How Is My Drawing .is It Any Good

Poll: Is my drawing good?

Not bad. Not bad at all my wiggie wigga.

Is my drawing good ?..?

Thanks a lot. I like your drawing. So i think your drawing is good. Its shadow is light. Its drawing waves wind is light. In this picture, the man looks sad.

Are these drawings good?

Yes, they are quite good and please continue to create them. Add to your understanding of color, composition and material handling some extra time in learning more anatomy (one can never stop learning more about anatomy) and perspective (likewise) and you will get great.Instagram is a great tool to publish your works and a boost for feedback. Get inspired by your followers that are on the same journey as yourself to find a way of expression. Maybe you also want to try Sktchy? This is an social app to draw portaits of people, real fun! Some things you might to consider in your portaits. I see something that I see in a lot in portraits created by others and myself. I call this the left-face-syndrome. Probably you are righthanded and can draw the right part of a face very well, but the left part seems a bit off. When you are drawing it is very hard to notice these mistakes, certainly when your eyes aren't trained to see it (this has to do how our brain processes information). But, it gives an unbalanced look in the drawing. Try in you next drawing to draw the left part a tiny bit wider than your natural feeling. You need to learn where you need to compensate for your own systematic mistakes. All artists do this. When you have a photo, make a photocopy and try to make your drawing as big as the original. Place your drawing and the photocopy against a window and look where your systematic mistakes are. Don't copy the photo! Draw, and learn afterwards where it went wrong and remember that for your next drawing. Build up your catalog of compensations. Try it, it only needs a few rounds and your results will improve greatly.Second, when you draw with a photo as reference, try to find very good images. Many amateur snapshots are taken too close, you get all kinds of weird lens effects. Try to remember that a camera has trouble to register depth. You, as an artist, need to compensate for that too. You need to draw thinking in 3D shapes and not try to 100% copy the image (which makes your drawings flat).

Anyway, keep working at it! You're doing wayyyy better then I was at age 13 (I'm 15 now) But It's gotten easier. have you heard of Mark Crilley? Try him, he helped me A LOT.

And by the way,
Your cloth texture is very well done. I haven't quite mastered getting the lines exactly right for cloths yet ^ ^"

Be honest , is my drawing good?!?

I wouldn't say it's good but I wouldn't say it's bad either.

If you want my honest opinion, what I think is that you need more practice but this is also what every person that draw needs or in fact, anyone that wishes to become excellent at something.

The picture showed that it's still a little rough. It's at a good level for someone who has drawn continuously for about 2 years. I don't want to measure by age cause it really depends on how long you've drawn.

A lot of people start drawing from anime, and I love anime and manga but from what I've heard and seen, people who focus too much on fanart which may cause a bad foundation if you didnt learn it properly.

I suggest watching videos that teaches the basics and try to draw your own characters. Creating your own characters are fun :)

Keep up the good work though!

Looks like you have a hand for drawing.

Is my drawing any good? It took me 5 hours.?

It is expressive, but there are some obvious errors, the nose is in the wrong position for the eyes – if you rotated it and the mouth about the middle of the eyes from the 6 o'clock position to nearer 5 o'clock it would improve, you also would not see the nostrils because you are looking down on the features, you should be able to see where they flare out but not the openings. Because the light is coming from above and right the shadow on the lips would make the top lip darker and the bottom lighter with another shadow under it.

How do I know my drawing is good enough?

That would depend your goals and the drawings purpose. For your personal pleasure - when you are satisfied. As an illustrator (print or web) - when you can earn a commission and successfully complete the project and get paid!As a fine artist - depends on your stage but examples might be when you can graduate Art School, when you can get accepted into an MA or MFA program, when you get accepted into a juried art exhibit or your first gallery or sell your first serious piece.
