How Much Can You Earn A Day For Working Part Time/full Time At A Simple Normal Cafe In Australia

I'm an international student. How can I find part time job in Australia?

I am an international student at Melbourne. At Australia , if you need to find a good part time job , you need reference. When i came to Melbourne i could not find any jobs in the initial days as i had no body to refer me.I started applying jobs in SEEK, indeed , Gum tree and so many other local job search engines. But i started getting rejection mails. Then i decided to go with my resume to the shops , petrol pumps and super markets. I was lucky enough that one guy whom i met at COLES (Leading Supermarket Giant) at Australia gave me his Team leaders number and i ringed him several times and finally i got a chance for the interview. Its since 8 months i am working for COLES.You can search jobs in online sites like SEEK , indeed , Gum tree. But personally getting a good paid job from these sites without reference is hard. so the best advice is to take a good resume and cover letter and to go and meet store managers in person and they will give you an opportunity to attend interview if they have vacancies. You can apply for certificates like RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol Courses) which can help you in fetching handsome paid jobs during some big events managed by Massive event management team(Atlantic Group Weddings.)Never get disappointed. I have few friends who could not find any jobs in the first few months , but when they got jobs the pay was super cool. The cash in hand jobs pays the lowest wage at Australia. Main part time jobs at Australia are as follows.Desktop analyst (Pay $20–35)Research assistantsUniversity jobs (Best Jobs)Supermarket(Coles , Woolworth ) , Pay ($19 -$21.9) basic. On Sunday's and public holidays it goes up to $34, $55 per hour.Car washWaitress/ Wait staffWarehouse(loading and unloading)Delivery driver ( Vic licence is required mostly)Uber eats Sign up to drive with UberCleaning jobsPetrol pumps ( 7-Eleven Good Call™)Small clerical potions. The wages starts from $10(cash in hand jobs ) and can go till $35 jobs which will come to your account via TFN (TFN Australia)All the best.Deepak

How much money can international students earn while working part time in the USA?

I believe you are asking about earnings as an Undergraduate student.  {Because a graduate student should Never pay for their degree and they should always be Paid to earn that degree.  I know no one (personally) who ever paid for a graduate STEM related degree}As an undergraduate you already have proven to the US government that you can pay for All of your college related expenses through Cash that you have before getting that F-1 student visa.   Therefore, you only need a part-time job for extra "spending cash".   It is not the amount of the earnings, but the process. You may immediately work on-campus as an international student.   There are plenty of jobs.  Head over to the athletic center and you can get jobs at current minimum wage to double minimum wage  (even officiating college intramural sports, one can easily make $2,000 per semester officiating intramural sports, for example)In your second year and afterwards, you are allowed to work 20 hours per week while college is in session, and then full time during Summer break or Winter break.   And in addition, you are allowed 12 months (up to 29 months if it is STEM related) for OPT job.Don't worry, you will do fine, as you already have testified and demonstrated to the US government that you need No extra money to survive.  Any extra is Gravy.

How much can an international student earn in part time jobs in australia?

2 factors at play here:Visa conditions - allowed to work 40 hours over 2 weeks (i.e. 40 hours in Week 1 and no work in Week 2, or 20 hours in Week 1 and Week 2, etc.). This is established by the Department of Immigration and Border Patrol.Minimum wage - the prescribed minimum wage here is 20 AUD (with super and other associated costs excluded). As an international student - this is the dream rate you can get (unless you have some real specialist skills that can go for higher.)Based on minimum wage and student visa requirements - approximately 400AUD per week (20AUD per hour * 20 hours per week).Ground reality? You will rarely get the 20 AUD per hour rate - instead you will be offered 10 to 13 AUD per hour. This is illegal - however, the need to cover your LIVING EXPENSES only (NOT TUITION) is important. You’ll take the job and try your hand at other things. Provided you do not violate your visa conditions - you will be fine.

What is the salary for a part time job in Germany?

