No; he’s way too conventionally good-looking.The joke that sets the tone for GotG is when Quill is taken aback that no one’s heard of Star Lord, the name he’s clearly given himself. That requires a combination of ego inflation and initial self-doubt that a matinee idol like Newman would have a hard time pulling off. We wouldn’t believe that he would have given himself the somewhat silly name, or that (if someone else had named him) that no one had heard of him. It wouldn’t be Newman’s fault as an actor; he’s just too much of a Movie Star to make that credible.Chris Pratt is not a conventional movie star; he’s a phenomenon. He’s good-looking enough to be a bit of a sex symbol, he is completely believable as an action hero, and yet somehow he projects an everyday, ordinary-guy vibe that makes him very easy to identify with. The heroics are all the more exciting coming from a guy who seems so initially unprepossessing.One way of thinking of Pratt is as a further extension of the hero type invented by Bruce Willis. The further back you go in movie history, the more the heroes tend to be suave and charming.

SAMSUNG GALAXY J7So I had this device for a while a couple of days back and I would recommend the same to anyone who is looking for a device with a budget (sub-15K) and is skeptical about leaving the BRAND boundary, as I call it. Xiaomi and OnePlus has great devices for the same price but they aren't capable of delivering the same consumer support as Samsung can. I will break my review down to different sections:DISPLAYThe display is amazing, 5.5 Inch SUPERAMOLED with great amazing angles and the best part is that the colours didn't seemed oversaturated and overwhelming. Of course there is a bezel at this price, which is not at all thin but, Display is one of the best features of the device.PROCESSING POWERWith 1.5GB RAM and a Exynos 7580 Processor, device somewhat lags behind from the competition. Lenovo's K3 Note performed better in the benchmarking tests, but is in no way a competitor ( I have reviewed both devices). Sometimes the numbers say just a part of the story, so don't always look at the spec sheet instead try getting a review from someone who is actually using the device to know the actual thing about it. Given the whole 1980s essence of both Guardians of the Galaxy movies in its design and particularly in Peter Quill himself, I feel that having Kurt Russell as Peter’s father is a great idea. Other people may not even seem to care or think much about who is cast in a certain role, but I do and in this case for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, the casting is quite fantastic. Here’s why:Peter Quill is a son of the 1980s as proven with the first film. His mother died in 1988 when he was only a young boy. The only strong memory that keeps the innocent hero connected to his mother and the era after leaving Earth is the walkman and both Awesome Mixtapes that held the music Meredith Quill loved. She passed that music onto Star-Lord, which he listens to on a walkman, a popular and portable product of the 1980s. So, when we meet him as a grown man traversing the stars, he stays connected to his mother through that walkman and ultimately, stays very much connected to anything from his mother’s era. Besides the walkman, that includes Footloose, Knight Rider, Kevin Bacon, David Hasselhoff, Pac-Man, etc. Those are all entertainment treasures of the 1980s.So given the examples from that era, who better than to reveal an actor with such prominent star power and seasoned acting ability from the 1980s? That’s Kurt Russell, famous for Escape from New York, The Thing, and Big Trouble in Little China just to name a few. The charismatic Peter Quill looks very fondly at charismatic actors who’ve had their heyday during that time period, so what better than to have a charismatic 1980s actor as his father? Heck, with knowing Kevin Bacon and David Hasselhoff, even Chris Pratt wanted Peter Quill to acknowledge Kurt Russell! Chris Pratt Had a Very Bad Idea for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.Additionally, Sylvester Stallone plays Starhawk, leader of the very first Guardians of the Galaxy.
