How Many Years Of High School P.e. Do You Need To Graduate In Wa

How can I graduate early from high school?

Perhaps the most important issue to consider is - what do you want to do after you graduate. If you want to work, you may be too young for numerous jobs. If you want to go to college, consider in which colleges you’re interested, which major and what high school course work would help you for these majors.I graduated high school early, at the end of my junior year, because my situation at home was difficult. My parents were fighting, blamed it on me, and threatened to kick me out of the house. I offered to finish high school a year early, and leave in a few months. However, I really did not take course work that would have helped me in college (I attended Reed college, a tough school). In high school, I had time for only geometry, trig, and algebra 2, but not pre-calc, which I would have taken my senior year. If I’d had pre-calc (or better yet, HS calc - not offered then), it would have been very useful for my college courses. Also, I’d taken biology and chemistry, but not physics. Again, taking HS physics would have made my college course load easier.I did well in high school - in my junior year, I had the top scores, in my school of about 2,000 students, in both the math and English SAT tests, as well as a 5 on my English AP exam. (The only AP course offered at the time in my high school in California in 1969).If you can take courses at a nearby college, you may make friends there with whom you are more compatible. This could help you decide on a college major, and better prepare you for college studies.Good luck!

How do I start a badminton club in my high school?

It is actually quite straight forward to start a team.I did it several times.First, find several other people in your school who are interested in badminton as a sport.   You will need an absolute minimum of four people (two singles and one doubles team), and you should start with 6 to 8.  Once you have 6 to 8 people who are interested, then go see one of your Physical Education teachers and find out if she/he is willing to let you use some of the facility space for your team to practice and play.  If the PE teacher does not know anything about teaching/playing competitive badminton, then see if there is another teacher in the school who will be willing to coach or at least supervise your team. Then with the PE teacher and the "team supervisor", you need to sit down with the school's athletic director and get final permission to use the facility at certain times during the week.   You may have to get some donated equipment to start with, as most schools have limited athletic budgets.   Indeed, many public schools Charge team members to play a sport, therefore, in the beginning, you may need to buy all of your own equipment (the buy in portion).First you will practice and play among yourselves.   Once you have demonstrated to yourselves, that you understand competitive badminton, then you will reach out to other schools in your area to schedule a scrimmage against their team.   If no other schools have a badminton team, then you will need to scrimmage against local amateur teams. Eventually, you will need to start an informal league, with at a minimum three other schools.   If your regional sports group (PSAL) does not have a badminton sport season, then you may need to increase your informal league to at least eight teams, and then approach the PSAL to allow you to compete as a "varsity team".   However, that last step, may take Years.   For now, get at least 6 (preferably 8) students together who know a little about badminton, and get a badminton club/team started in your school.   How it grows will take time.   At first, you may only have intramural badminton in your school (several teams of students competing against each other), and then as your numbers increase and as the quality increases, you can get an "all star team" from the intramural program and start playing other schools. It all depends on the amount of badminton that is played in your local area. All the best.

What Seattle public high school has the best arts education?

RSAR (Renaissance School of art and reasoning) in SAMMAMISH, WA (20 minutes from Seattle) in LWSD (lake Washington School District). The school is public. There's a supplies fee of $250/year and a camp fee of $250. It's a Choice school that specialized in art in all that they do. For example, a science project would be a diarama and p.e. is dance class. They have many field trips and several stage shows each year. There are 98 kids total. It's a middle school so 6–8grades. Mostly girls. Students are chosen by lottery.….I just saw that you wrote high school. I recommend Redmond High School. They specialize in performing arts. Again a suburb but it's highly common to include suburbs when talking about Seattle.

Is it okay for a 15-year-old girl to date a 22-year-old guy?

A2AThe only advice I have to the girl isDear GirlSo you think you have found love? So did I, when I was 17 and dating a guy for whom I was fightimg with my family. He was of the same age as me but then, I was just 17. I was living in a fairyland. He used to say that he loved me day and night. And maybe he did. I was very ambitious. I wanted to become something while he just wanted to play computer games and feed off his parents money.I started detesting him because I felt stuck in a place I didn't belong. But I couldn't leave him because he became my emotional anchor. Just like you I had fought with my family for him and I no more had any other emotional backing.Eventually I did breakup. But I stayed in an unworthy relationship for more than necessary and it hampered my life. In your case, you are 15. Barely in school. You need to sort your career end or else you'll end up in a BPO, just like your love. Not that there is anything wrong in it but then it is not a fulfilling career at all. All you do is jabber on the phone. You have so much potential. You could be anything you want. But I see he wants you to be a housewife. Darling, a BPO salary cannot suffice for a decent life. Forget all the luxuries your parents are givingyou. I mean how stupid can you get? A man is telling you to be a housewife and you agreed? Do you have no dreams of your own? Alas, love makes you insane. Also know that being 15,makes you gullible and naive. He is 22. He obviously has sexual urges. You of all are just 15. Do not let him fool you in thinking that if you love him, you need to prove it by letting him kiss you, touch you, or have sex with you. It's illegal and by Indian Penal Court be termed as Rape.I understand age doesn't matter in love but here it does. He has achieved maturity, you haven't. And why did he fall in love with a kid? He could have made a GF of his own age.Move out of the bubble. You delay this any sooner and you'll regret it all your life. Your days of career are fewer. Make use of them. Our parents are not fools when they stop us. I still regret not listening to them. Don't do this same mistake. Just don't.I know breaking up is hard. But it's the best. Just tell him you wouldn't let him touch you. Most probably he'll break up.Yours sincerelyDSD

Do high school guys in Australia shower after gym class or sports practice?

I'm a 16 year old guy who will likely be moving to Australia in the very near future for my dads job (family is already applying for visas), I have a few personal err embarrassing questions to ask. At my US high school we (us boys at least) usually shower in the locker room after gym class and sports practice, I currently run cross country, track and am in wrestling. It's not mandatory and I know it doesn't happen at all schools but that's just how it is at my school and not all guys shower. So, If I went to a high school (is that what they call it in Australia? high school, or is it referred to something else like "secondary school" or something?), would I be ok to bring a towel, soap, shampoo a complete change of clothes etc..?? Or would I be the only guy trying to shower after gym class? Another weird thing, a girl I know said all guys in Australia wear briefs only and that's the only kind of underwear they sell. Is any of that true?, I find it hard to believe! I wear boxer briefs but have some briefs for sports and some boxer for just lounging around. Would I be made fun of for boxer briefs or boxers?? I'm not too worried about making new friends just want to avoid some the uhh "personal choices" embarrassing moment if you will! Thanks for your answers!

Do children still say the pledge of allegiance in school?

Yes.As mentioned in another post, students are not required to stand or recite the Pledge of Allegiance. There are, however, state-by-state rules regarding how frequently the opportunity must be given (in general, the Pledge is read over the school loudspeaker, and students and staff recite it while it is being read, facing an American flag.) In Washington State, for example, schools must do this at least once a week, although usually schools do it every day. Some students stand and recite it with their right hand over their heart, some students stand while it is being read, and some students choose to remain seated. The number of each category depends on the region. At a school I went to where most students’ parents worked for the military, it was considered very disrespectful to remain seated. At another school I went to, it was somewhat common.

How many courses can you take per semester with K12 (CAVA) high school?

I am doing WAVA (washington virtual academy. I am a freshmen so I take 6 courses. Geometry, English, Biology, Washington State History (requirement. I think they have that at CAVA too). I also take PE and an extra elective. In the second semester, I can take a few more electives because of WA state History (it is a 1 semester course). Normally you take about 6 or so.
