How long does it take apple to fix an iphone?

I have water damage on my IPhone and I was wondering if I took it in to the closest apple store, if they would fix it right then and there or would I have to pick it up days later?

How long does it take to repair an iPhone screen?

At the Genius Bar at an Apple Store, the actual repair takes around an hour. The tech meets you, looks at it, talks with you, writes up the repair, and brings it into the secret Genius lair where The Summoning is most likely already taking place. He or she joins The Summoning, his or her mouth opening and eyes rolling back, arms raised, a guttural chant eminating from the depths of his or her soul. When the ritual is complete, the iPhone screen is good as new, and is brought back to you to sign and pay for.Getting the appointment, however, varies from store to store. It can be a 10-minute wait walk-in thing, or a 3 hour wait, or a couple days out online. So the entire thing might be, on average if you just walk in with no appointment, 2–3 hours from arrival to completion.

Will Apple repair my iphone?

Hi, So about a two and a half months ago, i got a new iphone 5 as a birthday present. Except when i took it out of the box, the audio was broken. Whenever i try to use earphones or headphones, only one side makes sound. Since i dont really live near an apple store, i have not been able to get it fixed. I went there once but they told me i needed to schedulle an appointment, which at the time i could not. So i was wondering, if i schedule an appointment, and go back there after almost two and a half months, will they still repair it for free?

I am not sure whether a warranty was brought or not because it was a present. I doubt it was brought though.

Does apple do free screen repair for Iphone 5?

Yesterday night a friend of mine accidentally knocked over my around 5 month old Iphone 5. The screen cracked pretty badly but only the screen/display is damaged, and nothing else. I read online that the genius tab or genius bar in an apple store will give you a free replacement the first time. The thing is, this is my first apple product and I^ve never been to an apple stoer before. Also, I live in Switzerland and I don^t know what their policy is.

Further Details:
-I purchased my phone from orange(a phone company) and not from the store directly
-I did not purchase an insurance on my phone
-I would not like to send it in to some website. If it is not free, please let me know about stores in switzerland that would do a cheap repair or possibly in america as I am going there soon
-I did not purchase a warranty or any form of insurance from the apple store
-I purchased the "Orange Young" contract

How Long does it take Apple to send a new iPhone?

I Sent my iPhone 4s in on Thursday March 20th 2014 . I got the confirmation emails & all that from FedEx that my package was delivered & signed for at the Repair Center . I checked my Repair status on Apple.com/support & it says Currently diagnosing . But A Apple Reprensative told me that they were just gonna send another device . So I'm wondering why it's taking so long ? The repair center is only in Half an Hour away from where I'm located . Should it be ready & shipped out today ? Or should I expect it on Monday ?

How long does it take for an iPhone battery replacement if I take it into an Apple Store?

Writing my experience from India, i took my phone to the apple authorized service center on 13th Jan. They ran diagnostics on my phone and told me about the present state of the battery of my iPhone 6.Later they told that they don’t have a spare new battery of this phone and they will need to import it from somewhere. They promised me that i will get a call from them once they arrange the battery. I've submitted Rs.500 and the rest (2100 in total) when i actually collect it. Since i am still waiting, but ive asked them how much time it takes and they said it will take max 1 hr and i can take my phone back at the same visit after they change the battery. They gave me a time period of around 15–20 days, of which 11 days are over but i am not eager and i know it was just an approximation. but i am expecting it to be swapped in feb starting.

How long does it take to repair a water damaged iphone?

Last night my iphone 5s fell into the bath (my lifeproof case didn't work because a rubber port cover fell off). I took the case off immediately, got as much water off as I could, and put it in a bag of rice. It worked fine but had stripes. I turned it off and left it in the rice overnight. I checked in the morning, but it's condition hasn't improved, so its back off and in the rice.

This is my first iphone, I've only had it for a month, and I've been SO careful to keep the battery in good shape. I was really determined to take care of it :(. I want to take it in to get repaired but I'm moving in 10 days. What can I do?

How long does it take an Apple store to repair a MacBook including the logic board?

An Apple Store — at least most of them — are not also Apple Authorized Service Provider or an Apple Repair Center.A lot of that work gets subcontracted out to companies like Solectron. The normal way that gets handled is you contact or call Repair - Official Apple Support, they send you an official box, you put the device into the box, mail it off to the address on the box, and they eventually mail you back a repaired unit. Which may or may not be the unit you mailed out, depending on the extent of the repair.Or they can frequently box it up and mail it from the store. But the underpants gnomes who do the actual repairs are almost guaranteed to not be in the back of the store — there’s no way they have the variety of parts in the back. Too many SKUs for the available storage space.

Why does Apple take back a broken iPhone when replacing?

Along with the excellent answers about recycling parts that were already mentioned, what do you think would happen if anyone could get a low-priced replacement iPhone without giving the old phone back to them? If you guessed that everyone and their dog would be going to the Apple Store to get that half-price replacement phone while at the same time, keeping their old phones, you'd be correct. It would be almost impossible for Apple to control how many replacement phones go out the door at that price.Apple actually inspects the phones sent back to them for quality control at the Genius Bar to make sure that the phones are being replaced for the correct reasons. The store leadership is notified about how many phones were classified incorrectly. This is not only good for Apple's bottom line, but it ensures that you are getting the correct service at the Genius bar. Also, you are well within your rights to erase the phone before giving it back to Apple. Whenever I worked there, this was actually required and another thing that you'd get in trouble for if you weren't doing. Settings - general - reset - erase all content and settings. If that's not possible (because the screen doesn't work), they can do a DFU restore on a computer to erase the phone. You could have also sent a remote command through iCloud to erase it before you deleted it from your iCloud account (phone would need to power on and connect to the internet for this to work) If the phone just doesn't power on at all, which was probably the case if you dropped it in water, then there's really no way to erase your data unless you physically destroy it (which I wouldn't recommend - a certain percentage of the phone has to be intact in order to replace it through the genius bar. You may have already destroyed any chance of recovery with the liquid damage anyway). The folks at Apple would have to try really hard to retrieve your information from a liquid damaged phone.  I can assure you that Apple goes to great lengths to make it difficult for employees to save any customer information. I don't know why you think they'd even want your information, but trying to access or save it without your permission will get someone fired very quickly.Did you see the March 21 Apple Keynote?
