How Long Would It Take To Walk From Arizona To Iowa

Can I use a temporary Arizona driver's license to get into Arizona bars?

Arizona has enacted a new law prohibiting use of vertical ID's for the purchase of alcohol. I went to the MVD to get a new ID and was disappointed to learn that it would be mailed to me (instead of walking out with it). They gave me a temporary driver's license with a photo and birth date. Will this be enough to get me into bars and purchase alcohol?

How long will it take for mail to arrive in Texas from New York?

Which mail service are you using? That will determine how long it takes.I’ll assume USPS rather than Fed Ex or UPS (both of which do have letter services).Express — Guaranteed by noon the next day if you drop it off before 3pm. By noon on the second day if dropped off at the post office after 3pm.Priority is 3 to 5 days, NOT guaranteed. It could take up to 10 business days.First class & Parcel Post can take up to 10 business days. — Note that word BUSINESS days. Do not count Saturday or Sunday, and do not count any holidays for which the post office is closed. November is particularly bad for mailing things because there are two Federal Holidays. Something dropped in the box on November 15th may not arrive until November 29th. Only after that date will the post office begin to look into the matter.

How long does a car ride from Los Angeles to New York take?

Non stop? About forty hours, not including traffic, stopping for gas, that one time you missed the exit so you had to circle around, stopping for meals, and when you get pulled over for speeding in Kansas. So about two full days, maybe three. In practice, you’ll probably want to stop to sleep, so six days instead of three. Nine if you don’t like staying in a car for 12 hours at a time. Unless you have to get across in a certain timeframe, I would recommend taking two weeks to a month to kind of enjoy a trip across the country. Take a a day or two to see Chicago, Denver, Salt Lake City, maybe even stop in Las Vegas. If you’re on a tight schedule, maybe take a flight, as the flight itself is only six hours. Assuming your vehicle has somewhere around a 300 mile range, and a tank of gas is around $40, you’re looking at about $400 dollars to drive before tolls, stimulants, and other miscellaneous vehicle expense. Or the price of a non-stop, 6 hour ticket between the two cities in coach. If you’re willing to go cheaper, and don’t mind a long connection, you can get flights that are even cheaper and are still faster than driving.

Driving on the freeway at 70 miles per hour how long will it take you to travel 70 miles?

Read the problem aloud to yourself, with emphasis on the units. How long to go 70 miles at 70 miles per hour? 70 miles per hour means that each hour, the car will travel 70 miles. It should come as no shock, then, that it will take 1 hour to go 70 miles. Read that a few times until it really sinks in. If you're studying algebra or physics:Speed is a rate. Start with the definition of rate:(rate) = (distance) / (time)r = d/tSolve for time.t = d/rSubstitute.t = (70 miles) / (70 miles/hour)= (70/70) (miles/(miles/hour))= 1 hourNotice how the units cancel to give hours. Arguably, rates are one of the most useful concepts you'll ever learn. They're everywhere. The speed of your car, the price per gallon of gas, your hourly wage, the time until you can retire -- these are all rate problems. If you don't learn this concept well, people will systematically take advantage of you for the rest of your life. This is one topic where it pays to pay attention. Good luck.

If your driving 75 miles per hour, how long does it take to go 39 miles?

Can you be naked in your own back yard?

I've heard some things about this that, to be honest, quite irritates me. People say (don't know if it's true) that if you can be seen, than it's illegal because it is indecent exposure. Well, take this for example. If your back yard has a fence all the way around it (which is required where I live) and it is of the required height (over 6 feet) than how are you "exposing" yourself. Some one would have to intentionally look into your backyard, which they shouldn't do. The thought that it is illegal because people should have the right to look in your private back yard without seeing the owner of the backyard naked makes me furious. But like I said, I don't know if this is the law which is why I'm asking.

My back yard is completely fenced around with tall fencing. I have two neighbors who both have tall balconies that can easily see into my backyard. Also, our neighbors house behind us is on higher ground and can also see into my backyard. Could I still legally be naked in my own private backyard? I don't see why not because It is an invasion of privacy to look in other's backyards, if they don't want to see you naked then they shouldn't look.
