My English teacher said there is no creativity in maths or science? What example can I prove her wrong with?

Creativity is not bound by subjectsThat is the beauty of creativity. To think beyond the given dogma and create a new idea is creativity. To say that any particular discipline is more creative and, certain other is less creative is like saying that apples are tastier than oranges, or mangoes are more unpalatable than guava. In the field of mathematics Rene descartes is a renowned name. His creativity lies in thinking of a Cartesian plane, which we all now use for simple graphical representation in 2D. He gave the innovative use of x axis and y axis and we all know how demonstrative these are. There are numerous other names you can know about, who bedecked mathematics with their creativity.Isaac NewtonWilhelm Gottfried LeibnitzLeonhald EulerEuclidAryabhattaJoseph Louise LagrangeAnd many more….In the field of science too, we have many giants to name.To compute the charge of an electron, ot require a creativity of quite complex nature, along with deep knowledge of fundamental sciences. Milikan’s oil drop experiment reeks with creativity. The creativity of Michael Faraday to unite electromagnetism with light, only to be mathematically proved by James Clarke Maxwell, is not a feat to be accomplished in absence of creativity.Science is riddled with many creative geniuses. NamelyJon Snow, the father of epidemiologyCharles DarwinAmbrose PareArchimedesGalilio on telescopesAlexander Graham Bel’s telephoneJohn Logie Baird’s televisionEtcAre the inventions like radar, cars, aeroplanes, internet, computers etc without an inkling of creativity?Inventions and discoveries are only done by the most creative, because even chance discoveries need a creative mind, which can comprehend the meaning of the event that has chanced upon him.Be it any field, creativity is required in all.Sciences, mathematics, languages, all are useless without creativity!
