How Many Text Can I Text Before It Becomes Pesty

How can I tell someone in a nice way they are texting me to much?

I'm female and I met another female at work 3 months ago ( no homo). We became cool then we both quit after finding new jobs. We continued to be friends and she's a nice, sweet person. The problem is she text me every single day like "hi" etc. I have a BFF who I talk to once every week or two and maybe we text every couple days to catch up, so me and my BFF don't even call/text daily. I am the type of person that will get bored of a female and feel they are becoming a bug a boo if they contact me everyday. I know that sounds mean and I'm not trying to be honestly. She's just becoming a little pesky and I don't want to become distant or start ignoring her but I know I will. How should I tell her, in a nice way, that we do not have to text everyday to be friends without hurting her feelings? Also, she have a boyfriend with no kids and I'm married with four kids. Not that that has anything to do with our friendship but after working 8 hours and coming home to wifely and mother duties the last thing I want to do is be on the phone talking about nothing sometimes. Granted we have things to talk about sometimes but everyday, there's usually nothing to say after small talk ( hi, how are you, how was your day, etc)

Text message from the future? Stranger than normal...?

I got a message from the future as well. I received it Yesterday morning. Not sure exact time. There were two messages no return phone number. The first was dated Sept. 4, 2012 9:27am and the message was simply "@". Then I received three more texts all saying "@" within in the same minute of Sept. 4, 2012 12:33pm. I too have a hacked iPhone with Tmobile 2g. Yes, this is the exact day the Mayan calendar ends and Nostradamus(? on spelling!) predicted the earth would come to an end. It is also freakin' my freak, but I am happy to hear someone else has received it. I thought it was my future self trying to save me :).

My Girlfriend Hides and Deletes Her Texts?

I trust my girlfriend but i cant help but be a bit suspicious about who shes texting or whats shes texting about. We were at a basketball game & i wanted to see her phone to see if she deleted my note or not (i write notes on her phone and she likes to bug me by deleting then xD) but she wouldn't let me, which i found weird because she normally would let me see her phone. So i asked her "jeez trying to hide something there" in a sarcastic voice & she vaguely answered no (it wasnt a serious & definite no). So i was kind of suspicious and asked if she was hiding something in a more serious tone & yet she still replied no the same way as before, as if questioning my trust. Not wanting to blatantly be an *** and say "let me see your texts im suspicious", i pestered her just to let me see her phone to see if my note was there, eventually she gave her phone to me, but not before erasing all of her sent and recieved messages and also locking her picture messages, we've known each other & talked regularly for more than a year and have been together for 3 months, i trust her, but that was so damn suspicious & i dont know what to think or do about it :s

Do many autistic people talk more through text and social media than in person?

Heck. Yes.Pardon my language. For many autistic people, communicating over text is vastly superior. We are usually far more eloquent in text, than in person. When speaking to another person face-to-face, there is little time to consider your dialogue before it is expected of you. But over text, we can take as much time as we wish before speaking. With more time to deliberate, we communicate clearly and effectively. We experience less sensory discomfort, as well. Without having to listen to voices or look at people in the eye, it’s far easier to actually communicate without becoming anxious and overwhelmedThere also isn’t that pesky devil, body language. Neurotypical people commonly cite that “70% percent of communication is nonverbal” statistic. But, since autistic people can’t really read nonverbal cues, we miss that 70%. That means that, over purely-text conversations, we understand 100%, not 30%.While we struggle with reading the tone in text, it can be easier to indicate tone over text than in person.Strategic italics, boldings, or even using *asterisks*, (parantheses), and ~whatever these wiggly things are~ all help express tone over text.In short? Yeah. Text is pretty great.I hope this answered your question sufficiently. If you’d like details on which specific features Autistic people appreciate in text, or any more details in general, please reach out and let me know.

Is it okay to text my boss to ask something instead of calling?

Texting has now become an accepted standard of business communication. However, with SMS and email, there is one important limitation. If the issues is important or time sensitive and it requires a response from your boss, you are required to call. The reason for this is that if it is important or pressing, your job is not only to notify, but to make sure that the message has been received and understood.

If you get a girl’s number, how long should you wait to text her?

Going to be very honest with you.Throw all your games and strategies down the toilet. You want to learn how to deal with girls then honesty is all you need. By saying this, I am not telling you to go out there and tell a woman you find ugly, that she is ugly. Everything needs to be calibrated. If you are into a girl then be honest. Show that you are into a girl. This doesn’t mean you should be all over her. But be honest. The same thing goes with when to phone call, message a girl.Show that you are interest in her. You want to be in her company. This doesn’t mean you should be calling her 20 times a day and firing her phone with 100 messages. Of course, not.So don’t follow the three day rule. Where you only text or call a girl after three days. Guys do this thinking they look cool, that they are showing they have a life, “Oh… I like her but yeah, you know I got be laid back. I can’t show too much interest too soon”The fact is women know that you are playing hard ball. Darn… women are experts in this! And afterward, they either lose their interest on you or they also start playing the same game with you. It’s bullshit! It ruins your relationships with girls and it turns the whole process far more complicated than it really needs to be.Be simple. You like a girl then call her or text her when you want. This can be a 30 minutes or a few hours after you met her. Show that you like her and be interested and curious in wanting to know her.Don’t think about when, what to do, or what comes next. Just be simple. You like a girl then call her. You like a girl then tell her you like her. Be simple.Apply this simplicity into your life and you won’t ever need to spend a single minute of your life reading about pick up or dating tips.As I said, women enjoy the attention as long as it is not overdone and you aren’t all over them.
