Kingdom Hearts (Aqua) cosplay at Disneyland?
So, I'm planning on going to Disneyland sometime after the school years starts. Ever since I was a little girl, I always wanted to wear a Kingdom Hearts cosplay to Disneyland. I was planning on fufilling that as Aqua, from Birth by Sleep (image attatched). I was going to modify it so the white cloth on her waist is an actual normal white skirt, more 'normal' arm sleeves (tighter to my skin), brown boots with silver accents, and getting rid of all metal-like objects. Probably going to just have my normal blah hair (but please let me know if it would be okay to wear a toned down blue wig !! cause i love her hairstyle). Everything else would be the same. A couple years back, some Kingdom Hearts cosplayers got forced to change out their clothes, and that'd be really embarassing to happen to me. If I didn't make a scene or pose for photos (except my own trip photos with friends), would I be okay? I think it should be, but I want other opinions.
Do Disney cast members have air conditioned costumes?
Oh how they wish they were. On really hot days, Pooh Bear, Baloo Bear, the heavy costumes are provided ice packs. One day, it was a sweltering day for the 3 o’clock Parade. Parade exit was at Frontierland, one Big Box float had the music blaring so loud that the cast member portraying the Robin Hood Fox, did not hear the locomotive steam whistle blowing. The Parade Traffic host was looking at the approaching train when his peripheral vision caught the heat exhausted cast member as he stepped into the path of the steam train. The Parade Traffic host spun and slammed the kid between his shoulder blades sending him flying. The Parade host took one step back as the train passed ripping his shirt. Meanwhile Robin Hood rolled over on his back, seeing the train and the kid lost it. After that, the music was turned off. That what Florida Heat can do when encased in a character costume.

Authentic Mickey Mouse Costume Like Worn Inside Disney World?
My daughter is turning 2 and for her Birthday Party we are going to have Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck come, and I was curious if anyone knew of a place to rent/buy the official costumes just like the characters wear inside Disney. I have found a lot of website selling cheap replica costumes, but I am looking for the official actual costume just like in the parks. Thanks so much in advance for any and all help!
Does Disneyland characters have air conditioning in those suits?
There is no air conditioning. My sister worked at Disney World and was sevaral characters. One time when she had to be Winnie-the-Pooh, it was so hot and humid that she poked out his eye so she could go inside. True story.
Do Disney cast members have shoes assigned individually, or do they share them, along with the rest of their costume?
Usually shoes are not company issue, except perhaps for specific tasks. Ride Operators are given several choices for shoes (black color, no ornamentation or logos, etc.), but they are required to purchase them for their own use. Costumed characters will have 'one size fits all' shoes that fit over the characters own shoes or sanitary booties. Face characters (princesses, et al) will have shoes tailored to their size, but most likely won't be shared until they leave that role, at which time they'll probably be sanitized a la rental bowling shoes.
How much do the people at disney world get paid?
Its totally pathetic about 7 dollars an hour, get ajob as a waiter you will make a lot more $$ plus you won't have to deal with the heat & screaming bratz!
Can you bring homemade mouse ears into disney world?
My husband said they don't allow non disney clothes and ears in disney world? Is this true? If I buy mouse ears from etsy will they let me wear them or not?
