How Many People Actually Think Republicans Have Been In Charge For 25 Years

Why do people that make less than $250k a year vote Republican? It is not in their best interest.?

well firstly, you state that the middle class earns 25,000 to 249k a year... hello, the middle class low point is 50,000.. i make 31,000 a year and I am considered poverty level..... and I have 4 kids... and thanks to the rich.. and the oil companies, i spend more money on gas than i do food to feed my kids... voting republican in todays society is just a bad move to make.. period !!! regardless of your income...

Why are many republicans greedy?

They aren't. I think you will find that, statistically, they are less greedy than Democrats. they tend to give far more to charity and greed has nothing to do with anyone joining the party..

A simple disagreement on the best way to help the poor is no reason to paint a whole group in a negative light. Democrats want to help the poor in the short term and keep them beholden to them while Republicans wish to help them in the long term so they can live free from government interference..

Are Republicans judgemental?

Wow - a lot of assumptions on your part. Let me burst your rainbow and unicorn filled bubble.

Nope - never had an abortion
Nope - never had anything to do with another women in a sexual way - don't even think about it.
Nope - I have all my kids
Nope - I didn't get married in a church but I did have a blessing said at my wedding.

I've been married to the same man for 25 years come this August. I am a conservative but not for any of the reasons you mentioned.

Why is Hillary Clinton called a criminal? What has she done exactly?

Hillary Clinton is not a criminal. If she were, we’d all be in agreement on the subject because she’s the most investigated person in American politics today. She’s been investigated repeatedly for 25 years. And nothing criminal ever turns up. Ever. But as to your political views, I think it’s important to realize that this election is about much more than politics. To paraphrase Trevor Noah of The Daily Show, the worst case scenario with Clinton is that we have a bad president. We’ve had bad presidents before. We get over it and get past it.Electing Trump, on the other hand, is very different. I don’t like his politics, but the truth is that’s not the main reason why I don’t want him to be president. The main reason is that he’s mentally unstable and totally unsuited to serve. He’s dangerous. There’s even a credible theory that he may be colluding with Russia to win the election in exchange for annexing some Baltic NATO countries.Frankly, I think it’s every right-thinking person’s responsibility to vote against him. And that does in fact mean voting Clinton, as she’s the only person who can defeat him. Failing to do so would be a terrible failure of civic responsibility in my view.EDIT: The question description has been totally rewritten since I answered. It used to say that the questioner didn’t like her political views, etc. Now it’s about his dad and having people murdered.

Why are so many Republicans narrow-minded? Not curious about the world, etc?

Look up liberal and conservative in the dictionary and you will see broad minded as a descriptive of liberals and narrow minded as a descriptor of conservatives. This is key in understanding the two perspectives. Conservatives are beholding to narrow, dogmatic and traditional view points while liberals are into non-convientional ways of thinking.....Its the one humanity perspective versus the me and mine perspective.

What do you think will be the basic problem of financing Social Security in the next 25 to 30 years?

The biggest problem will be the same one that is facing the system today...legislators who won't keep their hands off the money and policies that allow people to receive the money from a fund they never paid into.

The government has not paid back the money that they "borrowed" from the fund. They passed a law allowing themselves to do so, so it is all legal. If they paid back what they borrowed - or better yet - kept their hands off of it in the first place, we wouldn't have a Social Security crisis. But Congress won't worry about paying it back because they have a different "retirement" plan, so they aren't compelled to fix the problem. They'll promise reforms long enough to get elected and then do nothing.

The system is also paying out money from Soc. Sec. to people who never paid into it; yet, by the time I am old enough to qualify for the funds I have paid, I'll be told that I'm out of luck...that my money has gone to someone else.

Given how corrupted this financial retirement/safety net system has become, who in their right minds would want to turn health care over to the government?

What do you think is the most likely scenario that will end Donald Trump's presidency? (ex. Amendment 25, resignation, etc.)

A lot depends on what Mueller has, and that report could drastically change the outcomes but, as it stands now, several scenarios are possible, listed here from least likely to most likely:He is exonerated in any wrongdoing, continues as president and is perhaps reelected for a second term. This is highly unlikely, given how profoundly damaged his presidency is at this stage and with evidence mounting daily of his complicity in various illegal acts. His administration invokes the 25th amendment and Congress removes him from office. Also highly unlikely, as such a removal must be approved by a two-thirds majority of the House and Senate. Given the profound spinelessness, obsequiousness, and cowardice of the current Republican majority, that would never happen even if Trump stripped naked and started doing the Macarena at the State of the Union address. (The next day Republican leadership would release the results of a Koch Brothers-funded study showing that naked public Macarena dancing is good for the economy.)He is impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors, convicted by Congress and removed from office. A better possibility but still a long shot given the aforementioned cowardice of the current Congessional majority. A much better reality if Democrats take the House and Senate back.Somehow, the people closest to him convince or force him to resign before he becomes the first sitting U.S. president to be taken away from the White House in handcuffs.Trump is just too dumb to see the walls closing in on him, and because he can't keep his mouth shut, he is painting himself into a corner tweet by tweet. Nixon resigned because he knew he could not win an impeachment trial. Perhaps, just perhaps, if Trump sees an angry and vengeful blue wave coming for him, he'll resign and leave the country. But I wouldn't hold my breath.

What Am I, democrat, republican, moderate democrat, etc?
