Will nuclear disarmament bring peace to America?
To me nuclear disarmament is a pipe dream and it will not bring peace to America. When you disarm you are opening your doors to invasion from any foreign country, nuclear weapons and a armed population are a deterrent to any foreign invader. But once you get rid of the nuclear weapons, you make it easier for them to invade. I think that Obama has forgotten that everyone does not have our "best interests" in mind. Why is he disarming our nukes when the Russians have NOT FAIRLY DISCLOSED their entire nuclear arsenal PLUS their CURRENT DISCLOSED nuclear arsenal has more nukes than us. The Russians only disclosed a portion of their nukes, while we disclosed all of our nukes, it ain't fair Obama! I am fed up with the pipe dreams and utopian liberal idealism! To Obama: Obama we are a free nation and we need those nukes to deter our enemies. Why have Liberals been giving kids participation trophies just for playing sports?
One of the fundamental tenets of liberal philosophy is that self esteem is more important than anything else. This is what leads to getting awards for "participation" and schools giving students a C for trying even though they really failed. Obama voted "present" most of the time he was in the Senate and he got rewarded with becoming President. When these kids grow up they will compete against other children who will taught that the best person wins and the kids who think "participation = winning" will lose...badly. At that point, their self-esteem will be wounded and they won't understand why they can't just get a "honorable mention" trophy.
How do most Americans stomach the sight of Cabinet members and Congressional leaders heaping exaggerated praise on President Trump, like something out of North Korea?
The same way democrats stomached Obama winning the Nobel Peace prize for being elected. Not a single accomplishment yet the same prize Ghundi or mother Theresa. The same way he bragged about being so transparent and fought every request until the courts required it. The same boast of not a single hint of scandal while the media covered up fast and furious, the IRS going after conservatives, etc. It's is not right on either side, but that is the justification.
