How Long Will It Take To Loose Wight By Running For Half And Hour Everyday

If i jog 1 hour every day for a month how much weight will i lose?

More oxygen usage further increases calories burned during physical activity, so jogging puts you in an oxygen debt fairly quickly, typically a person can jog ~4-5 miles per hour. Take 0.75 x (your weight in pounds). Multiply this total times the number of miles ran, and it accurately indicates total loss.

So you would lose 107.25 calories a mile currently (adjusting as you lose weight) - totaling around ~429 an hour. There are 3500 calories in a pound. So you'd lose around 4 lbs the first month from exercise.

This is not including dieting whatsoever, you should talk to your doctor with your parents or educate yourself on the matter. As long as you receive your necessary nutrients, healthy fats, fish oils, etc, then you could lower your calorie intake to further lose weight, for instance your body may burn while doing absolutely nothing around 1600 calories a day, so if you ate around 1000-1200 with the proper foods and nutrients you could double the weight loss. Lower than that is unhealthy without going on a strictly LIQUID DIET while taking TONS of supplements, that would be around ~600 calorie intake and you could lose about 12 pounds in the first month, it's not something you can stick to, a proper diet with exercise will only take a tiny bit longer. I'd advise increasing your exercising and perhaps picking up a sport or physical activity while sticking to a healthy diet, so once you hit your target weight you can continue exercising and eating however you choose.

How long will it take me to lose 15-20 pounds with running and abdominal excersises?

I’ll stop you right there. Abdominal exercises do literally nothing for losing weight. As in, you’d be better spending that time walking, paying with your dog, grocery shopping. More or less anything.Losing weight is about burning calories stored as fat on the body. Weight lifting and cardio will do this at different rates for different people. However specific fat loss in an area is impossible. You burn 2kg of fat and it’s coming off everything; legs, arms, back, bum, stomach and chest.Exercising the stomach region is honestly the last thing on the list; it’s for increasing your muscle definition there once you have gotten rid of enough fat.If you want to lose weight, the common saying is it’s 80% diet, 20% exercise. Are you actually eating right? How many calories? How many calories from fatty food and junk food? How many calories from drinks (everyone forgets that).A lot of info on the internet claims losses of about 2lb a month are the standard. You’ll lose more in the first few months, and less each month after unless you up the exercise/drop the calories to counteract this effect.Don’t just run, your body will get used to the mechanics of it and you will become more efficient; good for a runner, bad for someone aiming to lose weight. Mix it up; run, swim, lift weights, cycle.A final note; don’t worry about excess muscle from lifting weights. Even as a man with significantly more testosterone building muscle isn’t as easy as you’d think. And lifting weights is an often overlooked and very effective way to lose weight.

Does swimming an hour everyday help you lose weight?

The site below has a table to estimate calories burned swimming. If you hold everything else constant, you will lose about one pound for every 3500 calories expended in exercise.

Aloha

What will happen if I run for 1 hour every day for 2 weeks?

There are some good answers here, and others not so much. The bottomline is that you will lose weight, if you watch your diet. I’ve lost more than 10 lbs so far by running an hour every single day, and after one and a half months it actually seems really easy to do so. I started off going slowly on purpose at 5.3 mph so as not to injure myself, and now I can easily run at a 6 mph pace; 7 mph with effort if I wanted to.Whatever you do, the key is to start at a maintainable pace, and then STICK to your running week by week. The pant sizes will drop no matter what, I guarantee you. Also, try to get it done first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach. You'll have much more energy throughout the day, and it will become habitual to get it over with when you first wake up. If you have space, ideally I would invest in a treadmill at home to cut commuting times to the gym. I'm not a fan of running outside because of weather unpredictability and the inconvenience of carrying water around, so a treadmill with a nice fan would make your running experience much more fun and routine, in my opinion. Best of luck to you.

Losing 1000 calories on a treadmill running every day and i also work out everday how fast will i lose weight?

while burning that much is great it is not ok to do everyday especially if you are adding in other workouts along with it due to two facts one is that your body needs rest between workouts so pushing it that much everyday will potentially harm your body and two with the amount of calories being consumed your body in naturally burning of many of those automatically so burning that much extra off ever day can actually cause the body to starve and your metabolism can start slowing down, your energy level can get very low, your body will feel week. its almost as if you had an eating disorder. and you should never have below 1200 calories or your body will confuse itself and there is a change of yoyo weight or in the long run gaining extra weight. i would suggest giving your self one or two days of rest from the gym each week but if that bothers you too much only do 3 or 4 days of burning 1000 calories and the other days burn between 500-800. as for targeting the gut there are several things first make sure you are doing PLENTY of ab workouts. that will help decrease fat and increase muscle. and also there are waste bands that you can use that cause you to sweat more on your stomach therefore increasing the amount of weight lost in that particular area.

i hope this helps.

Is it better to run half an hour everyday, or an hour every other day?

half an hour every day...consistency is better than distance

To lose weight how long should I walk a day?

depends on how fast you want results and how much free time you have i would say about a half hour

Can running/jogging for 5 days a week help you lose weight? How fast would you need to run to lose half a pound in a week?

These points are echoed elsewhere, but I'll chime in.If you increase physical activity while making no changes in your diet, then you will either lose weight or reduce the rate at which you are gaining it.The key metric for weight loss from activity is duration over speed.  You burn more calories running a mile in 9 minutes than if you do in 8.  That's hard to imagine, I know, but easier to grasp if you simply think of expenditure as time based.Half a pound is 1800 calories.  How LONG you need to run (the real way to calculate loss) depends on your pace and weight.  If you weigh 180 lbs and run a 9 minute mile, you'll burn about 119 calories.  Hence, you'd need to run 15 miles or for 135 minutes to burn your half pound of fat.Meeting your goal for #3 requires that you follow point #1.  Keep your food intake constant. The main wrinkle to add to this is that your fitness will improve if you follow this program religiously.  As you add muscle you'll find that you lose weight even if you don't run, because muscle burns more calories/lb than fat.

Will walking for one hour a day help me reduce weight?

It depends on the diet that you consume, the pace with which you walk, your weight etc.Ideally, if you are walking at normal walking speed (4.5 Kmph) for an hour, you'll cover 4.5 kms which means you will burn around 300 calories which is as good as running for 15-20 minutes. at speed of 7+But if your weight is more, say over 100 KG, you will burn more calories whereas if your weight is less, say <60 KGs, you'll burn much lesser calories. I have explained the situation in which your weight is 85 KGs.Also, to lose weight, losing calories isn't enough, you need to make sure you don't consume more than usual diet so that the calories are actually reduced. Suppose you burn 300 calories one day and consume 400 extra calories than your usual diet, you will not lose any weight but its good for maintaining the weight and avoid increasing it. If you stay on balanced diet, avoid fastfood, soda, chocolates etc (calories rich fatty food) you can easily lose weight by 1 hour of walking each day. The impact will be shown on weighing machine in two weeks. (should lose around 1-1.5 KG ideally)
