How long does it take items to come back in stock online?
I really want this sweater on American Eagle's website but it says it is completely out of stock in every size. I'm just wondering, how long does it usually take for things to come back in stock?
How long does it usually take for Amazon to get items back in stock?
I want to order something, but it is "temporarily" out of stock on Amazon. It says it will be shipped to me as soon as it's back in stock... has anyone ever done this, and how long does it usually take? I know there's no exact answer to this, but has it ever taken a long time? I ask this because this is a Christmas present for someone and I want to have it in by Dec. 24.

Hello, the direct answer is YES. and i have personal beliefs, as to why they do, when in business of any kind, you never turn away a customer, you never say you cant get something, or dont offer something, that would be turning away revenue and bad for business, its called out sourcing, you, or they may not have whats desired, but they know where they can get it for you, it also falls under the heading of networking, both are great business strategies to practice, but you best be able to deliver, or you run the risk of compiling a poor reputation, for promising and not fulfilling, which is poor for business, that is if your about satisfied customers, built on a positive reputation, below i shared something i found interesting about amazon.I placed an order 4 days ago from Amazon.It was sold by a 3rd party, but was fullfilled by Amazon.So I assume that means it is stocked in Amazon's warehouse as they were combining it with other items I ordered from other vendors.Today the vendor or Amazon was able to cancel my order and just say it was not in stock. WTF?I can't imagine the people they will screw over this christmas by selling items they do not have in stock.That is bullshit they sell items not in stock. I searched for the exact same item and you can still buy it, it says in stock and fullfilled by amazon but sold by another 3rd party vendor.I bought the same thing again. Why wouldn't Amazon just ship me what I ordered if they have it in stock in their warehouse??? When Sephora Items are out of stock, how long does it usually take for it to be in stock?
It says on the site they restock about every couple of weeks but I didn't find that true for a couple of items I wanted. One of them still hasn't been restocked and I've been waiting since October/November. The one that did, it took about two months. So it really depends on the item you want to see restocked.

I added a few items to my wishlist, and after a few days, they went out stock. I kept them in my wishlist though. I know there's such as thing as being 'waitlisted', but this wasn't an option for these items; it just said 'out of stock'. Thanks

Old Navy out of stock on an item size i want?
you can always reserve one at another old navy location. if you ask your cashier they will look up which stores have your size in stock. if you don't have one near you, then you're out of luck & there's no specific time it stays out of stock online. sometimes they just don't restock online. sometimes it will take days or weeks.
