How Long Will Mail Take To Get To Mule Creek From San Francisco

What Mountain range runs through Arizona?

For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/awmod

Mountain ranges don't simply spring up and occur, they happen over a period of hundreds of millions of years. Therefore, your question as presented does not make sense. A trail is simply something designated by man and is used primarily in the sport (or for fun) of hiking. There were three trails that were newly designated as National Scenic Trails (as is the Appalachian) in 2009, which is probably how you meant your question. These were: Arizona National Scenic Trail (Huachuca, Santa Rita, and Rincon Mountains; then through the Santa Catalina north of Tucson and the Mazatzal Mountains). Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail (It traverses the Rocky Mountains, Selkirk Mountains, Pasayten Wilderness, North Cascades, Olympic Mountains). New England National Scenic Trail (It runs over the Metacomet Ridge, through the highlands of the Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts, to the summit of Mount Monadnock in southern New Hampshire). If you heard of a new trail in the vicinity of the Appalachian Trail, then The New England National Scenic is probably the one. SD

Anyone know any weird or obscure laws that still exists?

More wacky laws from California:

It is a misdemeanor to shoot at any kind of game from a moving vehicle, unless it's a whale.

In Pacific Grove, molesting butterflies can result in a $500 fine.

In Pasadena, it is illegal for a secretary to be alone in a room with her boss.

It is illegal to set a mousetrap without a hunting license.

In Long Beach, it is illegal to curse on a mini-golf course.

In San Francisco, it is illegal to wipe one's car with used underwear.

It is illegal to cry on the witness stand in Los Angeles.

It is illegal to eat oranges in a bathtub.

Due to the ambled name of "Texas Instrument," the TI-82,TI-83,TI-83+,TI-86, and TI-89 were all banished from California. If caught with one, 4 weeks of prison is assigned.

In Ventura County, cats and dogs are not allowed to have sex without a permit.

Is the drive from Phoenix to Sedona to Grand Canyon difficult?

If you get a rental, it would be wise to get a small SUV with 4X4, just in case.

If it's a clear and sunny day, then this drive I'm about to suggest is absolutely lovely. I have taken it several times, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it as well. Take highway 17 northbound from Phoenix. Approx 98 miles up the highway, you'll see the turnoff for State Route 179. Take it north through the village of Oak Creek (a tiny, picturesque little place just outside of Sedona), and then merge onto State Route 89A into Sedona. Plan on lots of traffic as you enter town, and just take your time. Everywhere you look, you'll see the red rock formations that make this place so special, so PLEASE try very hard to keep your eyes on the road.

If the weather permits, getting to Flagstaff and on to the Grand Canyon from Sedona is best accomplished by staying on route 89A. This is a two lane (that's one lane in each direction) road that meanders along Oak Creek, past some small meadows, over bridges, and through some of the most breathtaking scenery you'll ever see anywhere. The road itself can get a little windy in some places, but even someone who hasn't driven regularly in several years can handle it. It's not like you'll be doing hairpin turns or anything that extreme ... but it is not a straight, four lane blacktop. It's a small road, but it is paved all the way, and if it's a clear, dry day with no rain in the forecast, TAKE IT !!!! You'll be glad that you did. What's a few curves? You can handle it - I promise you!

If the weather is less than perfect, get to Sedona the same way as described above and do your sightseeing. Then when you're ready to hit the road towards the Grand Canyon, head back the way you came, get back on highway 17 and continue northbound into Flagstaff, and then head west on Interstate 40 from Flagstaff. When you get to Williams, just follow the signs (because I don't remember the actual name or number of the road to take, but seriously ... the signs directing you to the most amazing place in all of the West are everywhere) northbound to the Grand Canyon, and have an adventure.

This second route is all interstate and less picturesque, but it's also much quicker than 89A.

Happy motoring - and reeeeeeeeeeelax, Max !!
