How Long Do I Need To Wait To Dye My Hair Again Using At-home Kit Both Times

How long should I wait before bleaching my hair again?

Since I have no idea the condition of your hair, I can't answer that exactly. Technically, you can bleach your hair more than once in a day. It's not something I would really recommend to someone doing their hair at home. Only because I would feel terrible if they fried their hair and it became mushy or broke off.If you're just going to do this at home, and I can't talk you into seeing your stylist, please be careful. Watch your hair. Don't just throw in the bleach and watch an episode of Bob’s Burgers. After the initial bleach, wash and condition the hair. Towel dry it gently, don't rub the towel all over the hair, wrap the towel around the hair and squeeze. You don't want to stress the hair more. Examine the color and the integrity of your orange-blonde color. Is it light enough that hair color will be able to do the rest? If yes, do that.Side note: maybe don't just buy a box color. Go to your local beauty supply and have them help you pick out a color and developer. Box color tends to have the strongest level developer and you most likely won't need that.If you will need to bleach again, you must pay attention to your hair. You don't want to end up with cotton candy mush for hair. Hopefully one application of bleach will be enough though. The less stress you put on your hair the better it will be.

How long do I need to wait to dye my hair again (using at-home kit both times)?

I have dark brown hair and I'm trying to dye it a golden blonde. I went with a dark blonde color the first time around but virtually no change in my hair color. How long should I wait to dye my hair again?

How long should I wait after dying my hair to dye it again?

Any stylist will tell you to wait AT LEAST 4 weeks. Coloring your hair whether it has ammonia or not, is very tough on your hair, waiting the 4 weeks gives your hair (and scalp) time to recover.

If you are going darker you may be able to dye it a little more often...like after 3 weeks.
If you are going lighter wait at least 4 weeks. 6 weeks would be best if you are going lighter. The chemicals that lighten the hair are much more harsh and damaging so it takes your hair longer to recover.

I used to be blonde and started going darker and my stylist said the soonest to do it again would be 3 weeks, but 4 would be best to give my hair time to adjust and recover. When I started going back to blonde a few years later she told me to wait at least 6 weeks because of how harsh the chemicals are when you go lighter. You can really destroy your hair doing it too often. ESPECIALLY if you use "at home" kits which are all pretty tough on your hair and scalp.

Bottom line...
if you go to a stylist...
Darker---wait 3 to 4 weeks
Lighter---wait 4-6 weeks

Any at home kit---wait 4-6 weeks

How long should i wait until i can dye my hair (at home) again?

I really wouldn't suggest it. I 've done this for some filimg in hich my char changed hair colours, fr some reason to complicated, and my hair was recked for weeks after only two hair colour changes. I'm nautarly blond as well. Dying your hair may be fine a couple of times in one week, just don't do it too often, and bleaching will destory your hair (not literaly) if you do it too much ( three times a month). Highlights SHOULD be ok.

well that was long.

Is it safe to dye my hair again with Splat Hair Color?

I dyed a bit of my hair on Saturday, and then again on Sunday to make it more vibrant. Unfortunately, I stayed in the hot shower too long last night, and I want to dye it again. I intend to use cold water on my hair and not wash it as often once I redye, but how long do I have to wait before I can dye it again? I haven't used bleach, so it's not as damaged, and before last week, I hadn't dyed it since over the summer. I can't find anything on the box, directions, or website about how often you can use Splat dye. It's Pink Fetish, and it's about 6 months old (the website says it will keep for a year).
Does anybody have any experience? Thank you!

How long does it take to dye your hair?

Depending upon the pigment of the hair or whether there is 50% of grey or more are really going to be huge factors. Then, you need to consider your desired outcome…grey coverage will take 40–45 minutes, start your timer after the application is fully applied. Less than 50% grey is 30 minutes from application. Now, if you are considering hair of different tones, what I mean by this is your roots being grown out to your natural color to your ends being a darker color from previous color is a big factor. If you end up applying color throughout, you will not achieve an even tonality all over. You would have to consult with a professional to achieve even tonality because no matter what color is being used(professional/box) COLOR WILL NOT LIFT COLOR! Your stylist will consult with you on how far you will need to lift your ends to make an equivalent color throughout your whole head. Please be honest on how much box color or professional color used no matter how “long” it'd been since your last go around with ANY COLOR! It will make your experience and our work soooo much easier! We are taught different preventative measures to take and suggest before we end up doubling or tripling your bill as an end result of something you may have omitted saying in the beginning of the consult…it will also help us to keep and maintain the integrity of your hair!

How to Re-Dye Hair after Using ColorFix?

So, I've dyed my hair black using Clairol's blue-black dye about three or four times before I grew tired of it and decided on another color. I wasn't sure if I wanted brown or red, but I figured the first priority was to get rid of the black. I'm not keen on bleach because my hair doesn't take to product that well sometimes; it's a bit tempermental, and I didn't want to fry my hair. So, after some extensive research, I used One 'n Only ColorFix from Sally's. It worked splendidly, and I really liked the ginger-ish color it came out as. I wanted it to be an actual auburn color though, so I tried dying it the medium auburn from Natural Instincts after giving my hair a week to oxidate and heal (I skipped step 3). I applied the dye after using a neutral protein filler and waiting for my hair to air dry. After all that was said and done, unfortunately, it came out a black-ish color with violet when seen in sunlight. I used ColorFix again, but I'm worried about dying it again. I want to go a light auburn, sort of a natural ginger color. I just don't want to have to strip it again. I will if I have to. Here's my question, does anyone know how to re-dye your hair after using ColorFix that won't involve it going a shade too close to black? I know some dyes go on darker, but I'm not too sure on which ones those are. Thank you for you assistance in advance. It's much appreciated. :)
