How Long Does It Take You To Go Through Eyeliner

How fast do you go through eyeliner?

like 5 minutes.less? I don't have the patience.

How long does it take for you to go through an eyeliner pencil?

I never use just one eye liner until it finishes. Some do run out faster than others. Like urban decay eye liners run out fast and they smudge easily. I don't like those. Clinique has good eye liner pencils that last. They also have an eye liner that you apply with a brush. That thing lasts forever! And it doesn't smudge.

How do you keep eyeliner from smudging?

I've been a professional makeup artist for years, and an avid wear-er for life. Going through many different kinds, my heart has been set on Bobbi Brown's Long Wear Gel Liner for 10 years now. It is worth every bang of it's buck. Retailing for $22, this little pot is sure to go a long way. Not only will your supply last 6-12 months, but it wears all day and night; smudge and flake free. Not to mention in is waterproof! You'll definitely need some waterproof eye makeup remover, but fear not- there is no need to spend $24+ on this. CVS and Target have made this fabulous cosmetic kryptonite generic, which is identical in providing flawless results. Not to mention, they are oil free which will keep pores healthy and breathing! They should range from $4-$6. Get the scoop here:http://theskinnybyemily.blogspot...

Can henna be used as eyeliner?

Short answer: Yes, but only if you’re willing to risk damaging your eye.Long answer: Henna powder is meant to leave a stain on the skin by dyeing it temporarily. If you apply henna to your eye as a liner, you risk having henna powder enter your eye. The henna will stain any surface if it is mixed properly and your eye is no different. If your eye becomes stained you risk blindness, infection, nerve damage.Assuming you do get the henna around your eye successfully, it will dry and begin to flake off. You must attempt to fully remove it without getting it into your eye. Again, not advisable.Say that all of this actually works and you get it around the eye, then flake it off with no trouble. Fast forward two weeks (or less) and the henna begins fading away. You are left with strange discoloration around your eyes that cannot be removed without irritating your eye in the process.

How long does it take to put on eye shadow and then lipstick?

It depends on how detailed your eyeshadow look is.My go-to is eithera pale shade in the crease, slightly darker on the inner half of the lid, and darker again on the outer halfor a pale shade in the crease, a shimmery gold on the centre of my lid, and a medium-dark shade on either side of thatBoth of those take me about five minutes to do - there’s no complex blending or layering involved and a minimum of colours. If someone is doing something more complex, like a cut crease (see below) or something involving glitter, it will take longer - up to twenty minutes or longer, I’ve heard, although I’ve never attempted it. It’s not worth it with hooded eyes.Lipstick is quite quick, not more than a couple of minutes, although slightly longer if you’re using a lip liner, and you have to take it slower if you’re using a dark shade that will stain if you go outside your lip line.

Is it okay to use an eyeliner to draw on your skin?

I'm mostly a lurker here, but I saw a comment in another thread that I wanted to address directly & to everyone. Someone commented they used sharpies as eyeliner, and some of the responses seemed curious like 'hey maybe that's a good idea'.It's really not. I've been working as an oil & acrylic artist for 20 years, and I work at an art supply store part time for the boss discounts & product education. I like to learn about the science and chemistry behind art supplies so I can manipulate them better, & so I can stay safe. I just wanted to let all of you know that alcohol based markers aren't safe for long term skin use, are not meant for use around your eyes, and how it's a really bad idea.On markers you won't see warming labels about dangerous toxicity levels. You'll see instead the I AP (Approved Product) certification symbol of The Art & Creative Materials Institute, Inc. (ACMI). According to the organization:"The new AP (Approved Product) Seal, with or without Performance Certification, identifies art materials that are safe and that are certified in a toxicological evaluation by a medical expert to contain no materials in sufficient quantities to be toxic or injurious to humans, including children, or to cause acute or chronic health problems. (Sandford LP became a member of ACMI in 1986) However, this does not mean that materials are not irritants or allergens. Such products are certified by ACMI to be labeled in accordance with the chronic hazard labeling standard, ASTM D 4236, and the U.S. Labeling of Hazardous Art Materials Act.Feel free to get in touch with us here: Premium Acrylic Makeup Palette Organizer - Just another WordPress site

Can eyeliner damage your eye?

Yes, it’s not my personal view but ophthalmologist strongly worn about it. But if you use eyeliner in limit and in the right way then I sure, your eyes cannot get harm. Just you have to attention on some guidelines:First of all, you should check out the tone of your eyes. If your eyes are sensitive then you should care it very politely. Because if you are not aware of your eyes tone then your eyes get allergic and you will might have to face a tough time. The market provides a wide selection of eyeliner products for eyes but just those eyeliner should use which are made with good ingredients and those are recommended by an ophthalmologist. The way how you use eyeliner on your eyes is main factor for protecting eyes from eyeliner. if mistakenly the eyeliner applies inside the eyes then your eye’s cornea introduce bacteria directly, that is harmful for eyes. if you use eyeliner maturely then you cannot get any flaw.consider it when you going to long drive then you should avoid eyeliner or mascara because eyes are too sensitive. If they are getting engaged with dust or any pollution then it goes allergic. That is mostly happen but if get attention on it then can save from eyes problems.Make sure your eyes are clean and neat when you are going to apply eyeliner on it. If you put eyeliner without wash eyes then the dust will harm eyes, that can decrease eyes health. So if you want to make your eyes beautiful without any negative effect then you should follow these guidelines and you can give luxury feeling to your eyes without any compromise. How do you put on 3D Fiber Lash Mascara?

How do we remove eyeliner on the eyebrow?

Put makeup remover on a Q-tip and just scrub it back and forth through your eyebrow. If you don't have makeup remover handy, or if your makeup remover hasn't worked, try Olive Oil instead. :) Make sure the Q-tip really gets through all of the hairs and onto the skin, you might have to scrub a bit harder and make sure you go in both directions, left and right, to get it off both sides of the hair. If that doesn't work, try taking a facial cloth, soaking it in warm water, and put a little facial cleanser in your brow, then leave the cloth to soak over your eyebrow to really penetrate the brow. Then, scrub at your brow with the cloth after a few minutes to get the cleanser really into your brow hairs. Also, try brushing through your brows with a brow brush to sort of comb or brush out any pencil that might be stuck to the hairs. :)
Hope I helped!

First time using liquid eyeliner?

I wanted a more dramatic look, so i went and bought some black liquid eyeliner. I decided to only put it on the top lashes. [take note, i have NEVER put any type of eyeliner on my top lashes before. I've only used light pencil, usually brown, on my bottom so this is very new to me]

I have been sitting here 4 hours straight, not kidding, trying to make it look right. My eyes are even puffy, and raw from rubbing it all off and reapplying it time after time.

For one, i cant seem to keep the line straight. For two, i end up putting way too much so it goes WAY above my lashline making it look like eyeshadow. For three, sometimes i can see my skin between the liner and the lashes. And four, when i close my eye to apply it, i always get some on the bottom [it like seeps through or something] and thats horrible looking. Not to mention its found its way into my eyeball quite a few times.

What do i do?
