How Many People Actually Save Their Change

How much are people actually responsible for climate change and the ice melting?

That would be the outcome of the Greenhouse Effect. That states that the Earth’s temperature is the result of adding the heat from the Sun and the heat from the Greenhouse Gas Layer. As can be seen in the bottom panel - fluxes are added together. But you can’t do that - fluxes can never be added together under any circumstances - it leads to impossibilities such as 1000 flashlights can create a temperature which is twice that of the surface of the Sun. See John Murphy's answer to How many flashlights (3000C filament temperature) focused on the same spot would it take to achieve 15,000C?This Global Warming scare is just nonsense - just another end-of-the-world scam. Please be aware that in later years the Global Warming scare will probably be regarded as one of the most damaging racist ideas ever to gain credibility. The net effect has been not just to punish the poor in the 1st world with high energy prices - it ensures the poor in the third world don’t get any energy at all. They are (if it escaped anyone’s notice) invariably non-Caucasians .The Germans (of course) are allowed to build coal fired power stations - but not the third world. Thankfully this is now being overturned with Chinese and Japanese finance and technology for coal fired power - but I wonder how many people have been sacrificed to the idea of saving the planet.

Can we really save the planet?

Humans think they are the most intelligent species on earth and they can solve any problem but they have created more problems than solving humans can't even solve problems like poverty, harmful diseases etc around the world these things will go for few thousand years until humans get extinct. What humans are supposed to do is to save natural resources and all species and try to make other habitable planets like earth for all the specie's and give nature a chance to survive for many billionaires because we don't know how long Earth can be a habitable planet I don't think humans can survive that long According to me the only way we can do this is by artificial intelligence training computers to make habitable planets like earth for other speciesWritten 15m ago1 View

How can we save the Chinese people from Communist rule and help make their country a democracy?

In my experience, the overwhelming majority of Chinese, educated and not, do not want democracy. What they want is transparency. They want to know that their government is accountable for following through on the promises they make the people, and that corrupt politicians, libelists, scammers, and crooks will be held accountable and jailed. And to those living in the States or Europe and feel that Democracy is the answer to all of these problems, please take a minute to critically consider your own country and whether or not politics are truly transparent.SOMETHING TO CONSIDER:Most Chinese do not want democracy. Most individuals advocate for changes within their system, not changes of their system. In many ways China’s totalitarianism (not to be read as dictatorship, because they are very different) is more effective than our system. In many ways it is not. Their is no “Mega system” that will fix all the world’s problems, and if there were, it certainly would not be democracy. If we want to help the Chinese people, first we must help ourselves understand them. Learn how Chinese think, feel, and aspire. Learn these things not as an outsider looking in, but as an insider looking around; what I mean by this is to drop your preconceptions and actually interact with some Chinese. Ask how they feel, don’t tell them. Learn how they think, don’t try to change them. Understand what their aspirations are, don’t try to direct them. Then maybe we can help ourselves and them simultaneously by learning the merits of both sides, and the downsides. This is my opinion anyway. I hope this helps!Best wishes!

Are climate change optimists, people who are certain there is still hope to save the earth from global warming, correct?

Yes, in two ways.First, the world will be okay, regardless. It’s quite conceivable that global warming, if left unchecked, would cause the deaths of a billion or two people and ruin the lives of more, but humanity would survive. It’s quite clear that global warming will cause the premature extinction of multiple species, but there will still be plants, animals, fish and insects. But it’s also certainly possible to prevent the worst impacts of global warming. We have the tools. Wind and solar are better and cheaper than ever. Long-distance transmission of electricity is better than ever with HVDC, allowing electricity to flow from wherever it is generated to wherever it is needed. The value we get out of each KWH of electricity is more with each passing year as our efficiency of use increases and our wasteful uses of it decrease. Electrification of transportation has reached the point where it’s broadly equivalent with internal combustion and in a couple of decades it will seem quaint that we were so attached to noisy, polluting internal combustion engines. We’ll still likely see 3 degrees of warming, 60% of the warming which melted the continental glaciers and in a lot less time, and the impacts will be large. We’ll see millions of displaced people, conflict, diseases and famines we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. We’ll see species go extinct that needn’t have. But all but one country in the world have agreed to deal with global warming, and a majority of the economy of that country is in states and cities which take global warming seriously and have committed to doing something about it. Not even the USA can fight against the will of the majority of its people and the majority of its economy. Trump’s ascendance and the current power of the USA’s rich fossil-fuel supporters of the Republican Party are a vagary of the current moment, and this moment will pass. Another Obama won’t come again for years or decades, but the USA will regain its senses, likely in the next election.I have hope.

Why don’t most people change their car’s oil themselves?

Because changing your oil requires you to buy oil and filters. That expenditure alone generally costs almost as much having your oil changed professionally. You might save a few dollars, but you also have to buy ramps to elevate your car, chocks to keep it in place, a filter wrench, a socket wrench (or equivalent), and a pan to catch the oil. You also need to buy a creeper and some kind of light, unless you like squirming around in the dark.If you already own all of those things, then fine, but a lot of people don't. And those people would have to buy all of those and find somewhere to store them. Then, every three to six months, they'd have to go to the auto parts store, buy oil and filters, change into clothes they don't mind getting dirty, dig out all the equipment (if you can't find anything, better buy a new one), get the car onto the ramps, drain the oil, change the filter, add new oil, store the old stuff somehow, clean all the equipment, put it back away, change your cloths and try to clean all the oil off your face and hands (hopefully it didn't get anywhere else), and find a place to dispose of the old oil. That's cost you the best part of an afternoon, and saved you maybe five bucks. Just paying off the cost of buying all the equipment would take you a lot of years. For people who work on cars a lot, and/or really enjoy working on their cars, or who have very few demands on their time, it might be worth it. For the rest of us, the economies of scale make it much more practical for a professional to change the oil in fifty cars, one after the other, without having to dig out tools, change clothes, or make a special trip to dispose of the oil for each car.

I want to change my username on Instagram, but I want to save my previous username too so that anybody else can't use it. How do I do this?

It's very easy and I've followed the same for good number of username. First, you need an email which is not associated with an Instagram account. You can use temp email as well (you can Google it). Now, first change your Instagram username. Once you change it, your previous username will be available publicly. Now, logout of your Instagram account. Once you logout, it'll ask you for login or sign up. Sign up with new email address and claim your username which is now available publicly. You're done!Note: make sure you do this process in one go and don't tell anyone about it, else someone else might claim your username before you can.

How do you check if someone has saved your picture on IG?

Excellent question!A lot of people want to know if someone has actually saved their posts or not. However, there is no way to know who concretely saved your Instagram posts =(The only possible thing that you can be aware of is regarding the number of times your post has been saved. That information can be accessed if you click on “View Insights” on a post you have made. You will only have that option if you have a business account (which I highly recommend EVERYONE to do so).On the attached image you can find an example of all the elements presented on the insights of the post.In this case, this post had 10.7k likes, 380 comments and was saved 3.9k times. However, as mentioned, there is no way which you can access who actually saved your post.Maybe this would be something that Instagram will change in the future.Let’s wait and see =)
