I called her ugly whenever we got into fights.Back in college, I had a girlfriend whom I did not consider beautiful.I did not like it when she roamed with me on roads or in my college.I did not let her meet me in the college.I did not let her meet any of my friends. Every other friend of mine had a girlfriend who was ' beautiful'.I was embarrassed of her.I called her ugly whenever we got into fights.I broke up with her mainly because of this reason.She came from 25 kms on a bus atleast 5 times to convince me to be with her.She cried over the breakup. Tried knowing about the real reason but i always gave her something other than the truth.I left her with the hope that i will find somebody more 'beautiful'.And I did. I found a girl. Girl who were more beautiful conventionally . Girl who knew what makeup to apply to look more attractive. Girl who knew to play hard to get to be more desirable.After my ego subsided after a month, I felt empty of myself. My life was empty. I lost some friends One thing was missing. The truth was missing. The new girl never told me the truth. There was always games, manipulations (sometimes from my side). She cheated on me and I left her.I felt lonely and cheated.Tried fighting it with alcohol and weed. I did not have any good friends to share real stuff with.Never got into a relationship again.Forward to the last year of college, I Gave up on human relationships.Stopped talking to friends and parents. Spent almost all day after the class in last year of college just sitting blank in my room or sleeping.Considered suicide because of depression. I am fine now.Yesterday,She sent me a text saying " Thanks Madhur. Thanks for leaving me. If you wouldn't have gone, I would not have the one with me."And even now, I felt like I could tell her the truth, Truths About how it was a mistake, Truths about the real reason behind my depression. Truths about a lot of things about me. But i did not. I wished her best of luck and typed "congratulations".I am happy for you. You are beautiful.

A woman came out of her house and saw 3 old men with long white beards sitting in her front yard. She did not recognize them. She said "I don't think I know you, but you must be hungry. Please come in and have something to eat.""Is the man of the house home?", they asked."No", she replied. "He's out.""Then we cannot come in", they replied.In the evening when her husband came home, she told him what had happened."Go tell them I am home and invite them in!"The woman went out and invited the men in"" We do not go into a House together," they replied."Why is that?" she asked.One of the old men explained: "His name is Wealth," he said pointing to one of his friends, and said pointing to another one, "He is Success, and I am Love." Please come in and be our guest."Love got up and started walking toward the house. The other 2 also got up and followed him. Surprised, the lady asked Wealth and Success: "I only invited Love, Why are you coming in?"The old men replied together:"If you had invited Wealth or Success, the other two of us would've stayed out, but since you invited Love, wherever he goes, we go with him. Wherever there is Love, there is also Wealth and Success !!"
