How Much Do Guys Usually Bring To College

Do I need to bring a robe to college?

It would be a good idea to have a robe if you have a community-bathroom setting. This would help you avoid embarrassing walks back to your room in your towel.

What are the things college guys should own?

This really depends upon you, your goals, your financial status and living arrangements. My son is a junior that has lived on campus for three years now. The first two years, he had basic items such as snacks, hangers, closet organizers, cleaning supplies, laundry supplies (soap & a laundry bag or basket), toiletries, a shower caddy, a shoe organizer to store/organize toiletries etc, bedding, a mattress pad (egg crate etc), an iron & ironing board, a tv, gaming system, a fire stick (stream amazon prime & Netflix when his schedules allows), a blue tooth speaker alarm clock, a sturdy bookbag and laptop. He does not have a printer as his room is rather small and they get free printing on campus and its location is next to his dorm he tends to study in the library or outside of his room a lot. If he spent more time in his room or alone, or had to print more often, a printer would be helpful. He doesnt have a microwave, as they have one in his suite. He had a fridge the first year that broke after a few months though he didn't use it as much as expected. He uses the provided fridge in his dorm suite. i have offered to get him bike but as his campus is sprawled over an urban area, he typically takes the bus/campus transit. This year, he will have his car on campus as he belongs to a frat and needs greater accessibility to off campus activities and community events (they perform a lot of service hours). He recently mentioned that he'd like a hot plate and/or crock pot this year so that he can eat less campus food (he doesn't like it that much and likes to eat healthy). His dorm comes standard with a desk, chair, bookcases, wardrobe and dresser. I bought him a cool chair and some other items but he either tossed them or gave them away as his room was cramped. The other items we bought at the local target and Walmart so we had less things to take with us since he attends school out of state. we store everything at a storage near his campus (they offer student discount) during the summer months he brings home the few clothes and shoes he may need for summer.not all of the items are necessary but make it more comfortable while he's away from home. Aside from that, is there a specific scenario or question?

Do most college guys just want sex?

I always get a feeling that college guys are not looking for a serious relationship as much as the girls are. like some guys are going into the relationship, hoping to have great sex more than a great emotional connection with the girl. like a lot guys just prefer to go to a party and hook up with random girls rather than a relationship because they are afraid of commitment?... GUYS...do you think this is true? are there college/young guys out there who really want to be in a relationship with both an emotional and physical connection with one girl (and have marriage in the back of their mind)? GIRLS...do u agree?

How much clothing should I bring to college?

Pretty much enough to get by for around 2 weeks. (14 days, obviously)

So around 3-4 pairs of jeans (You can wear them for 2 days, it's not like they're going to be covered in dirt and mud, they're just touching your skin.)
2 pairs of some type of formals pants.
Around 5 pairs of any comfortable pants to just wear around. (Bermudas, short shorts, skirts anything.)

Around 10-15 Regular Shirts, about 5 camis, and 2 long-sleeved shirts.
About 7 formal-wear clothes.

2-4 Jackets/Sweaters depending on how cold you get.

And bring enough personal items (Bras, underwear, etc.) to last for at least 2 weeks without washing.

Overall just try to bring as much as possible. I know you might feel tired overpacking and having so many clothes, but it's definitely worth it. That up there I posted should be around a minimum, you should try to bring more than that.
At first, you'll probably be like, "Gosh, why did I bring so many clothes? They're just taking up room."
Well, after a few weeks, you'll be tired of going to the washer and you'll be glad of it. Anyway, if you feel like you've packed too much, you can always go to the city's donation center and donate a few clothes.

Do most guys bring condoms with them to parties?

First off I'm a guy so I can tell you the truth..
Carry several with you.
1.If he has a condom he may have been carrying the damn thing for three years in his billfold...Its kinda like a guy thing.
2.If he has one and it were in good shape it make two before he finally figures out what to do with it...Remember I'm a guy..I know.
3.If you put it on it'll be done right. He doesn't even know you are supposed to leave it loose on the tip to act like a reservoir.
4.If you want to be sure not to get pregnant be sure it's on correctly.
5.Never forget that guys are idiots (remember I'm a guy, I should know!) its up to the girl to show us every freaking thing..

What type of bag do guys typically carry around in college?

Both in undergrad and grad school, I carried an over-one-shoulder messenger bag. It handles laptops, books, and miscellaneous supplies. Many other students carried something similar, otherwise it was their high-school backpack.Judging by your question, you are more concerned about the “guy” part. I don’t know what region of the world you’re asking this from, but if it’s the US, you are wasting time with such a question. Carry whatever bag you want. A hot pink dog purse with bedazzled rhinestones spelling “JUICY BOI” would be fine. It would be a fun conversation starter!

How many years did it take you to graduate college?

The race doesn't always go to the swift. I would focus more on getting good grades and majoring in something that you enjoy to help ensure long-term quality of life as well as financial security.

I have known people that finished up at 21 years old and some who graduated in their late 60's (undergraduate degrees). You will usually enjoy the maximum financial benefits of a college education the sooner you complete it (the time value of money), however it is always a worthy goal worth attaining for personal growth and satisfaction, regardless of your age.

My suggestion, try not to feel so pressured to complete it ASAP at the cost of sacrificing your emotional well-being in the grand scheme of things another 6 months to a year to complete it is likely insignificant. Good luck!

How many pairs of shoes should a guy take to college?

I'm going to be a freshman soon, but I have so many shoes that I want to take, so I just wanted a feel of the average amount that every dude takes, considering dorm rooms are small and all.
