How Long Before I Retry To Stretch My Ear

How long should i wait between ear stretching?

When there is no pain, swelling, redness of any kind, and the jewelry starts to feel a little loose. The amount of time is different for everyone. At the tiny sizes you're at, the wait is much less than at bigger sizes. 4-6 weeks is likely longer than necessary to go from 12 to 10g. However, 4 days is likely a little to short for anybody. Wait at least a week.

How long do I have to wait to get my nose re-pierced? It fell out and I really want to get it done again.

This happened to me. You have to wait several weeks.I’ve had my septum pierced twice. A week at the first piercing, the little keeper jewellery fell out, while I was in the shower. I didn’t realise at first. Several hours later, I realised what had happened. I called my piercer who said there was nothing I could do. The piercing hole closes quickly. So I waited several weeks. This allows time for the piercing to properly close and heal. While septum skin tissue is healing, it’s not recommend to have that place re-pierced.After several weeks of waiting, I had my septum re-pierced. This time around, I was more careful. I had the septum piercing stretched up a gauge size. And I’ve happily had my septum piercing since 2014.

Slight bleeding stretching to an 8G?

The other answers here besides the last are very misinformed and wrong on all accounts of stretching your lobes. Take them out (which you have, good!), now, downsize back to a 10g, and use sea salt soaks to let the fistula heal.. if you do not do this you could have serious issues later on with your ears including blowouts, catbutt (puckered ugly ears) or the inability for it to ever shrink down to the next size, or lose the ability to stretch correctly up even further if you wish to. Just because you don't have a blow out now, does not mean it will not happen later.. all of my blowouts (2 of them) happened after stretching almost a week or two later. Your ears will be fine if you listen and take those out, wait about 3-4 weeks, even longer if you wish and then try to stretch up again.

Just keep up with sea salt soaks, relax your ears and let them heal, it will take some time.. be patient.. good ears take patience :) Good luck, and happy stretching!

How to convince my parents to let me have a piercing.?

Eh, you're 16.
Of course your parent won't let you have an piercing.
Anyway, this what I had done to get my first lip ring when I was 15.
-Ask permission
-They scream/yell "NO!"
-Ask "Why not?"
-Beg precisely in a concern mature way saying
"Mom, Dad, I'm 16. I'm mature enough to get my SEPTUM pierce, I've
done everything you ask me to do. Made good grades, I even did all the chorse like you wanted me to. I about to be 17 in a few month (or something) Then I'll be 18. Then 19 then 20. So on, Why not have my nose (septum) pierced? It's the only thing I can ever ask for..."
-They say "It wont look good on you..and i don't like it."
-Keep bringing up your good behavior memories
-Talk to them about you growing up and thinking about moving away--so forth.
That's what I did when I was 15 (to my mom and she let me get SNAKBITES!)
Ahahaha, I'm 19 now.

Should I stop using acrylic tapers?

I assume you have gauged ears but you should not use tapers as ear rings because they are known to pretty much dissolve your earlobe. If you wear them and stretch later down the road it could split your ear due to wearing tapers. I personally would not wear them. Bleeding is typically not a good sign.

Is gauging your ears SUPPOSED to hurt?

I've had normal ear piercings in for 5 years now and I decided I wanted to start the gauging process. I went from normal piercing size to 14g. Putting them in wasn't that difficult but after a day of wearing them I took them out when I went to bed. When I tried puting them back in it was very painful. Should I wait longer and retry? Did I skip a size?
