How Is Non-nyc Responders Seek Money Relevant To History

What are some slang terms used among police officers?

The most derogatory terms for the bad guys and citizens who are just pains in the rectum:A.H. = Adam Henry (A-dam H-enry) If you don’t get it…..sometimes you will hear it as “Jack Hole”…..now what starts with an “A” that ends with HOLE ?RICHARD CRANIUM= What starts with a “D” and is a nickname for Richard ? What is the non-medical layman’s term for the Cranium ? Do these clues HEAD you in the right direction ?

Do Presidents usually give money out of their personal accounts to parents of fallen solders like Donald Trump?

Whenever something happens that makes Trump look bad, he tweets “Look! Squirrel! and the media and his followers immediately go looking for the squirrel.Trump’s claim that he’d given money to a dead solder’s family is just such a squirrel—and a fake squirrel at that, since he hadn’t given any money to any soldier ever. The real thing Trump was trying to avoid with the squirrel ploy was the fact that he’d called a soldier’s grieving widow and made her cry with his callousness. It turns out BTW that he never called—or falsely promised money to—the family of a soldier killed in Syria earlier this year. Perhaps, in retrospect, that family was lucky.Plus when he talked about calling the soldier’s widow, he did something unique in American history: he used the occasion to take potshots at opponents, falsely accusing President Obama of not calling soldiers’ families—a lie that was immediately factchecked. Every other President has called or written dead soldiers’ survivors without standing on the solder’s corpse (metaphorically speaking) to make a campaign speech. He did the same thing when he visited the CIA, stood in front of their wall of honor, with stars commemorating CIA officers who’ve died in the line of duty—and made a harsh campaign speech without acknowledging the wall behind him and its meaning. So whenever a Trump follower posts a question like this on Quora, remember that it’s a “Look! Squirrel!” manuver—and look where Trump is trying to keep you from looking at.Note that Trump displays all the symptoms of situational narcissism—an involvement with oneself so overwhelming that there isn’t any room left for caring about others (at least beyond his current immediate family). We’ve had some pretty lousy Presidents before and at least one who was as crooked, but I don’t think we’ve ever had one who was a full-blown narcissist. That’s a first. The only thing that keeps me from wanting his Cabinet to invoke Amendment 25 and remove him is the prospect of him being replaced by President “Koch Brothers.”

How common is child kidnapping in the US? Is there paranoia among parents in the US, or are there lots of people looking for kids to attack?

I don’t think kidnapping is a huge thing here. That sorta implies that a child is taken away and presumably returned for a ransom. A very rich or prominent person would be at greater risk that the average person. But it seems like the media lumps kidnapping and abduction under the same umbrella so just ignore my distinction.Child abductions are more common. Sometimes it’s an estranged parent, other times it’s a very sick individual taking a child for purely monstrous reasons. For the most part the risk is low and chances are good that this will never happen to most of us. We do educate our children, but it’s really hard for children to identify ill intent. To them, someone with a smiling face isn’t a bad guy. The bad guys on TV are usually portrayed with a sinister laugh, rubbing their hands back and forth in anticipation, against a soundtrack of violins and trills. These videos were scary to watch..National Child Kidnapping Facts99.8% of the children who go missing do come home.Nearly 90% of missing children have simply misunderstood directions or miscommunicated their plans, are lost, or have run away.9% are kidnapped by a family member in a custody dispute.3% are abducted by non-family members, usually during the commission of a crime such as robbery or sexual assault. The kidnapper is often someone the child knows.Only about 100 children (a fraction of 1%) are kidnapped each year in the stereotypical stranger abductions you hear about in the news.About half of these 100 children come home..

Would tattooing blood type and medical info on my wrists be useful for paramedics if I was in an accident, or not?

Tattooing seems a bit too drastic. In my 9 years as a paramedic in NYC I don’t think i’ve ever bothered to read someone’s tattoo. Especially on someones wrist. 99.9% of the time we dont pay any attention to tattoos. We do go through 100% of the unconscious patient’s pockets to find an ID. So if you ever become unconscious and EMS is called chances are an EMT or a Police Officer will go through your pockets looking for an ID card. If a cop finds something medically relevant in your wallet or handbag etc they will show it to us.My advise would be to write your Name, Date of birth, Address, Emergency Contact, Past Medical history, Allergies, medications and other medically relevant information [like blood type] on a sturdy flash card [ideally laminated] and keep it in your wallet/handbag/purse etc. You’d be surprised how much information you can squeeze into a business card size [on both sides]. Put a big red cross on the card so it stands out. You can type all of this on a piece of paper and get it laminated for less that $3. Im assuming tattooing all of this will cost a lot more.I know there is a new trend in people tattooing their dog tag or “Do Not Resuscitate” on their chests etc. It is cool. But in the medical community its all cosmetic and holds no value. No ER doctor is going to look at your tattoo and order that blood for transfusion. I donated blood at two different blood banks in NYC. They gave me two different blood type. If a blood bank can make a mistake how can you be certain that your source told you the correct blood type. In an emergency everyone gets type O negative. If its not the hospital is going to run a type and cross check before they will give you some blood. So spend the money on a really cool tattoo.Good Luck.
