How May The Usa Change Relations Should A New Government Go Astray After American Involvement

Why aren't the native Americans whining?

Despite what you may believe a lot of us do not live on or have ever lived on a reservation. It is a very small percentage of us that actually have ownership in a casino. You'll only hear about all the bad stuff but many of us (myself my brothers sisters cousins are the first in our family to not have full Native American blood.) have good jobs, own our own businesses and do well in society without hand outs. It's just like with ANY other race, people are people in the end and you have your whiners, racists, idiots and generally awful people. I think a lot of people get jealous because they think that Native Americans have casinos and college educations handed to them at birth! Well that is not the case. The only part of any casino I own is through stock that was purchased with money that I earned at a job that I was able to get from the education that I paid for. Ignorance and Intolerance are the reason why we have prejudice in our society and hundreds of years ago most of my ancestors families were slaughtered because they did not believe the same way that these people did that came to this land. Ironically these murderous people came here for religious freedom. These people came and took without asking killed without conscience, they were the for fathers of this country and they stole the ability for future generations of Native Americans to thrive and that is why reparations are being called for by Native Americans.

What is the view of Americans on what is happening in Venezuela? Is this more foreign policy for a regime change?

Due to the mainstream media, most have no idea that it is even happening. You would think that this should be front & center, but it’s not because it goes against the narrative of the socialist left. Nobody wants to talk about it, because they don’t want to admit that it is happening. It’s hard to preach for economic equality, free healthcare, free college, free everything, when, yet again, we’re watching socialism FAIL miserably.Venezuela, as an example, should be something about which ALL Americans know, and they should be watching very closely. This is the direction the USA are teetering toward right now, and it is incredibly dangerous. Obamacare should have been the first clue that it can’t/won’t work, but it’s falling of deaf ears.Venezuela was one of the weathiest countries in the Western Hemisphere in the mid-90s. What happened? There will be two narratives taken here:Socialism (by the right)Oil prices dropped (by the left)Oil prices dropping certainly didn’t help matters, but it shows how fragile a country can be when they have too much money tied up in redistribution and other socialist programs. And, even though they are the most oil-rich country in the Western Hemisphere, they were not able to save ANY money? Two years of low prices completely collapsed the economy? Or, was there more to it?The point of the above graphic is to show just how quickly the wheels can fall off. Inflation is out of control in what was once a great nation. It’s only been 20 years since Hugo Chavez instituted a socialist regime, and it is now run by (dictator) Maduro who, apparently, is controlling the election and capturing/jailing the competition. And here we are, with people hunting stray animals for food and sifting through garbage. According to a colleuge of Ben Shapiro, people are lining up at bakeries, not for bread, but for a chance to go through their garbage… Yes, a line to go through garbage to look for food.Venezuela; once great country, now, falling to pieces. Where is the media? Why do they care so little? Why is this never on anyone’s Facebook page? Because they would rather complain about Trump, cry about Hillary, boy who cried “Russia”, and continue living in a bubble that solves less problems than it intends to fix. Ignoring the truth seems easier than spewing conjecture.

Is it time 2 start shunning people who R police men, refusing their business in our stores, restaurants etc, until they behaving more humane?

Russ in NOVA-
They aren't always shooting hardened criminals, Russ.
They often go over-board because they ego issues.
There are hundreds of youtube videos of cops going to
extreme, beating tasing and shooting people because of
a traffic stop where THEY escalated the situation. All 350
million American can't be forced to by a kevlar vest just because
many cops have an attitude and an ego problem when a motorist asks
CALMLY "Why was I pulled over, officer?"

When should the United States think about writing a new constitution?

I broadly read this as asking when should we completely rewrite the constitution. My answer is when one or more of the following happens:De facto drift of the interpretation becomes so profound that supreme court's decisions starts to ignore the original intent. There is a definite entropy in the legal system, due to creative interpretation of the US Constitution. A new constitution that is designed to be procedurally unassailable will be needed to reinvigorate the spirit of the original US constitution.Human beings changed at fundamental level. If needs, wants, and power dynamics change between among men, current constitution may have to change. Human beings don't live on sunlight and water yet, so I don't think it's time yet. When Americans no longer desire freedom. I am not joking here, part of US constitution, the Bill of Rights is pretty much the only thing that is keeping the expansion of police state and tyranny at bay. When the executive branch becomes even more powerful. The framers of the Constitution thought that the legislative branch would become tyrannical, so the Constitution was designed to keep their powers in check. The Articles of US Constitution is fairly lax when it comes to limiting the powers of the executive branch. I would welcome revising the parts of the Article II to limit the powers of the executive branch. Thanks for reading.

What was an incident from Martin Van Buren's term where he made an important decision?

Van Buren oversaw the Cherokee expulsion. He sided with the Spanish in the Armistad case.

In 1839, Joseph Smith, Jr., the founder of the Latter Day Saint movement visited Van Buren to plead for the U.S. to help roughly 40,000 Mormon settlers of Independence, Missouri, who had been attacked, killed, raped, and run out of the state from their lands The Governor of Missouri, Lilburn Boggs, had issued an "Extermination Order". It authorized Missourians to "exterminate" Mormons and encouraged them to do so. Smith and his party begged Van Buren to intercede for the Mormons. He reportedly told Smith, "Your cause is just, but I can do nothing for you. If I take up for you I shall lose the vote of Missouri.

Had he decided differently in any of these cases, he might have made pollitcal enemies, but he would have created a climate of tolerance that would have changed the moral character of the country. Had he done so the riights of minority citizens would have been recognized a hundred years before the civil rights movement.

Because his and Jacksons policies lead to moral and financial collapse, Van Buren only served one term in office, any way.
