How Many More Days Until Season 3 Of Orange Is The New Black Is Out On Netflix I Want To Start A

Because Season 3 wasn’t TV. It was a novel. It was a book in the sense that it was thematically guided and tightly wound at the expense of shock value and urgency. The themes are faith and motherhood, and the intertwining of them to the point that when everyone is finding themselves in the blur, here comes Piper sitting in an auditorium weaving an infinity symbol into her body. She “trusts no bitch” and trusts no God because she’s the bitch. She’s her own God. And it began way back in the Mother’s Day episode. The other inmates have strong opinions about the relationships with their mothers, or at least its a relationship that will come into play as they counter the question of faith. Piper and Alex know where they stand with their mothers and so as far as they’re concerned, it’s not even worth exploring. That’s why in the end, while almost everyone else is taking part in the miracle at the lake, Piper’s into herself while Alex might straight up be killed. Piper and Alex didn’t feel like stomaching dinner, so they don’t get to enjoy dessert. And then the whole thing at the lake was out of a Bible story too. With Red and Norma — two of the prison’s strongest mothers — overseeing the miracle. Norma represents Jesus this season, and like Jesus, she doesn’t talk, so speaking for her and doing her organizing is Leanne, who represents the Fox News wing of Christianity. “That’s the problem, ain’t it?” Poussey said. “It’s supposed to be about Norma but instead it’s all about you.” And so when Norma kicks her out, it’s like Jesus coming back to purify Christianity. Of the bigots. Creating a new 2.0 form of this faith that works for everybody. Like a book, Season 3 is something that you have to watch all the way first and then think about or it doesn’t work as well. Other seasons are engaging almost immediately, enjoyable without having to watch it twice.

Season 1 - late September to ChristmasSeason 2 - late January to very early AprilSeason 3 - Mother’s Day until early AugustSeason 4- August through SeptemberSeason 5 - Most likely in early October. This entire season takes place in three days time. Three days. Thus allowing for story lines involving the use of cellphones and general survival given that they have no chargers, and only a limited supply of foodSeason 6 — October for a while and then November because there’s a Halloween episode and there’s still about eight episodes left after that, and in the finale they’re outdoors for a lot of it and it looks like it’s getting cold.Typically every episode picks up seconds after the previous one, and a week passes during each episode. Exceptions include 1) Season 2 which had six episodes take two weeks, because the sixth one is valentine’s day, 2) when Piper beat up Pennsatucky (a month passed), 3) when Red was in the infirmary (about five weeks), and then 4) Season 4, by the eighth episode it’s really hot out so I’m guessing it’s still August because that’s when they were all in the chain gang and complaining about the heat and the distribution of the spots in the yard that had shade, and it goes into September because Lorna’s sister later on tells her that the reason Vinny hasn’t called her is because “the football is on now, you know how boys are”.

Teens: Have any of you seen "Orange Is The New Black"?

It's the new Netflix show and the whole first season is available on Netflix. It's about a woman named Piper Chapman who carries drug money internationally and gets caught 10 years later, and then has to face time in prison because the statue of limitations for that crime is 12 years. The show focuses on the past and present of all the prisoners she meets, plus her own life.

It is RIDICULOUSLY ADDICTIVE. My aunt is in the show as Red and I'm so amazed by her performance!! It's funny, provocative, sad and totally worth watching, if you ever get the time. Warning, it's rated MA because there's a lot of foul language/nudity/all the other stuff you'd expect would go down in prison. If you're not swayed, go watch it!! It's so good, I watched all 13 episodes in two days.

Other than that....

BQ1: What's your favorite joke?
BQ2: Are you easily offended?
BQ3: Are you pro-life or pro-choice? Keep it civil, please!!

Did Orange is the new Black steal it's concept from the TV show Burn Notice Season 6?

No, not at all.

'Orange is the New Black' is actually based on a book, a true story written by Piper Kerman, a woman from an upper-class background who went to prison (the main character is based on her) back in 2004 after she got caught up in money laundering and drug trafficking. It's got nothing whatsoever to do with 'Burn Notice', and the fact that one of the actors has appeared in both is just coincidence.

Ultimately, Piper will leave when they’re ready to end the show. Her sentencing was 15 months in Federal Prison. Granted that can be reduced for good behavior or overcrowding, it’s not guaranteed. The show has covered Autumn, Winter, and Summer. The first season ended with Christmas. The second was winter because of hints through weather and clothing (more jackets and layers). The third season was spring because of events like Mother’s Day.The fourth season was summer because of hints like clothing (few layers) and it picks up exactly where season 3 left off.Following this timeline, season five should complete her first year in prison, maybe a couple more months if they don’t plan on renewing for a sixth. Assuming Netflix wants to keep its hit for as long as logistically possible, season six would show the completion of her sentence and hopefully some time of her re-assimilating to civilian life.Six seasons is a promising run for a popular show like this. It compliments the story being told well and gives two more seasons to wrap up whatever storylines are currently being developed. However, since it is so popular Netflix might want to cash in the show for all that it’s worth and keep it running for 7–9 seasons. While a show with such a large cast could stand on it’s own, they should stick with Piper’s storyline. It seems unlikely that they would cut her out prematurely unless they try and incorporate her life after prison. They can always have her get caught up in some scheme that adds time to her sentencing.Another alternative is Taylor Schilling decides to leave the show and they struggle for a few seasons before cancelling or it stays successful and it becomes Netflix’s first SOAP Opera.

Season 4 is over and Piper is still in prison. I can't surely tell how much time has passed since she got in. It is clear that Maria and Daya have delivered, so it is clearly over 9 months. Plus, Daya was not pregnant until the middle of season 2, so I'll count that duration as minimum 3 months. Also, whole season 4 has been passed after Daya's delivery; so add atleast 1 month more. So, my guess is Piper has spent atleast 13 months in prison and should be out soon. She was a minor character in season 4 and it won't hurt the show if she leaves in season 5.
