How Long Face Computer Every Day Is The Most Appropriate

What happens to your face when you watch too much tv/computer?

Many reasons : ( for internet also)

1- brightness of the screen can make your eyes tired.TV in excessive amounts causes eye-strain.The TV should be 5 m. away from the eye, the room should be adequately lit, TV should be placed at the same height with our eyes, etc.

2- weight gain. If you watch three hours of TV a day, you are far more likely to be obese than if you watch less than one hour. Why does TV make you gain weight? It’s not necessarily that it makes you gain weigh as much as it prevents you from losing weight. Almost any activity burns more calories per hour than watching TV.

3- TV prevents you from going outside in the sunshine, laughing with friends, excercising, sleeping... all which give your face a healthy form

Is it okay to wash my eyes after staring all day at the computer?

Haha thanks Kaes - supporting the 'only listen to us Optometrists and other eye-professionals' spiel.

In all seriousness - there's nothing with washing your face. And if your mom's giving you hell about it, then drag her in with you next time you have your eyes checked by the eye doctor. Better yet, get her to make the appointment for you and have her along.

Anyways, without there being too much egg on her face, a good face wash is also a decent way to reduce blepharitis - inflammation of the eyelids from skin bacteria. You don't have to do anything fancy - just that a LOT of people out there have very mild bleph from not washing their faces. And in most cases, is perfectly normal.

Though I just wonder... how long ARE you spending on the computer... cause that might be the source of her irritation... =)

Will washing your face after a long hour of computer browsing cause blindness?

Who told you that?!

How many hours a day do you use your computer? Are there any benefits to letting it rest for 24 hours?

My computer is on from 09:00 to 01:00 every day. I have a laptop and a desktop, and they both start working for SETI@Home about 18:00 every day when I start dinner, then they automatically turn off at 01:00. I get up at 08:00, use my tablet to look at social media, then go to work at 09:00 and turn my computers on.I used to not turn them off at all, but my electricity bill was out of this world, so I started turning the machines off at night. My bill has reduced, I’m a happy camper.

Sitting at a computer too long can stunt your growth?

I've realized I haven't grown much when I was first introduced to a computer years ago which got me addicted to the net. Ever since I would spend a quarter of my day EVERYDAY sitting in front of a computer looking like I have a frozen face staring at the screen with my mouth dead open and fingers typing. O.o

Weird right?

Anyway, could this would cause the stunt of my growth. I'm 16 btw.
Plus, I do have a life. I'm not like those computer-nerdy-freaks. :P

Does playing computer cause acne?

More likely hormones.

How much time should you spend sitting in front of a computer at most?

For health reasons, it's recommended to move every 30 min. to prevent any long sitting hour related health risks.

Is 16 hours a day on a computer good for a 12-year-old?

It’s not good for anyone. Don’t do that or your health will really suffer.Professional programmers might do 9 or 10 hours on a computer, in several stretches, some of that on personal projects at home. But we’ll also get up and move around to meetings, get some exercise, play music or pool or something, and generally move around a lot more than while actually sitting at a PC. And you get into the discipline of standing up and stretching every half hour or so, and looking around the room and out the window to give your eyes a rest.Gamers will often be so absorbed they don’t move at all beyond their input device motions for 8 or more hours at a stretch… this is really, really bad, and pretty much if you’re doing something like that, you’re going to have to spend the rest of your awake time moving around or face long term serious health issues, probably cardiovascular or diabetes.I have done 14 hour actively engaged oncall stretches at Google due to overlap being required at both ends of a 12 hour shift because of an ongoing disaster recovery, four days in a row, and then three the following weekend. That was acknowledged to be so rough, for the couple of weeks we had to do it, that management approved significant spot bonuses for everyone who was oncall for it, and extra holiday time. Of course, the onsite folks worked hardest of all, and got gigantic bonuses and awards.16 hours is too much. It’s about double what is sustainable, and more than any professional outfit should be permitting, let alone what kids should be doing.
