How Long Is A Flight From Seattle To Arkansas

How long does it take for regular mail to send from Texas to Illinois on an average schedule?

The United States Postal Service (USPS) offers a map for Priority Mail delivery service: "Priority Mail Delivery Map" Let's take Austin, Texas, noted on the map in the darker blue, as our origin. You can see that in the vicinity of Austin, you can count on one-day delivery for priority mail. To most urban and otherwise populated areas around the country, it's two days. To rural areas around the country, it's three days. From Austin to Chicago or the St. Louis area, it could be two days. For a more rural part of Illinois, it could be three.Just click the link above to enter your origin address. Now, this is all for "Priority Mail."Regular first-class mail looks like this: "United States Postal Service: Service Standards Map"To basically anywhere in Illinois from Texas, you're looking at three days.Which then brings up the interesting point of whether it's worth it to pay more for Priority Mail. It should also be noted that these maps aren't guarantees, and they aren't from an omniscient crystal ball. They're estimates. But three days is probably a pretty strong median delivery duration.

How long would it take to fly 1200 miles in a single engine plane?

Depends on the plane. Single engine planes range in cruise speeds from around 75 knots airspeed (Piper Cub) to 235 knots airspeed (Cessna TTx). So 1200 miles (1931 km or 1042 nautical miles) give us a range of 13 hours 54 minutes to 4 hours 26 minutes. Now you’re well over the maximum range of the Piper Cub, so the pilot’s going to have to stop a number of times for gas, and to get something to eat, stretch their legs, and go to the bathroom. (We have to be practical!) And 13 hours is a LONG time to pilot a plane. The Cessna TTx is right at the limit of it’s range. Although you could technically fly it like that IF you had the right wind, it’s a really bad idea. And if you have a headwind you’ll run out of gas before you get there. So you’ll want to stop for gas, etc. too. But in this plane you only have to stop once.So those numbers above aren’t right. Each stop will lengthen your trip. And that’s without really considering the wind. If you get a tail wind, you’ll go faster relative to the ground, headwind, the opposite. So depends on the wind, which depends on the weather.Airlines get around the variability of weather (most of the time) by knowing the worst case of how long it’ll likely take and scheduling for that. They also have the capability of going faster to make up some time too.

Where can I buy official Seattle Mariners MLB hats in the Seattle Airport/SeaTac area?

I have a running collection of Flat Brim MLB caps from Major Cities I've been to. So I really want one for Seattle. I'm spending one night in Seattle for a flight connection but don't have the time or money to get a cab Downtown and get one. I'm staying in the Double Tree hotel there, if that helps. Are there any stores in that area that sell these hats?

How long would it take an F-22 Raptor to fly from New York to London?

If it flew at a subsonic cruise, the time of flight would be little different or very slightly less than commercial airlines.  Check the airlines' scheduled flight times.  However the F-22 is capable of supersonic, supercruise.  That would make a large difference. For reference, before he was an astronaut John Glenn in July of 1957 set a "transcontinental speed record," flying from Los Angeles to New York in 3 hours 23 minutes in a Vought F-8 Crusader. His was the first cross-country flight to average supersonic speed."  He called it, "Project Bullet" because he was flying faster than a 45 caliber bullet.  However he had to slow down each time for his three inflight-refuelings en route. The distance from JFK in New York to LHR London is 1.39 times more distant than Glenn's Los Angeles to New York flight.  Therefore extrapolating, John Glenn would have flown from New York to London in 4 hours and 42 minutes.  The F-22 would fly the same distance in even less time if it flew supersonic as Glenn did.  Both Glenn's F-8 and the F-22 needed to inflight refuel which necessitates slowing to subsonic speed while refueling, so that comparison remains equal.F-8 Maximum speed: Mach 1.86 (1,225 mph, 1,975 km/h) at 36,000 ft (11,000 m)F-22 Maximum Speed: Mach 2.25 (1,500 mph, 2,410 km/h) [estimated][112]F-22 Supercruise: Mach 1.82 (1,220 mph, 1,960 km/h)[112]John Glenn's Project Bullet

Does Cavalia ever venture to Washington state or the Portland, Oregon area?

Judging by their current show schedule... I'm going to say no.

They are performing in Calgary currently but also have shows in Quebec. To drive to Calgary would require about 15 hours and your passport to get across the border or it's approximately a three hour flight.

How long does USPS First Class International take to reach a final destination in the Netherlands?

4-7 business days

How long would it take an F-16 to fly from Colorado to Washington D.C. at top speed?

As the other responses indicate, the top speed of an F-16 consumes enough fuel that, at a minimum, it would have to slow down at least once to air-refuel if it tried to belt along at its maximum speed (about 1,300 mph at 40,000 feet). If the pilot of an F-16 wanted to make the trip you suggest without air refueling, it would be possible, but definitely not at top speed. He or she would need to figure out their optimum altitude and airspeed to achieve the best performance (in terms of fuel consumption) over the desired range. This was the strategy used by then-Major John Glenn in 1957, when he set a coast-to-coast record in an F8U covering about 2,450 miles at an average speed of just over 725 miles per hour. How long does it take for standard mail to reach Connecticut from California?

How long does USPS First Class International take to ship packages to Singapore?

It will be slow, could take weeks but may not take more than 2 weeks. Even an express package to Ontario, Canada took 4 weeks because they forgot about it at the Toronto office. It took me many calls to finally get someone to look at it. It was showing in customs for weeks when it had actually cleared customs. The item was worth quite a bit and the customer called eBay and they said at that time in the high value department that it took too long so I’d have to refund the person! I asked what if they receive it the next day, will I get my money back? These eBay guys said “No”Mind you I was on vacation in Maui so I had to call each day until I finally got a good CSR who asked me if she could reach out to the customer after the men I talked to were saying well too bad lady. Then the next day the package showed up! The customer had been very nasty. She bought the item then was going on a trip and told me to wait until she returned. I did this even though I was dinged for late shipping. My boyfriend was very upset with me for having to take care of this on vacation but it was a very high value item and it was clearly nothing I had done. So it all depends upon the country and who gets your package. Usually though everything arrives. It’s up to the seller to get it there even if someone doesn’t do their job on the receiving end. If it was insured they can put in a claim. Just be ready to make calls if the value of the item is high enough and you really want it. Amazingly I’ve never had an express mail lost!

How long does mail take from California to Georgia?

If as in standard first class, I would say 4 days to a week. Lot depends on time of day and where it was mailed and where it is going as related to major sorting hubs and airports. Also if the address is clear, was it mailed on a weekend or around a holiday. You might get lucky and get it in 3 days. What slows it down is the amount of connections and wait time as it has to wait for trucks and sorting rotation for specific destinations. The Post Office is on a major push to econominize.
