All refusals are being recorded on Schengen Information System & Visa Information System.When you apply next time, They will check your refusal decision but they will not decide your current Visa issuance based on the previous refusal unless few circumstance, for example, if you are the threat to national security Or violator of immigration law.Once your Visa is refused, You have right to appeal against their decision within 14 days and you may apply again for Visa anytime
It is highly unlikely to deny a tourist visa by any consulate.Since you spend considerable amount of time and money for application. If anything, the consulate will ask for more documents or clarification.NO they do not stamp anything on your passport incase of denial. The consulate will give a letter along with your returned passport and documents explaining the refusal and the grounds.In very rare occasions the consulate refuse tourist visa . In case of if you had been deported earlier by any country (the stamp of deportation will be on your passport), Criminal conviction, If the conutry suspects that your intention is not for tourist purpose. Like if you are planning to work instead of being a tourist. Possible Schengen Visa Rejection?
Hello! I am an international student in the UK who has already applied for the Spanish Schengen visa. I am unsure of 2 things which could possibly make the spanish consulate refuse my visa. Please advise if you believe its a strong enough case for them to reject me. 1)The letter from my university(one of world's best) was not hand-signed. It was however pre-signed(printed), on the university's headed paper and stamped using the university's seal. 2)Using NATWEST, I did not present a stamped bank statement('Not in Natwest's policy to stamp statements). However I did get them to issue me a signed bank letter stating my statement was printed by the bank. What you do guys think? Should I worry about this? Thank you!
A2A.No.Though each Schengen state knows about the visa rejection, each time your visa application is viewed as a fresh application.When your visa is rejected there is a reason/s for the rejection.When you apply again you have to eradicate that reason which have caused the rejection and mention this in your cover letter.When you apply again, clearly state that you had applied for the Schengen visa on such a date (if you remember), the file number and the reason for rejection, and how you have worked towards solving that reason.You stand a fair chance to get the visa.Good luck.
This is the procedure me and my family followed when we were refused FAMILY REUNION VISA:After you get the letter of refusal from the consulate (I had applied at Delhi French Consulate) you need to collect all the documents that had been used in the visa application and also any additional document you would like to provide (usually related to your visa refusal).Also write an appeal letter to explain why you thought the visa refusal decision was incorrect and explain it thoroughly.After the collection of all the documents you need to post them to the address provided to you by the french consulate on the bottom of your refusal letter. It should be a registered mail or a trustworthy courier service. (My mother lives in France so she was the one that posted all the documents to the address). How to appeal a visa refusalNow when they receive the letter and all the documents and if your appeal is legitimate they will send a letter to you on the given address that you provided in the appeal letter. (Our letter took about a month to get back to us your may take more time depending in the region you live so don’t worry. In most of the cases they will accept you appeal).Now on the date that they receive your letter your time starts and now it will take three months from there on. the first month you will receive a letter that your appeal has been accepted as mentioned above and will give you a case number.During the second month of the 3 month span they will not be sending any letter and your file will be put on hold. You can send more documents if you want in this 1 month span.Now during the 3rd month you will receive a letter from the office that the decision has been reversed and same has been notified to the embassy. It would be wise to wait one more month if you don’t receive your letter and if you don’t then reapply .And there you go that’s the whole process of a France visa appeal and it is quite neat actually and worth a shot if you have no travel plans within 3 months.Now this is our 3rd month going on and we have already received our acceptance letter now we are awaiting our decision.They got our letter on 26th of September and we received our acceptance letter on 20th of October.
It’s a long procedure. If your visa is refused they must have given a letter of refusal giving the reason of refusal. Below that there is explanation of incase you want to appeal.But frankly speaking there is nonpoint appealing, nothing will happen and it’s a long procedure may take 3 months.Best is if you really think that you have a strong financial and professional status and you deserved to be granted a visa. And if you think there is some genuine misunderstanding in assessing your application.Before reapplying check if you have not made a mistake yourself in documentation.Reapply - write a very strong letter saying that you think there is some misunderstanding in refusing your visa , ( write details about your job , salary / bank balance , house worth , any other property worth , fixed deposits worth , and highlight the income tax return you are file from last 3 years. Give one year bank statement and highlight it. The whole story has to be on how financially stable you are. And then write that you can afford the trip and you intention are clean that you will come back.In the end demand for a personal visa councillor interview. By writing that you would prefer that if you could be given a chance for personal interview to explain your status with proofs.Make a complete wealth management report.
