How Long Will It Take To Grow My Hair 4-5 Inches

How long will it take for my hair to grow 4 inches?

Four months assuming your hair grows an each month and dont be sad it will grow back. And hey atleast if there were any dead ends they're gone now. And long healthy hair is way prettier than lomg damaged hair.

But try eating vegetables and fruits. Things with lots of vitamin A are really gonna bring the length in a bit faster bc healthy eating also affects hair growth. Massage your scalp with coconut oil and invert yourself for four minutes seven days straight out of a month.

And braid your hair at night and put some coconut oil on the ends. It prevents hair breakage and contributes to hair length. Hope this helps you. Dont forget to drink lots of water and avoid any kind of heat tools at all costs. Use a t shirt to dry your hair always use a wide tooth comb first on damp hair and always comb from the end then work your way up gently. Happy hair growing!!

In order for your hair to grow it's fastest, you must make sure your hair is strong and healthy. My hair used to be very easily damaged and would break off easily (I'm biracial, have EXTREMELY tight curly hair that is thick and dry). What I did was make sure all of my ends were trimmed off that were split/dead and every time I would wash my hair, before hand, I would put a little bit more than a quarter size of Extra Virgin Olive Oil you get from the grocery store (Make sure it is 100% pure oil!) and leave it in my hair wrapped in a towel for about fifteen minutes while my hair is wet and then wash it out and condition as usual.
Doing this has actually kept my hair extremely healthy and my hair is much much stronger than it used to be, in just a matter of weeks!
Besides doing that, make sure you are eating healthy with a lot of protein in your diet (fish, nuts, eggs, etc.) & not too much sugar or soda... Exercise daily and drink LOTS of water. (at least 8-10 glasses a day)
You can invest in hair vitamins that also help with keeping your hair healthy such as Fish Oil pills, Biotin pills, & Hair, Skin, & Nails vitamins.
Besides that, there is not much else you can do to increase the growth of your hair, but just be patient and to grow your hair about five inches, it will most likely take about a year or so because on average, a person's hair grows about a half inch to an inch a month...
Good luck!
P.S. A little trick I use to increase my hair growth is to massage my scalp with my fingertips (not the nails!) in a circular motion to get the hair follicles and natural oils in my hair up and moving to help the blood circulation. Doing this about ten to fifteen minutes a day everyday may increase hair's growth. :) It sure worked for me. Instead of growing a half inch, my hair grew more than an inch just by doing this! :D

How long would it take to grow 4 inches of hair?

To start off, I'm mixed with Indian, African American and White, my hair stops below my shoulders. I think I have pretty good hair, it's thick, soft, and shiny, I just want it to grow more. I heard that drinking water helps and taking biotin vitamins help but I don't know if it's safe for a 13 year old to take biotin. I want my hair to stop at least to my bra strap if possible. I haven't used heat for like about three weeks because I heard not using heat on your hair helps it grow. I've also tried that massaging thing too ( not lately though). I just really want to grow out my hair. If there's a way hair can grow four inches or more in 6 months, can you please tell me..... Btw,my grandma had long hair, my mom had long hair until she got it done one day and her hair started to fall out and my aunt had long hair until she lost some of it due to stress.....

i tend to use heat on my hair almost everyday(i know you shouldn't) but i use a heat protectent. right now my hair is 3 or 4 inches below my shoulders and i want my hair to be down at/past my boobs. i still want it to be healthy though. i'm not very good about cutting my hair ver often(i cut it maybe every 3 months usually even though your supposed to ever 6 weeks) but i'm trying to be better about that. i also take multi vitamins which i heard helps your hair grow.

how long do you think it will take? also any other hair growing tips(that will keep my hair healthy while it grows)

How long does it take hair to grow 4-5 inches?

No.
"Scalp hair grows at an average rate of 0.4 mm/day (approximately 0.5 in/month). At any particular time, not all human hair follicles in any given anatomical location are in identical growth stages; some are in the anagen, while others are in the telogen or catagen. This phenomenon is referred to as the mosaic pattern and is in contrast to some animals whose follicular units all are synchronized. This explains some animals' ability to shed winter coats when the ambient temperature becomes warm, while humans do not go bald during the follicular rest period. "
