How Long After Purchase Do I Have To Return An Rv And Get My Deposit Back

What are some tips and tricks for preparing an RV for Burning Man?

I see people every year with taped up windows, mylar coverings, et cetera. Truth be told I’ve been to BM in RV’s every year I’ve went and the best thing to do?Virtually nothing except the same normal maintenance you’d do on a trip.If you are asking for dust avoidance strategies, give up. There is nothing you can do to keep the dust out. I mean, the obvious of course, like to never open the windows.…But taping them shut, et cetera…. An effort in futility. Here are some simple tips that are no brainers that may come in handy:Never use a retractable awning. EVER. Bring an umbrella if you really want to hang out but then again, your RV should really just be a place of rest and perhaps to change clothing when the sun sets.Make sure your water tanks are full and grey/black tanks empty. The biggest benefit of an RV is having your own shower. Use portopotties whenever possible. A full blackwater tank is no fun.For your showers, have a body lufa, as you’ll get about a 3–4 gallon shower. Don’t waste water, the last thing you want is to not be able to shower while you’re leaving the event.Double check your batteries… Then double check them again. Bring cables just in case.Run your generator 2–3 times before coming… Then run it again. If its particularly exposed, perhaps get a pre-air filter. My generator clogged up one year. Was a bummer but we camp with a group of engineers so one of them figured it out for me.Get the biggest floor rug that will fit. That is the only viable dust avoidance strategy besides not going in and out all the time. All that and don’t let your hippie friends shame you into not bringing an RV. The “burnier than thou” folk can shame away, some people define “radical self reliance” differently than others. :)

If I signed the contract for a new car, but never took possession of the car, can I cancel the deal?

I made the deal at 11.30 pm at night as th dealer was not allowing any other way. I was unsure but he convinced me otherwise. I signed the deal, paid deposit money, left without the possession of the car and without any insurance papers. After reaching home I realised what I had done, I stopped the check first thing in morning and called the finance manager of the dealer. But he didn't pick up the phone, so I left voice mail. Further I mailed and faxed the letter saying I am cancelling the deal.

Am I still tied to the contract that I was really pressured to sign? It was the next day at morning around 8.15 am when I called them up and I have stopped the payment but I worry they could try to force me to stick with the deal. I never test drove the car because it was brand new and just packed. They of course told me that they would deliver the car at my conveinence. I was supposed to give my electricity bill and insurance papers when they would do the delivery. I fell for it. What is their recourse against me. I have my check. I never drove the car. Can they still try to charge my account or sue for the down payment?
Will it affect my credit history, as I had signed the loan papers with them?

Can I trade my car for another one just like it, only different color?

If your concern is the outside paint, check to see how much a paint shop would charge you to change colors(Don't be too cheap), If it is overall paint scheme, go to a detail shop and let them know your dilemma, They will advise you the best way to go and it might be a different car or not. With this info you will be able to make the right decision.

Will Walmart exchange a bad car battery without a receipt?

If it is an EverStart battery, which is pretty much a Walmart brand, then they will honor the warranty length which is stated on the battery itself. If you are returning it to the same store it was purchased at, and you can give them the date of when it was purchased, they can look up your receipt. Additionally the serial number may aid them in finding the purchase date.If it’s not a battery sold at Walmart, you have no receipt and they cannot determine how old it is, likely they will not exchange it.You can however apply the old battery, regardless of age, brand etc. towards the core charge (about $12) that comes with buying a battery. (Core charge deals with toxic waste disposal from the acid and lead core)

For the failed transaction and money debited case, money will be reversed from the bank's end. It's called as server issue, it's like money is debited from your account but it's not credited to the seller account. The bank from which you have made payment is responsible and they will reverse your money back to your account.Your bank will investigate the transaction details, If really your payment is failed and money is debited, they will definitely help you.Your bank will take from some hours up to 15 days or even more time to reverse money back to your account.Contact the bank manager regarding issue. If in case you didn't get money back in your account kindly write a letter explaining your failed transaction to your respective bank manager, he will raise a complaint regarding your payment after some 1 to 15 days your money will be credited back.

What happens if you get pulled over with expired registration in California?

You will get a minimum of $200 ticket for driving with an expired registration. A lot of it depends on how long your car registration is past its due date. If your vehicle has an expired registration for less than 6 months, it is considered a non moving violation but if it has a registration that has expired for more than 6 months, it is considered a moving violation and will add up your points on your DL ( Drivers license) and your insurance rates will go up.Your license plate can be suspended and you will be asked to renew your registration failing which you have to return your license plates to your local DMV .You would have the option to return the plates or pay up the penalty . Remember that vehicle registration and vehicle inspections are completely separate things. Many people forget it!. Some think they are done once they do their vehicle inspection and forget about the registration. You can also be pulled over ( although you will not be given a ticket) if you have expired registration stickers at the back of your car and not the new one. In the state of PA, they have done away with stickers and want you to keep your registration proof inside your glove compartment now.

What is a reverse ATM withdrawal?

Its simple ! when you withdraw cash from an ATM Machine it works like a robot. For instance you want to withdraw 50 bucks the machine works to deliver you the sum but at the same time due to some link down issue or any reason the said transaction could not be fulfilled and the cash is retracted back by the machine this is called an ATM reversal. All that happens in a couple of seconds and we don’t realize. When you see your account statement you tally that particular transaction, you might have seen in the nerratives it must have been written reverse entry or something like that. That means the moment your account was debited at the same time it was also credited by a reversal entry just because of some issues with the ATM Machine. It is all normal.

Can I cancel the optional packages (perma plate... etc) of my new car purchase?

Whether you have any legal recourse to amend the sales agreement is entirely dependent upon the state where the transaction occurred. Some states allow a "cooling off" period, while some states treat the vehicle and any accessories as entirely different items, with vehicle purchase laws applying only to the vehicle itself.

However, there should be no reason why any reputable dealership wouldn't allow you to cancel any item that's typically installed at the dealer (called a "DIO" or dealer installed option), like "perma plate" or Lojack, up to the very second they're installed (unless they had to order the parts and materials to do so). The only obstacle is the dealer's reluctance to redo paperwork and forego the additional profit (which can sometimes be as much as the profit they make on the vehicle itself).

One point of leverage you have is the rating you give the dealer in response to the CSI survey (customer service index) you will receive from the manufacturer. These are VERY important to dealers and can affect many things from additional bonuses they receive for serving customers well to whether or not they are eligible to become "premier" dealerships with access to better inventory selection or even the option to continue operating their dealership in the future. Letting the dealer know you will let their response reflect in how you rate them can go a long way toward persuading them.

The only scenario in which you'd be totally out of luck is if the items have already been installed (either at the factory or the dealership). If so, you'd not only have a legal obligation to pay for them, you'd have an ethical one too, no matter how aggressively they may have been "sold" to you, provided they weren't outright misrepresented. Otherwise, nothing should prevent the dealership from either refunding your money for those items or simply writing you a check for the difference.

Best of luck. I hope this helps.
