How Many People Here Are Actually Cm Punk Fans

Is CM Punk really a good wrestler?

CM Punk is cool man.. watch this when you get a chance to see what i mean..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYpT0mPGm38

Why do people hate CM Punk?

CM PUNK actually used his Best in the World gimmick when he started in IWA ect., so he isnt a jericho rip off per se as jericho is the king of the world and the best in the world at what he does, and i also agree the DVD is awesome although i need to finish watching the extras

he's a good heel and knows how to make people hate him

What would it mean for a smaller promotion to sign CM Punk right now? Say TNA, which is by no means a meager promotion, were to sign Punk, and announce Punk vs. Samoa Joe on the night of WrestleMania. Could they actually blow away WrestleMania, something even WCW couldn't do in their heyday?

WWE is a global brand. Millions of people watch it all over the world and it has a level of reach that no other wrestling promotion as of now can match. As much as I would like CM Punk to come back to pro wrestling and wrestle guys like Samoa Joe or AJ Styles, I can't see that happening for these reasons:* Money wise, he will definitely not be compensated like how he was in the WWE. He is financially secure at this point, and I don't really see him risking his health for the money if he already has enough.* If you listen to his podcast with Colt Cabana, you can see that he has become embittered with pro wrestling in general due to his experiences with WWE recently. The man had a staph infection and he was wrestling for months with it. He got his termination papers on his wedding day. I just can't see him coming back when the scars are so fresh. But if a revolutionary new promotion with a lot of ambition came forward and if he gets the motivation and his love of pro wrestling back again, then maybe this may happen. But more likely, a few years later I'm guessing he will show up in WWE again, maybe as an active wrestler or maybe not. Time heals all wounds and he is very passionate about the business. And WWE is the grandest stage of them all. So never say never. What would it mean if Punk joined some promotion?*Mainstream attention, and LOTS OF IT.*The promotion would be able to attract many other talented wrestlers who are not in the WWE like AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Chris Hero, Ricochet, and hey maybe even Alberto Del Rio ( or El Patron as he is known now).*Pure wrestling without any flashy stuff still has a huge following. And Punk along with these guys can really put on awesome matches. With the public appeal of him, they can gather a huge following pretty soon.I would buy a PPV to see Punk. But blow away Wrestlemania? Can't see it happening any time in the next few years at least. It has been around for 30 years and with all due respect, as a CM Punk fan myself, it would take a lot more than him to out gross Wrestlemania.

Why did CM Punk leave WWE?

CM Punk held the WWE Championship longer than anyone else over the last 30 years, yet he never headlined Wrestlemania in that timeframe or even after the fact. We got Cena/Rock twice, even after they released a DVD which basically had the tag line…ONCE IN A LIFETIME. (Yup. Then they headlined Mania again the year after this was done, because Cena had to get his win back and everyone who bought that DVD had to be made a fool of.) Punk left because this company consistently and continuously made an absolute mockery of him despite Punk showing them time and time again, he was one of the best talents they had in the company. He was better than the scraps they gave him and after he lost his title rematch against The Rock in February of 2014, they made him into a glorified midcard guy with a really nice looking resume. Similar examples would be what they’ve done with Jericho and what they’re doing with Randy Orton (once he returns). He was beaten up physically, he was burned out mentally and emotionally he was drained. He gave his all in the hopes that he would be recognized and rewarded for it accordingly, but alas he was not. They short changed this guy time after time and he wouldn’t stand for it anymore.Yes, he was supposed to face Triple H at Wrestlemania two years ago and Punk justifiably refused because three years prior to this when they fought, Triple H won. Why is this a big deal? Because when Triple H beat Punk, CM Punk was the hottest man in the game. Like, white hot. He was two months removed from beating John Cena in one of the best title matches in the last few years or so. I still maintain to this day that what we saw in Chicago for that title match, we won’t ever see again. EVER. That was literally a once in a lifetime deal. In any event, CM Punk left because of those things and a little more. If you look on YouTube, he lays all of this out on a podcast he went on that was hosted by his best friend Colt Cabana.

Was CM Punk's famous pipebomb a shoot? If not, how much of it was unscripted?

The answer is already out there, but I wanted to add that this is what is called a worked shoot. A worked shoot is scripted, but not in its entireity. It is also meant to give the feel of a shoot, to blur the lines between fiction and reality.Punk was frustrated with the company. On that infamous night, Punk was handed what is called an “open mic”, meaning that his promo was not scripted. He was given blanket permission to go out there and air his grievances. I believe they intended to cut him off if he went overboard. If you notice, he broke kayfabe, insulted the companies top tier talents, legends, and executives, but he was cut off when he began talking about the anti-bullying campaign. Obvious, they didn’t want anything tarnishing that.

Do you think they should allow CM Punk to continue to fight in the UFC?

The thing to keep in mind when considering this is that the UFC, in addition to being an athletic organization, is also a business. Even though Phil “CM Punk” Brooks has demonstrated a level of skill far below that of the average UFC fighter, if he is able to draw eyes to the company by his presence alone, he may represent an asset even though his skill set has been demonstrably poor. With that said, he is a very expensive asset, with a reported salary of hundreds of thousands of dollars. The question then becomes whether he is worth the investment. Will enough people tune in to see him fight again to justify the expense of keeping him employed by the company? The answer is difficult.Obviously he is an unranked fighter, and has no place fighting any of the actual contenders of the UFC, but he was never meant to win championships, they were essentially airing what would otherwise be an amateur fight on the basis that it would bring in additional revenue due to his resounding media presence. With that said, after multiple poor performances, people will likely be less willing to purchase or watch a card just based on his presence alone. To make matters more complicated, Punk has done very little in the way of self-promotion, focusing entirely on training. Compare Punk in the UFC to someone like Chael Sonnen or Conor McGregor, who go out of their way to hype their fights in addition to training. Ironically the entertainer is more focused on being an athlete and vice versa. So to answer the question, should they allow Punk to fight in the UFC? There’s no reason not to allow him to, but I think that after his most recent performances, he is no longer the monetary asset that he was previously. If he was to return to the UFC, I would imagine it would only come after contract renegotiation, as the UFC is almost guaranteed to have a diminished return on his presence now that the cat is out of the bag on his limited abilities.

Is this "i caught cm punk drinking a beer" guy really for real or is he another troll in the wrestling section?

Yes hes a 10 year old have you noticed his writing dude can't spell one bit hes a troll people say he has no life

Cm punk punched the wrong fan thoughts?

According to reports from ringsiders, CM Punk was shoved several times by an annoying fan, and even notified security about it (offscreen).

If you look carefully, you can see that Punk was already about to punch the guy when another fan (who was never the target) touched his shoulder.

Seems Punk got the fan he was going for.

Why is CM Punk hated?

i mean he's not overrated, he has good wrestling skills, mic skills, gimmick. he's not a botcher. he's not into drugs. he's not a backstage politician. he is not a child's hero. he's not a 4 move pokemon. he's not a cancer wife cheater. he's not the son-in-law of Vince.

why? just because he won MITB two times in a row?
