far as not looking fat, the same old advice …diet and exercise. Stay away from too many carbs. Do some sort of aerobics ( walk, jog, bike, skip rope, fitness class, etc.)I don’t know your age, but you sound younger, if so, don’t worry about it so much, you will get there naturally. Have fun, be careful, enjoy life, Rob

Does running tone your body?

Well I have to disagree with the other answers (posted so far).It definitely tones your body, when you´re not adding calories. Also it doesn´t burn (a lot of) muscles, when you´re running at a moderate pace and not for too long distances. I know a lot of bodybuilders who run 3–5 times a week, at a pace of 5:30–7:00 (per kilometre). Even while their bulking! I do the same when it´s time to get shredded. You just really need to keep it moderate. Go for 30–45 minute runs, at a particular low pace for 2–4 times a week. Your whole body is going to benefit from it. Even your upper body muscles. The cardiovascular aspect helps to ensure a better supply of blood for your entire body. This might increase your overall strength and that again might lead to overall muscle gain.So don´t get on the wrong track to think, that running burns your muscles. Of course it can. But that is mostly going to happen, when you cut off to much of your calories or burn too many of them due to too much endurance running.Running can also benefit the growth of slow twitch fibres in your legs. Depending on your specific amount of slow twitch fibres in your body, your legs for example can even get bigger. Have you ever seen the legs of a cyclist? I know, the comparison isn´t the best. I only want to show you, that cardio doesn´t ultimately kill your muscles. Conclusion:When done right, you won´t burn (a lot of) muscles.Go for a low pace. (5–7 kilometres per minute)Go for a short distance (maximum of 10 kilometres, but you should prefer the 4–7 kilometres distance)Don´t cut your calories since you add running. (You could also increase them by a bit - talking about clean nutrition)

What does it mean when they say you have a good body cut?

It means how sculpted you are. as in your body fat is low and you are ripped.

In women, I personally think that people like Angela Basset and Pink take it too far. No one really likes to look at women that actually look like a Boris girl. (Fantasy painter)

I think stomachs like Pink's on a woman are gross and should not be either shown off, or displayed in any way. She looks like a white Deangelo (male singer) and that is NOT sexy!

Woman should be fit and lean but soft and curvy too. Leave the marble statues to Michangelo and let girls be girls.

and I have been known to check out a woman or two in my day too...

Can you take Body Modification too far?

I think it all depends on the individual. I do not personally agree with the while tongue splitting, voluntary amputation, ect, but to each their own.

I have a friend that got back from Iraq about 2 years ago. He had PTSD really bad, and as an escape, he went on a tattooing/piercing spree. To the point that he would get 2-3 piercings done, then go to another shop to get tatted the same day. It really scared me and my fiance, and when he got to the point that he wanted to do suspensions, we kinda had to sit down with him, and talk about what his motives were, and what he wanted to get out of doing things like this. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love piercings and tattoos just as much as the next guy, but I felt that he was doing modicications for the wrong reasons. If he actually went through the suspension, botu me and my fiance were going to be there to support him, and to be there to put our own minds at ease, but when we all talked about it, he decided that really his intentions were to inflict pain on himself as punishment.

It is cases like these that make me weary. I mean I pierce for a living, but those people that come in and want an 8 gauge conch piercing, and they have no tattoos, or other piercings, it really makes me wonder.......

I have had friends that have had inplants in their head, and tons of other places, but they were in the industry, and were able to ahow off their mosifications in a safe environment, but I also know an individual that had his nipples and aeroleas removed, and that makes me wonder.

OK, I'll stop now, this is one of my favorite discussions.....

Why does one’s body look fatter in a photo than in the mirror?

This is usually due to the use of a wide angle lens (typical on a smartphone). The image is distorted and in some extreme cases can develop a fisheye effect. See also This Image Shows How Camera Lenses Beautify or Uglify Your Pretty Face for examples.

Why do I look weird far away from my mirror?

my friends locker mirror does that because it's concave (i think thats the word) it caves in very slightly so far away my eyes look close together, my nose looks huge and my hair looks blonder (i assume this is because of the light) and when im up close it shows how i actually look to others and i have dark hair, not close together but not too far away eyes and a normal nose :P

i think it may be due to the way light hits from different angles. i mean when you're far away you may get more light then when you're clsoe up

Why do I look so shapeless in a close mirror, but curvy in a far away one?

In the mirror you see light reflected from your body to the mirror and back. the law of reflection determines the angles the rays make when traveling the round trip from your body to the mirror and back to your eye. When you are far from the mirror the allowable angles are very small and come from nearly the same position on your body. This allows you to see a family sharp image. When you are close, the angles are large and the ones that allow the roundtrip come from areas widely spread over your body. This creates some blurring.
