I am really not sure, You bring up MJ, well if you did not know but MJ had a major injury his second or third year in the NBA and MJ missed most of the seaon and came back and management did not want him to come back but he did. I bring this up because it shows you the difference between MJ and Rose. Now I do understand a player not wanting to to miss another season because of reinjuring themselves but if that is the case then Rose should take another year off just to be absolutely sure. Now that I said all that, Rose had a fair amount of injury during his short NBa career and perhaps this is the true reason why he decided to not play to make sure his body is fully healed but what I do not like about all of that is that fans pay money to see him, he is getting paid mucho money to play and the team wants to win a championship and I do not see them winning this year anyway, i do think they are close to a championship and Rose in no way help them this year. So I kinda lost a little respect because at the end of the day, he was cleared to play, he is employed to play basketball and fans pay their hard earn money to see a good product on the floor and the Bulls played well without Rose, but the product is better with him. I deep down believe one of the reason why Rose did not play this year has something to do with them playing the Heat. Rose against Lebron. Rose while playing against Lebron it being with the Heat or the Cavs have not beat Lebron and I think in the back of his mind he did not want to come back and have to face the Heat and lose.

He'll be good enough to be an all star but not good enough to be an MVP player. Does anyone think that Brandon Jennings will be the best point guard in the next upcoming years?
We just don't know enough about Jennings yet. He scored 55 points, but it was against the Warriors, and they were giving him pretty wide open jumpers. He certainly got hot, but the way the defense was, it was almost like shooting warm up shots (I watched the game). As for Chris Paul comparisons, Jennings has a whole lot to learn before he can be in that conversation. Paul is one of the best, if not the best passer in the league, and he can run a team. Jennings has had some nice scoring games, on a team where he has been given free reign to jack up as many shots as he wants, but there are things he doesn't know how to do yet. He could end up being great, but it's way too early to be having conversations like that.

Well the answer to your question is injuries. Clearly he is injury prone. I'm not saying he will get injured, but that's the main obstacle isn't it. He was really good yesterday, but I don't think one good game against a .500 team is enough to know if his team's good enough to win the championship. I don't think they are, they have a chance of winning the east but they haven't played nearly as well the Warriors or the Spurs or several other western conference teams. I think Derrick Rose's big game is a good sign for the future, but I wouldn't go betting on the bulls to win this year. Be happy that he's back and healthy and can hopefully win a championship in the coming years.
