How More Intense Is P90x2 Compaired To P90x

P90X, P90X 2, or Insanity?

I've tried all and I will give you my recommendation.

P90X2- Sequel to P90X, if you've done intense workouts before and your body is used to working out hard 5 days a week. Get P90X2, most current up to date workouts. Was released december 2011

P90X- If you've never worked hard before, or are new to working out. Start with P90X, will get you toned, gain muscle & even lose some weight if needed. Best all around program

Insanity- If your looking to lose weight or get really toned, do Insanity. It doesnt have any extra equipment just your body weight!

What are the main differences between the P90X, P90X2 and P90X3?

I have completed all three programs mulitple times. All three programs have a variety of workouts on offer. All three are designed for muscle building and weight loss; however, each program has some strengths and weaknesses:Pound for pound P90X is the best overall program for muscle building and weight loss. This program is sufficiently difficult to challenge someone who is already in shape but is also doable for someone looking to get in shape; the trainer provides you with modifications to virtually every exercise if needed. Tony Horton’s humor starts to wear a little thin the 30th time you go through a workout video though. SO i just print the workout sheets off and go from these. The yoga workout is absolute hell in this program.P90X2 was designed around the concept of building athleticism as opposed to just working towards weight loss; its workouts are much more technically demanding than those presented in P90X. For example, instead of doing push ups from bars or the floor you complete pushes from various positions using medicine balls. The pull ups are also more technically challenging; and there is a ton of core exercises that places a lot of demand on one’s back. For this reason Tony recommends you take two rest days in a 7 day training block. The final traing block in p90X2 with the focus on eccentric lower and upper workouts is easily the toughest block out of all three programs. I definitly impoved my core strength using this program.P90X3 was designed more or less as workout program for people who want to work hard but do not have the time to spend an hour plus every day. Workouts are 30 mins in length. If you want results though, you have to increase intensity. The MMX fighting workout is very challenging physically speaking; and the Challenge is uber tough (it is similar to a ‘merc’ worjout where you complete as many push ups and pull ups in 30 mins as possible).SummaryP90X is the best program for looking fitter. P90X2 is the best for building athleticism and core strength. The yoga workout for this program is doable and challenging. P90X3 is good for the time strapped person. I would complete them in order; they seem to complement one another.

Is Insanity better than P90X?

It depends on your goals? Building muscles or losing fat? Increasing your cardiovascular ability, being in the best shape of your life or just want to lose fat and gain some muscles? Insanity has probbaly by far the best cardio out of all of the at home workout programs. It is very hard. Even if you run every day and when you first start insanity you will be challenged. P90X cardio is very easy but you will definitely build more muscles with P90X. If you are not new to lifting, I would say P90X is not a great muscle building program but it does help you get toned and lose weight. My suggestion is if your goal is to improve your cardio then insanity but if your goal is to improve your muscle and you are new to lifting then p90X. Both are great and I can always mix them together. There are hybrid programs for both.

What is better: P90X or Freeletics?

None of thatMy vote goes to TKworkouts 'Athlean Xero'.I've done it, and really helped a lot, even though I didn't follow the diet advice properly. The workouts hit your entire body, and they definitely make you stronger and more muscular. The conditioning is staggering. I ran from my friends' home at a very high speed only 2 weeks into the program, and I didn't even breathe hard.A single training session is done in under and hour, sometimes even less than half an hour. The diet advice is sound, and they give you meal options which can be swapped out at your convenience, including vegetarian and vegan possibilities. No calorie counting necessary. What strikes me as particularly well-done is the way that the program integrates your environment into the exercises. You literally don't even require a pull-up bar.

Is doing P90x forever a good idea?

Yes and no.IF you enjoy the workouts and still feel like they are helping you attain your fitness goals, then keep doing them.IF you are growing bored with them, then consider getting either the P90X2 or P90X3 programs. I have completed all three many times over. I actually mix and match workouts from the different programs. depending on where I am at in a training block or how I am feeling on any given day.The important thing is to stay active.

Which is best, Insanity, AthLEAN-X, P90X, or P90X2?

Athleanx workouts are about 20-30 min a day 5 days a week (weekends off) the others are every single day for 1 hour. AthleanX comes with an easy to follow meal plan, P90 and Insanity have recipes and a hard sell for you to buy their supplements (shakeology). They're a total racket. I've done them all. AthleanX is the only one that I was able to build muscle on AND still have a six pack. I got skinny on P90X for sure but I lost alot of muscle as well. I was down to like 150. I'm 5' 7". After 2 rounds of AThleanX i'm up to 170 with 8% body fat. It's also hard to stick to P90X. I don't want to take a DVD player everywhere I go and I don't want to workout every single day for the rest of my life. Basically, Insanity and P90X were products created by a large corporation to make money selling "fitness" to fat people. They're not real training solutions, they're products. The guy who created AthleanX trains pro athletes for his job, he's not a pitch man. It's real training, not jazzercise that you do in your living room in front of the tv.

Rushfit, P90X, Insanity, or Tapout XT?

I've done P90X, Insanity, and Tapout XT and I've gotten great results from all of them. It really depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking to slim and tone, then Insanity is definitely the best bet because it is all cardio. It's also only a sixty day program while the other two are ninety days. P90X and Tapout XT are both very balanced, with P90X leaning a little more towards the strength side and Tapout XT a little more towards the cardio side, so if you're looking to bulk up, either of those are good choices.

It also depends on how much you're willing to spend on equipment. Insanity uses only your body weight, so the only thing you'll have to buy is a yoga mat for ab exercises. Tapout XT will require a yoga mat and a few resistance bands of varying intensity. P90X will require at least a yoga mat and several resistance bands of varying intensity, however, if you go the band route, you may have to do minor construction on your house to get them to properly hang from the ceiling. If you don't want to use bands, you can instead buy a pull up bar and a few dumbells of different sizes. I recommend using hex-shaped ones since this will allow them to double as push up bars, which P90X also suggests you use.

In the end, I think Tapout XT is your best bet because it has the lowest cost and is effective for those that want to slim and tone as well as for those that want to bulk up. That certainly should not take away from any of the other choices though, as they're all highly effective.
