How Many Wife Of Motilal Nehru

What is the Muslim name of Jawaharlal Nehru and his family members?

Jawaharlal Nehru was a Kashmiri Pandit and actually belonged to Jammu and Kashmir. He actually belongs to Kaul family from Kashmir. The Muslim name is related to Indira Priyadarshni Nehru, who married Feroze Ghandy. After marriage, she was called Indira Gandhi instead of Ghandy, obviously for political interests. All the future generations are actually Muslim in origin since her marriage was a patriarchy.Below is the hierarchy of Nehru Family as mentioned on Wiki.Raj KaulGangadhar NehruBansi Dhar NehruNandlal NehruMotilal NehruMotilal Nehru— Swaroop Rani NehruJawaharlal NehruVijay Lakshmi PanditKrishna NehruJawaharlal Nehru — Kamla NehruIndira Priyadarshini Nehru (later Indira Gandhi)Indira Gandhi — Feroze Gandhi (Muslim Origin starts)Rajiv GandhiSanjay GandhiRajiv Gandhi — Sonia GandhiPriyanka GandhiRahul GandhiSanjay Gandhi — Meneka GandhiVarun GandhiSource: Nehru–Gandhi family - WikipediaAK

Who is the father of Motilal Nehru?

It is not actually Ghiyasuddin Ghazi, as many sources and propaganda suggest. It is not very rational to claim that the Nehru family lineage is Muslim progeny. This is just a conspiracy theory to associate the Muslim tag to the Nehru family, when Motilal Nehru himself was a Kashmiri Pandit. At best, we could say the surname was Kaul, and it got changed to Nehru because they come from a region close to a Nahar, or Nehar.Apparently, the name of Motilal Nehru's father, or Jawaharlal Nehru's grandfather, is Gangadhar Nehru. The Wikipedia article of Gangadhar Nehru says that he was an Indian Police Officer, serving as the last Kotwal of Delhi in the court of Bahadur Shah II, before the post was abolished following the rebellion of 1857.That is a pretty clean history to go by. However, I came across an interesting article which stated that Jawaharlal Nehru's grandfather was a ‘Muslim'. But certainly there was news about some government IP address editing the article on Jawaharlal Nehru, to place that fact. But we can safely ignore this as some.mischievous act by conspiracy groups only to add more ingredients to the already spicy story of the Nehru family, specially talking in reference to Jawaharlal Nehru.

Was Jawaharlal Nehru a Hindu or a Muslim?

To know more about Jawaharlal Nehru we need to first understand who is Moti Lal Nehru???Motilal Nehru had 5 wives(One real wife Swaroop Rani and 4 other illegal wives)Mrs. Swaroop Rani - (married wife) had 2 children with her 1st Mrs. Krisna wife of Mr. Jaisukh Lal Hathi (Governor) and 2nd Mrs. Vijaylaxmi Pandit wife of Mr. R.S Pandit (High commissioner of USSR). Earlier in life Vijaylaxmi eloped with her half brother Syed Hussian and had a daughter named Chandralekha who was adopted by Mr. Pandit.Mrs. Manjari - Had a child named Mehar Ali Shokhta; was Arya Samaj leaderIranian women, had a child named Muhammad Ali JinnahHouse maid (a muslim servant from Kashmir) also had a child named Sheikh Abdullah (ex Kashmir CM)Thussu Rahman Bai - Already had 2 children from her previous marriage to Mubarak Ali (employer of Motilal Nehru). 1st Jawaharlal Nehru and 2nd Syed Hussain. Motilal inherited the wealth and business from Mubarak Ali who died in mysterious circumstances and kept his wife and children like a true muslim. So, Jawaharlal Nehru and Syed Hussian (who had an illegal relationship with Motilal’s 2nd daughter Vijaylaxmi) was the son of Mubarak Ali and Thussu Rahman Bai.So, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru is indeed a muslim nevertheless he was adopted by Motilal Nehru.

Was Ghiyasuddin Ghazi the real name of Motilal Nehru's father Gangadhar Nehru?

