How do you clean inside a car headlight?
I have a 2002 Toyota Camry and the headlights have this filmy look to them. I've tried washing the outside, but the filmy part is on the inside. Do I have to take the headlight apart to clean it or are there easier ways short of buying a new headlight? It's not hindering my driving (although some would argue that point lol) it's just annoying me a bit.
How do you clean car engine in sludges without complexity?
If really sludged, I would start out by pulling the oil pan and valve covers to manually clean what you can.I use a product with a formulation similar to AutoRx sold in the US by internet. It uses Esters as solvents over 1000 to 1500 miles, slowly dissolving the sludge. Always use a new filter for this.I recommend AGAINST the use of the 10 minute flushes, as I've seen too many engines ruined by quickly dislodging globs or carbon that then goes through the filter bypass to the bearings where it blocks the small orifices.Then figure out why is sludged up. Too much idling? Too many short trips? starting frequently to charge the battery (not recommended). Engines should always be driven until completely warm so the moisture can evaporate.
