How long you have a crush on someone? It could vary. Not so much depending on the situation, but on the friendship. I had a crush on my friend's older brother since we were kids. I still have a small crush, but I wouldn't mess with him and because of that the feelings remain. If I decided to satisfy my feelings, I probably wouldn't like him.

i got a new guinea pig named Jackie (Jaqueline) and i have had her for a week now, i haven't tried to hold her since about like 4 days ago. is she ready for me to hold her? she still jumps around A BIT after i come in the room. if she isn't, how long do i have to wait? i already am talking to her while hand feeding her. also,would she be more comfortable around me if i got another guinea pig with her?
How long can someone be held against their will in a mental hospital if they cooperate and are not a danger?
My boyfriend was taken to the hospital emergency room 3 days ago by a police officer. he was told by the police that he would talk to someone and he'd be back home by the end of the day. after he spoke to a social worker, he was informed by a nurse that it wouldn't be that easy. it wasn't until after he signed papers that he was informed that he would be transferred from there to a mental hospital to be evaluated. however, they told him that it would be a very quick evaluation and that he would be home the same day as the evaluation. he was transferred the next morning to a mental hospital. unfortunately, it wasn't quick. they wouldn't let him have his cell phone and they kept him there for the the day. that was thursday. friday they shipped him to another mental hospital. when he got to this one he was told that if the psychiatrist wanted to give him meds it was optional, that saying no would only be held against him if he became dangerous. mind you i've been with this man for over 3 years, he's 23 years old and he has never hurt anyone. i can say that he is not dangerous in the least. later on that day he was told that if he turned down meds they tried to give him that he would be physically forced to take it. so of course when they gave him a mild tranquilizer that's used to treat bipolar, he took it, and luckily it's only made him sleepy. it is now sunday morning and i am wondering how long they can keep him against his will without him being a danger to anything? i know they can keep them longer if family members tell them to, but myself and his mother and all of us are telling them that we want him to come home and we dont feel that there is any danger. if someone could tell me how long they can legally keep him i would really appreciate it. we all just want him to come home.
