How Long Does It Take To Hear Back From The Riverside Cna Program

How many miles can a truck driver legally drive in a 24-hour period?

In a 24 hour period? Technically (in the United States) we can drive for a total of 12.5 hours. It works out like this: From the moment I go on duty I can drive for a maximum of 11 hours, legally. After these hours are spent I must shut down for a minimum of 10 hours before I can go on duty again. But, before I can roll at the beginning of my shift I must do a pre-trip inspection, which typically takes about half an hour. And I must stop for a 30 minute break in the middle of my driving shift.Let’s also assume I don’t have any loading or unloading to do, and that I don’t have to fuel during my driving shift. So, if I were to go on duty at 12:00midnight the total time from the first moment I go on duty to the moment I shut down should total up to about 12 hours, followed by 10 hours of mandatory rest. At 10pm I can go on duty again. But don’t forget, I must perform another pre-trip inspection. So at 10:30pm I can start rolling again, allowing me to squeeze in another 1.5 hours of driving time into this 24 hour period.Total driving time: 12.5 hours

Medical Assistant: Degree VS. Certificate?

THIS IS A REPOST: One person answered, but didnt even answer any of my question. Just said that "Medical Assistant degrees are often scams — drawing in students with no regard for whether there are enough jobs available." EVERY single career i look into that i want to do, there are not enough jobs available, but that doesnt mean im not going to school for it. I have to go to school for something because i need a job.Even if there arent a lot open.

Okay, so my end goal is to become a Radiology Technician but there are no accredited schools near by so i have decided to put that off until i can move closer to one, which wont be for years most likely.

Anyways the school near me is accredited for a Medical Assistant program. It offers a degree and a certificate program, i will be taking the national Certified Medical Assistant certification exam offered through the American Association of Medical Assistants when i finish. Does it look better whether i have a degree or certificate? They also offer a Phlebotomy course and a Medical billing and coding course which i would like to take after.

Also they have a Patient Registration Specialist Program but im not sure if i should try and take that if it is probably unnecessary? Or would help me out to find a job?

Another question i currently live in Washington state (seattle area), and if i move to California(i used to live there but had to move, Riverside area), would all of what i did and become certified count over there, or do i have to become certified in California? Do you think i would find more job opportunities here or there? Any other input or advice would be great :) And i know some of you may be wondering why i don't just go into a 2 year nursing program at all, its because i don't really have any interest in it. And i don't think i could handle what lpn/lvn's do. I wouldn't be happy doing it.

Additional Details
and when i say "seattle area" i mean like 3 hours away haha otherwise i would be near a radiology program! i wish. lol

Do the police legally have the right to tap your phone based purely on suspicion?

The laws on wiretapping are complex and the reality is a bit different from what’s in the law books.Traditionally police have needed court warrants for wiretaps. But lately police departments have been deploying “stingray” boxes which can tap all the cell phones in a nearby area. They may collect just phone number and call duration data, or who knows, they may actually listen in.Also we know the NSA is perfectly fine with tapping anybody’s phone, anybody who might be making or receiving a phone call from outside the USA or from a terrorist suspect, so, anyone. It’s probably a bad idea to use phones to communicate about illegal things, how about you just pass notes or have conversations in a sawmill?

Where can i get a hunting license in southern california?

You have to take a hunting education class to get a lisence. The class is about 24-32 hours. So it will take up a whole weekend. I don't know if you have to have a permit in Cali to own a gun, but because that state is so liberal I imagine you might have to.
He needs to go online and find out where he can take his hunter safty class. When he get's there he can ask the instructor about anything he needs too.

Your buddy might not be hunting for a few years.
He has to realize this.
It's not like you can go out an buy a peice of paper and then buy a gun and walk out the next morning an shoot something.

He might not be able to find a hunter ed class available for a couple of months. Then he has to apply for a license buy april. And then maybe he will get a tag for next season. But if he is an adult it may take a couple of years of applying for a tag before he gets one. Not everyone gets a tag every year.
You can't buy a hunting liscence over the counter for deer, elk, bear, moose ect. Over the counter. You have to apply for them.

After he gets a hunter education card (after completing the safty class) then he can buy an over the counter license for rabbit, duck, peasant, goose, coyote, fox, squirrel etc.
And you cna buy those at Walmart in the hunting department, or at Cabelas, or Bass Pro Shops, or any other hunting store. Or a sports store that has a hunting section.

Tell him to go into Walmart and go to the hunting center and talk to a guy behind the counter and askin him questions. and tell him to pick up a Division of Wildlife book. It's a free booklet that has all the rules and regulations in it.
