How Far Is Tulsa Oklahoma From Grand Prairie Texas

How long does it take for regular mail to send from Texas to Illinois on an average schedule?

The United States Postal Service (USPS) offers a map for Priority Mail delivery service: "Priority Mail Delivery Map" Let's take Austin, Texas, noted on the map in the darker blue, as our origin. You can see that in the vicinity of Austin, you can count on one-day delivery for priority mail. To most urban and otherwise populated areas around the country, it's two days. To rural areas around the country, it's three days. From Austin to Chicago or the St. Louis area, it could be two days. For a more rural part of Illinois, it could be three.Just click the link above to enter your origin address. Now, this is all for "Priority Mail."Regular first-class mail looks like this: "United States Postal Service: Service Standards Map"To basically anywhere in Illinois from Texas, you're looking at three days.Which then brings up the interesting point of whether it's worth it to pay more for Priority Mail. It should also be noted that these maps aren't guarantees, and they aren't from an omniscient crystal ball. They're estimates. But three days is probably a pretty strong median delivery duration.

How long does it take mail to go from Dallas Texas to Houston TX?

Assuming you choose regular shipping, and the package is shipped before pickup time, I see it make it to Houston (or vice-versa) the following day, regardless of what priority is chosen. If you ship the package after the carrier has picked up for the day, it will be at least two days. There's always the anomalies which kick the days out further, but that depends on what shipping option you choose. Priority overnight is going to make it there next day. So it all comes down to the timing of drop-off which should be as early as possible, or you pay for the up-charge to get it there faster.Oh, and I do live in the DFW area and ship back to Houston frequently. If I want to bypass all of this, I just go Fedex or UPS if it absolutely has to make it overnight. Otherwise, you have to just plan it right but then be flexible for any unintentional hang-ups along the way

How long does it take First-Class Mail to arrive?

I can’t really add anything to the actual process of mailing a letter that the other excellent answers haven’t already covered. But, I will give you a couple of hacks to get your mail to the location faster. This only works if you live near a very large processing facility.I lived in Oviedo, FL but the nearest large processing facility is in Orlando, FL by the airport. If you mail it AT THAT FACILITY, they will sort it and send it out the same day if you meet the cut-off times on the mail box. This will save you the time it would take locally to sort and process it and save 1–2 days in the process.I now live in Nothern Viriginia near Washington DC. There are 2 large facilities near me. Merrifield, VA and Dulles, VA (think airport as in IAD).If I mailed anything at Merrifield, it takes 2–3 days to get to any destination on the East Coast that I have sent things to. If I mail it at the Dulles facility, it cuts that down by 1 day. If I go local, it goes through 2–3 transfers which can add an extra day or two to the process. But, for less than fifty cents, who else is going to take your first class letter ANYWHERE?

How long does it take mail from Bakersfield California to Dallas, Texas?Felicia, thanks for the A2A!I have a sister in Fort Worth, Texas - right next door. Her mail goes through Dallas first. It normally arrives in 2–3 days for a first class letter. I can overnight a letter to her if I want to pay the money. For packages, it depends entirely on how I mail them. 1–2 weeks for a third class package. UPS or FedEx is a little faster, but a little more expensive.Of course, we use email most of the time and that only takes a second or two.

How long does it take for regular mail to send from Minnesota to Texas on an average schedule?

Please don’t ask this question on Quora. Check with your local Post Office or check at USPS.com. There are numerous factors about where you live in Minnesota, what time you mailed it and from what location, where in Texas it is going (it is a very large state. Personally, as someone with 40 years of experience in the USPS, I would have to talk to you to get more information in order to answer this type of question. Check the answers already given on these types of questions and you’ll find there is a range because they don’t have enough information to give you any specific answer. Again, check with your local Post Office.

How long will mail take to arrive if it was sent out on Monday from Kansas?

Arrive where? When was it sent? What time of day? Where in Kansas? How was it sent? All these factors affect delivery time. And even if all are known, most of the time it’s impossible to say exactly when a piece of mail will arrive. The post office strives to deliver regular mail within 2–3 days. But many factors can delay (or speed) that time. Unless you are paying (a lot, by the way) for guaranteed delivery, you’re just not going to be able to calculate an exact delivery date.I wish people would stop asking questions like this. You’d think by now they’d have figured it out that it’s just not predictable.