When I came to Germany, I found a part time job in the second month itself.I worked as a bar tender/waitress. When I went for the interview, the owner could not speak English. We somehow managed. As I had no previous experience in that work and I could not speak German well, I could not ask for reasonable salary.I worked for €6.But I learnt a big deal. I could speak more comfortably and became aware of behaving in German culture.I left the job in a month and joined a newly opened Indian Restaurant. He said I have experience in drinks but not food. And I was still not able to speak German.I again worked for €6.I had issues with manager and could not work for long. Left the job very soon and joined Maritim Hotel.Maritim paid me €9.They didn’t need German. As the work didn’t require speaking at all. I felt I am not learning because I was not speaking at all. The main purpose of working part time, for me, was to learn language. As I was not attending any language school due to lack of money.I left the job and joined a coffee cake Restaurant. This time I found myself very confident and comfortable in understanding what customers were saying. I was making short conversations too. I knew everything about Germans ways of eating out and drinking. I was considered to be experienced. She paid me €10.But she spoke English and I hardly used to get chance to talk to customers and practice German.I left for a better learning opportunity elsewhere.Thereafter, I went to McDonald’s and for the very first time I managed an interview in German very well. The manager didn’t speak English at all. No body at McDonald’s speaks English. They pay €8.9.Currently I work by McDonald’s. I am still new here and learning. As the manager put me on front counter, I am practicing full time with native speakers. While conversing with co-workers, I learn more as they teach me too.Its been eight months since I came to Germany, and most of my time I spent in looking for part time jobs. I am yet to find a job which pays €12.All in all, I think by working part time one can make from €500 to €1500 per month.Edit: Having worked for more than five years in India, I came to Germany on student Visa to study MBA at International University Bad Honnef (IUBH).

How much can an Indian student earn in Australia for his/her studies?

Please do not undertake an overseas degree on this assumption. You will be wasting your time, energy and sanity, alongside the hard-earned money of your sponsor. You will hear many stories of how people worked 3 to 6 shifts a day and saved up 30,000 AUD within 3 months and paid tuition for their course. The people who say this are massively misjudging the effort required to undertake. You are limited by the following factors:Visa conditions - you are allowed to work 40 hours total over 2 weeks. This means at most 20 hours a week. You can always work around this - and sit in fear that the immigration department can easily deport you for this reason. Again, anecdotally people will tell you it’s no big deal - in light of changing policies and local politics - this is being monitored more closely.Hourly rates - You will most likely be paid minimum wage 20AUD per hour - if you are lucky - otherwise, you will take a few dollars below minimum wage (15AUD) to make ends meet. Each subject (at a decent university will cost approximately AUD 3000 or more) - imagine taking 4 courses in a semester - that’s 12,000 AUD (roughly). How long will you need to work? The math is straightforward - a long time. You also miss out on other things when students attempt this - they learn nothing from the degree they are enrolled in, often miss out on important networking events that could land them jobs, and are totally disconnected with the local community. Net outcome - you don’t have money saved up, you’ve done poorly in your course, and you are completely disconnected with the local community because you’ve not had time to interact with them. This type of stress also takes a mental toll on your well-being - what’s the price on that?Studying abroad is an expensive undertaking - it is better to either invest the money to yield profitable results - or continue to save money until you can comfortably afford your expenses.

First day working at Target tomorrow, cashiering?

My actual position is at the cafe in Target but for my first day they have me cashiering. I work a 7 hour shift, will they have me on the register for pretty much the entire time, even though that's not gonna be my regular position? And is it hard at first? I'm just really nervous because I know there's a bunch of different numbers you have to remember for the fruits, plus you have to bag everything and I'm worried I won't do it correctly. I know someone is there training you, but my friend said they only train you for like an hour and then they leave you alone to do it...which scares me. I'm just afraid I won't pick it up very fast and I'll be super slow with the customers, and I won't bag things properly...any advice/insight? If you have worked as a cashier or even just on the cash register a few times at Target that would be great. I just need some reassurance I what I can expect for my first day. Thanks!
