Does smoking weed affect asthma?

Smoking anything is dangerous for asthma. Including cannabis. Smoke contains contaminants that causes your airways to constrict and can trigger an asthma attack. However, VAPORIZING might be an excellent treatment for asthma. Cannabis relieves bronchospasms and is a bronchodilator. It’s a medical benefit that I didn’t believe until I experienced it myself.Don’t expect it to become a routine treatment because cannabis causes more side effects than most modern marijuana treatments. But for very resistant asthma cases, we’re seeing cannabis being used as a treatment again.History always knew that weed can benefit the airway. It’s documented that cannabis was used as an asthma treatment in the 1800’s. It’s only since prohibition in 1937 that we lost that so much of that plant knowledge.Still - like all medications, cannabis can cause adverse effects and negative reactions in some people. Only use medical marijuana under the guidance of your licensed health professional.Sweetest regards,Jessie

Has smoking marijuana helped your asthma?

Cannabis is effective in treating asthma, among many other disorders, including respiratory conditions. However, smoking may not be the best method of delivery if you already have a respiratory condition like asthma. Opt for edibles or oils.Asthma is caused by inflammation, which is exacerbated during an asthma attack. Cannabis is widely known for its anti-inflammatory properties, this is just one of the ways that it helps alleviate asthma.Using cannabis for asthma is not uncommon.Historically, it’s been used by the Chinese emperor Shen Nung who is said to have discovered pot’s medicinal benefits as far back as 2700 BC. Even historians discovered that ancient Egyptians used cannabis to treat various conditions including asthma.Even the famous author Marcel Proust, who suffered from chronic asthma, would write letters to his mother discussing his use of cannabis, referring to them as anti-asthma cigarettes, to help alleviate the symptoms.

Can smoking marijuana cause asthma?

Marijuana opens the small capilliaries in the lungs so you can breath better. But it cannot be moldy! A specific strain is grown and I don't know those that can specifically target lungs. Marijuana is a medicinal herb. Joggers, runners, and bicyclist often use marijuana for training to help open their lungs and go the distance. Asthmatics use it too. It has to be Sinsemilla and not moldy. Mold can kill your lungs.

Can you smoke marijuana if you have asthma?

yes you can, it is generally wise to assume not to smoke anything if you have asthma, but it is not going to put you in the way of serious harm to smoke marijuana (or even cigarettes), if anything it will just slightly elevate the symptoms, I smoke tobacco and have asthma, but I have decided the risk of having asthma is not big enough to inhibit me from living my life and deciding to smoke. As for marijuana, it seems that people with asthma report that it is usually a little gentler on them than smoking other things, some people actually claim it helps relieve their asthma, at least in the short term, although I do not know of any scientific studies indicating this is the case, since asthma is a physical disease with noticeable symptoms, I am inclined to believe someone if they say it relieved it, as this is not something that can be mistook easily.

The effects of people with asthma smoking weed?

weed isn't bad for you, but you can overdo anything, even too much water can kill you.

smoking isn't natural and that is what's bad for you, get a vaporizer.

My ex-girlfriends brother had asthma and smokes weed and he's fine and healthy, so it wasn't bad for him. I don't clearly remember but I think he said it did help.

I googled: asthma marijuana. and found this: http://www.rxmarijuana.com/lisa.htm

another testimony that it relieves and prevents asthma, look into more deeply if you're interested it does seem to be beneficial but I'm not doing any research on asthma, because that's not my problem.

I have however thoroughly researched marijuana, and there's nothing wrong with it, even doctors will testify to that, don't listen to any ati-marijuana people they're %100 biased, don't let them get in your head and who cares that they look down on others, for their heads are filled with hearsay. That's ignorance at it's worse, because they believe in their ignorance and condescend others, in turn spreading their ignorant beliefs onto others. Well, the fact that it is illegal works into their favor, but if you research that you will see that it shouldn't be illegal and the only reason it is, is because it was used as a tool of propaganda to win an election for a politician. But like I said, too much of anything is no good, even water can kill you.

keep smokin, seek truth & knowledge, believe in peace & love!

Can smoking marijuana cause an asthma attack?

My friend has pretty bad asthma and I was wondering for his sake, if smoking marijuana could cause a negative reaction and even give him an asthma attack. I would like answers from educated people on this subject and not people telling me why marijuana is bad for you and such.

Will smelling marijuana smoke through a window cause any damage? Any at all?

The two people living in our basement are huge pot heads. In the winter time they smoke in the bathroom and it comes up to our bathroom. I don't let my son near the smell, I turn the fan on and shut the door after pounding on the floor to let them know I'm pissed.

Now that it is summer they smoke outside. Once every two or three weeks we can smell it for 10 or 15 seconds coming up through the window. I just yelled "WHAT IS THAT SMELL?" while replacing a screen a moment ago. I try to scare them.

They have been in denial about what they do for years. They are just burn outs who act like they are perfect people. It's gross/sickening/disgusting and it pisses me off very much, but they can't leave because my 12 year old brother lives here and the woman is his nanny. Her pot smoking doesn't interfere with taking care of him. She just cooks for him and cleans up after him. Plus he has some issues with stability and if she left he would have a break down. It' not my decision to say anything anyway.

Does anyone know if smelling this once in a while could hurt my son? I've heard that cigarette smoke is worse to breathe in. I keep him away from that too, or at least try to. We can smell that from the basement too!!!! Moving is not an option right now because my brother cannot live alone. Any information would be great. Thanks.

Is smoking weed fun for people with asthma?

I have tried tincture and caps which have not helped my pain. I have tried using a water pipe, still no bueno. I am trying to vape with limited success. I still cough most of the time when inhaling but I just got a new vape device which has a voltage regulator on it so the stuff burns a little cooler. I have not tried it yet, but my Dr.s office said that the people with chronic lung conditions do better with it. I am a registered patient. The most efficient and lower cost option is the vape pen. I know there are strains that have benefit for those with asthma and are sold for inhalation in puffer form. But my state isn’t allowing many options yet.Mystabis. A cannabis inaler.Stealth PUFFiT vaporizer mimics asthma inhaler (review)Top Cannabis Strains To Relieve AsthmaI am not a person who is registered to provide recommendations in my state, but I believe that cannabis is a medicine that can give many relief and it is a shame that at this point people are spending high prices for legal cannabis in states where you can’t grow it legally and no edibles are allowed. Considering all the people who are in pain and end up killing themselves due to options after a while and some physicians who recommend will make you go through treatments with higher risk profiles to get it.Some docs will kick you out of their office if medical treatment is the only thing left. They only want to see you while you are paying for their higher cost injections or physical therapy at their company, although There comes a point when patients have gone through all the epidural pain blocks that do any benefit, PT up the whazoo at every place in town, water therapy, traction, electrical stim, trans-cranial stim., ultrasound ASTM., and more, and they still are faced with decades more pain as people are living longer.I have a lovely doc and NP. who is a retired spine surgeon who are very knowledgable and doesn’t charge huge fees to care for you and do the state paperwork. You have access to real people who know your medical issues and physical issues whenever you need them.
