How Much Did Fellani Cost And How Much Did Flamini Cost

What are your football club transfer grades?

Here are mine:
Arsenal: A-
They got the one position that they desperately needed. They picked up a goalkeeper. I also think they will pick up antoher good defense player like Hummels or Dante.

Chelsea: B
They had the best back four last year: Azcipuelta, Terry, Ivanovic, and Cahill. Their midfield is tainted with the experitse of Fabby and Hazard. They are impeccable, they only position they could use was a backup striker, and they got it with Falcao. I think they are lining up for a second consecutive Preimer League title.

Manchester City: A+
They are litterally getting all the holes filled in. They got Delph and Sterling that create a lot of more attacking options up there with Aguero and the Nasri. They might lose Dzeko, but that is fine.

Manchester United: D+
Ok, Ok. Ok. They have gotten the "big name signigns" like Sergio Romero, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Schneiderlin, Darmian, and Depay! Ok, they got good guys, but NOT the guys they need. Schweinsteiger is a German Michael Carrick. Depay creates few more options, but would you choose him over Juan Mata and Anders Herrera? If there is anything they need it is a better back four. Smalling, Jones, and Shaw are the Achilles Heel of that team.

Liverpool: C
They did get Firmino and Benteke, but they are no substitutes for Sterling and Gerrad. Expect a fourth place finish if that, But nothing below seventh. And don't brink up Europa League or Cup Championships, because that is asking for too much.

Why are England under achieving as a football nation?  why were we so much more successful back in the 60s ?And is the premier league benefiting European players more than British players?

England aren't under-achieving, they are performing precisely to potential. They have been hurt by inflated expectations. The Premier League is a great league but it's the foreigners who add the real quality. What makes Arsenal tick? Englishmen? Wilshere is one of their worst midfielders with Arteta, Flamini, Ramsey and Ozil. Chelsea? Hazard, Oscar, Schurrle, Willian. Man City? Englishmen? Ha. Rooney and Gerrard are the two truly world class players England have, while a player like Mata (who is better than every English midfielder) can't even make the Spain XI.For years the success of PL clubs in Europe (esp 2004-09) has been mistaken for national quality, whereas it was really the Drogbas, Henrys, Ronaldos who made the teams perform so well. The best clubs from other leagues that have succeeded in Europe (Barcelona, Bayern, Dortmund) have a very pronounced local core, feeding the national team with quality players. Bayern took a small "break" from the top party after 06-07 to rebuild, look at them now. English clubs do not seem willing to build in such a manner and just chase the best foreign talent, since the pressure for success is so high. There is a current lack of players on par technically with their foreign counterparts. This may be a grassroots problem and could take quite a while to address. Germany had a similar problem after EURO 1996, after which they proceeded to have a disastrous couple of tournaments. Since then they have torn down the old structure, brought in 50+1, and implemented a youth policy which is paying dividends now (selecting at most 3 from Reus, Gotze, Kroos, Draxler, Schurrle. Aaargggh. Meanwhile England were playing Ashley Young at no. 10 in the last EURO). They haven't failed to make a World Cup semifinal after 1998.Belgium are also reaping the rewards of similar efforts. Wilmots and his squad may be inexperienced but there is undoubtedly much more talent in that team than England's - most of whom ironically play in the Premier League (Kompany, Mirallas, Benteke, Lukaku, Hazard, de Bruyne, Fellaini). There's also a lack of top-level English managers (only 4 Premier League managers are English). No English manager has won the Premier League.Leagues in other top nations very obviously lean towards building teams around local talent and management. The Premiership with all its money has chosen not to do so, and England are suffering as a result.

What do you dislike about the football club you support?

You throw a rock on a street in India and chances are it'll hit an engineer and a couple of United fans.I am a supporter of Manchester United and I must admit I dislike plastic fans of my club.I understand the club has massive legacy, a history of success, some of the greatest names in British and world football, has been the most successful English club of our generation, and an undying spirit with the will to play positive, attacking football, match in match out. However, every now and then, you come across fans who don't understand one thing about football and support Manchester United because they're the most popular club in this part of the world. They'll be in our rivals faces if we win against them and will take losses like sour grapes. They won't understand why Fellaini plays at the top of our formation and why Scholesy started out as a hole player but was relegated to a sitting role in the later half of his career. Heck, they won't even know what the "hole" is.It's just disappointing to see such people latch on to a club because of their popularity, grandeur and success. It's almost as if they want to be elitist by being fans of Manchester United. Sorry people, you're not fans in my book.

How can Arsenal FC go forward?

Wenger is the man for the job. There is nobody available that could properly replace him. I can't believe he is being slated by fans after all he has done for the club. I've been an arsenal fan for almost 10 years ( became fan when barca defeated them 2-1 in the UCL Final. May 17, 2006.. my birthday). He has gradually improved the squad throughout the past 2-3 years and I believe this summer he will overhaul the team. He has a plan in mind to leave on a high with a world class team to his successor. We are not far from being an elite team. Even though it will be difficult to win the league this year we can still have faith that the results will go in our favor. Perfect Signings for 16/17 :CB - Howedes CM - XhakaST - IbrahimovicAll three are leaders, captains, and one has won a world cup being played out of position. Wenger is often slated for his over-reliance on players. People tend to forget that players are human beings and sometimes need to be shown faith to flourish.Mikel Arteta - When the club was still in debt and in need of signing a midfielder after nasri and fabregas left us. Mikel took a paycut to join our team and led like a captain from the start. He was always the silent contributor, he was not flashy in any aspect but got the job done. He managed to keep us in the top 4 while he was captain of the team, and I will never forget that goal vs manchester city that kept us in the top 4 and cemented our spot there. Under appreciated, Under rated. Mikel saved us, yet many still treat him unfairly. Research a bit or look at his contributions and you will see all he did for us... While being played in an unfamiliar position. Mathieu Flamini - His first season from his second spell was great everyone was praising him and saying how Wenger knows best instead of buying fellaini who became a flop for united. Yes, he is past his best. But he too has saved us more than once and should be appreciated more.Wenger's faith in his player goes on to show the morality behind the game. Wenger believes in football not in the money business it has turned into. This years BPL will most probably go to Leicester City a team who cost less than Mesut Ozil. Once they win the trophy it should bring happiness to the world because football has won. Football should not be about money.   Lets support this beautiful club until the end.