Motilal Nehru wasn't 'Nehru' either;.Let's read his story first-Raj Kaul is the earliest recorded ancestor of the Nehru–Gandhi family. He is believed to have migrated from Kashmir to Delhi in 1716. A jagir with a house situated on the banks of a canal was granted to Raj Kaul, and, from the fact of this residence, 'Nehru' (from Nahar, a canal) came to be attached to his name. Kaul was the original family name; this changed to Kaul-Nehru; and, in later years, Kaul was dropped out and the family name became only "Nehru".Gangadhar Nehru,a direct descendant of Raj Kaul was appointed as the Kotwal of Delhi in the court of Bahadur Shah Zafar.Later when the British troops began shelling their way into the city, he fled to Agra along with his wife Jeorani and their four children.Gangadhar died in February 1861 and his youngest child, Motilal, was born posthumously, three months later. This Motilal was none other than the great Congressman, author of the Nehru Report and the father of our first PM - Motilal Nehru. Hence, the family lineage comes to be Kaul-Nehru with no intervention of Islam in it.Thus,in historical aspects there are almost negligible evidences to the Muslim-Nehru theory. But,what if Nehru was a Muslim ?Motilal would still have been a great lawyer,a great freedom fighter while his son Pt Jawaharlal Nehru would still have been the first prime minister, still a great freedom fighter who spent ten whole years of his life in jail, still the one who established the Indian administrative system and still our beloved “Chacha”.Actually,if you ask me,I would've been happier if he was a Muslim;we would've got some more examples of good Muslims just like Maulana Azad and APJ Abdul Kalam !Then what's the reason behind asking such questions ? I've seen a no. of people asking this question. Why is it so ? Why is it that for the today's Indian population , a person's caste, religion or ancestry is more important than his deeds ? Nehru became Nehru not because of his caste, religion or lineage but only because of his contribution to the Independence struggle and the national development and must be assessed on that basis only.Nehru was neither a Hindu nor a Muslim,he was just a human being.Don't judge a book by its cover,There's a lot inside…Kushagra Singh's answer to What are some fascinating facts about India's North-East?Thank you~Kushagra Singh

Middle East: Jawaharlal Nehru, what is so important about him?

Jawaharlal Nehru was the first Prime Minister of India when India gained its independence from Britain in 1947. It was around that time that Pakistan was formed as a separate country from India.
He was a follower of Mahatma Ghandi who was assassinated before India's independence.
In world politics he was a leader in the non-aligned movement which tried to steer clear of the "cold war" between the USA and the USSR (Russia).

Is it true that Mohammed Ali Jinnah of Pakistan was cousin of Nehru?

Mohammad Ali Jinnah was born to one of the 5 wives of Motilal Nehru. The mother of Jinnah was apparently an Iranian woman. Jawaharlal was already born to another woman before Motilal married her. Hence, Jawaharlal became Motilal’s legal son. Jawahar and Jinnah are related legally as step brothers, but by blood, a little complicated to explain. Sheikh Abdullah (the father of Omar Abdullah) was born to yet another wife of Motilal. Thus you have Jinnah and Sheikh Abdullah as step brothers with Jawahar as another step brother legally. Motilal was a muslim and his father changed his surname to Nehru to escape British wrath for Mughals. Hence, the Nehru family is a muslim family. This info is apparently available from Mathai’s book. M.O.Mathai was the personal secretary of Jawaharlal Nehru.

Why we call our former prime minister jawaharlal nehru as ' pandit jawaharlal nehru ' ?

Mr. Nehru belonged to a cast called Kashmiri Pandit. All people of this caste are addresed as Pandit. That's way our ex prime minister was addressed as Pandit Nehru.

Did Jawaharlal Nehru have a Muslim ancestor named Ghiyasuddin Ghazi?

Maybe!!Nehru family basically belonged to Kashmir. Jawaharlal Nehru  in his autobiography "Meri Kahani" has written that  Farrukhsiyar( He was the Mughal emperor between 1713 and 1719) himself has brought his family to Delhi in late 1716 and settled there. In those days there use to be a Nahar(canal) in Chandni Chowk and because of the Nahar his family became to be known as Nehru. Before the revolt of 1857, Jawaharlal Nehru's grandfather Gangadhar Nehru was a Kotwal of Delhi in the reign of Bahadur Shah Zafar. But when historians explored they found that city's Kotwal was a important position like today's police commissioner and such important positions were only offered to Muslims and essentially to their own Muslim offspring.  A Hindu to be appointed to such an important position was not at all likely. Mughal records also show that such an important position was not given to any Hindu in the reign of Bahadur Shah Zafar. After enough investigation it was found that two Nayab(deputy) Kotwal were Hindu. Their names were Bhau Singh and  Kashinath and they were posted in Lahore Gate, Delhi. But no record of a person named Gangadhar were found. The historians have confirmed that Ghiyasuddin Ghazi was the name of city Kotwal in that time.In the mutiny because of the awful carnage many families along with his family were completely ruined and all the documents and letters related to his family were destroyed. In this way after losing everything they fled to Agra and they started a new life there..
