How much does a small tattoo cost?
I want to get a tattoo of a 3 on my hand. It'll be really simple, no details or color.. just plain black. It'll be smaller than a penny, about the size of a dime. It's my first tat and I'm not worried at all about the pain, I just want to know roughly how much it would cost. Thanks Everyone!!

Depends on the studio fee of the shop. That is the minimal amount a studio will charge for a tattoo. For most shops the price is about 50$. However, this depends on the area, how reputable the shop is, and how good the artists are. If you go to a place and there is no studio fee or it is very small like 20$ I would run away and find a decent place. I would say anywhere from 50-70 dollars. I had 4 small stars done, with multiple color for 50$ and that was at a decent studio. Talk to your artist they can give you the most accurate price.

Although the tattoo takes all but 30 seconds and no redrawing of artwork, they still have to run the gun, use ink then throw the rest out, use a pair of gloves, use a needle, then discard, wrap you up, after applying ointment, etc. etc.All these accoutrements are not free for the shop.Depending on the shop, location and artists that work there a minimum could be anywhere from $40 to over $100.Suggested - max out your tattoo for the amount of money you spend.Usually once you get one you get another and another….

Just got a pretty large chest panel tattoo done. Its healed but I noticed 4 gaps along the outline that have just disapeared. Either i accidently scratched them off, it didnt heal right or something. Anyways they are VERY small gaps, but its really bugging me. How much would it cost to touch up about 1 inch of tattoo outline total? Like i said, it is barely noticeable but its bothering me and I would like these lines filled if possible. I would go back to the original artist but I got it done out of state and it would be impossible to travel back to get the touch up for free.

don't skimp out in terms of how much you spend. tattoos last for life and you don't want to be thinking you don't like it as much, but at least it was cheap.
