Does a stolen microsoft xbox live card work?
yeah they have to activate it at the register. ask him to let take it and if you see it works youll pay him if not youll give it back... there was that problem where i live people were selling them on craigslist and peopke were buying them and the didnt work... xbox live subsciptions/ points, prepaid cell phone cards, gift cards, visa gift cards all have to be activated at the register.

okay, bob had a friend and his friend gave him 50 xbox live cards(13month) and bob was wondering if he can activate them at any register i.e. safeway or longs drug where bob happen to work at but they don't sell the cards there. can he even activate them at like i dunno home depot? where bob happen to have a friends that work there?

Okay so i recently bought an xbox one s, and when i try to register it at "https://support.xbox.com/en-US/my-accou... and enter the information it says "Registration didn't work We couldn't register this device right now. Try again in a few minutes." It did it when i first bought it and tried, i thought maybe because it was new, so i waited a couple of weeks and it still wont register? am i doing something wrong here?

If you bought a game and it came with a defective code then why not contact EA? It's their screwup, they should fix it.

The first answer makes a good point make sure that you're signing in with the gamertag that you redeemed gold on. If it is right gamertag just for start your Xbox. Sometimes your Xbox console and Xbox Live can fall out of sync and it can't see that you renew your membership. Restarting will fix that.
